This gentle guided meditation is designed for the immediate days after surgery when your body needs deep rest and reassurance. Through slow, calming breathwork and healing visualization, you'll be reminded that your body knows how to heal itself - one breath at a time. We'll focus on the present moment only, releasing worry about the recovery ahead and trusting your body's innate wisdom. Permission is given to feel all emotions that arise, as releasing is part of the healing process too.

Hello.

I am so glad you're here.

You did it.

You made it through.

The hardest part is behind you now.

Right now,

Your body is doing exactly what it's supposed to do.

It's healing.

With every single breath you take,

Your body is working to repair,

To restore,

To recover.

You don't need to do anything but be here.

Rest is healing.

Breathing is healing.

You are healing.

Let's take this one breath at a time.

That's all we need to focus on right now.

Not tomorrow.

Not next week.

Just this one breath.

Breathe in gently and breathe out.

That's it.

You are doing beautifully.

Notice where you are lying right now.

Feel what's supporting you beneath you.

The bed,

The pillow.

You are being held.

You are safe.

If it feels okay,

Let your eyes close or just soften your gaze.

Whatever feels most comfortable right now.

Your body has been through something big and I want you to know you are so strong.

Stronger than you might feel right now.

You got through the surgery and you are going to get through this recovery one breath at a time.

Let's breathe together nice and slow.

As gentle as you need and either through the nose or through the mouth.

Whichever feels best for you right now.

I am going to count for you.

Try to follow along but it's okay if you can't.

We will do three sets.

First release all of the breath out of your lungs.

Breathe in slowly now.

Four and breathe out.

Breathe in slowly.

Now just let your breath find its own rhythm.

Natural and easy.

With each breath in you are bringing oxygen to every cell in your body.

Oxygen that helps you repair.

Your body knows what to do.

Trust your body's wisdom.

I want you to imagine something with me.

Imagine that with every breath you take,

Healing energy is flowing through your entire body like a warm golden light moving through you.

The light is going exactly where your body needs it most.

To the places that are healing.

To the places that are tender.

This light is repair.

This light is restoration.

When you breathe in the light glows brighter.

When you breathe out the light spreads reaching every cell.

Your body is made to heal.

It knows exactly what to do.

Right now at this very moment your cells are regenerating.

Your tissue is repairing and your body is getting stronger.

Every minute that passes you are healing more and more.

Every breath you take you are getting stronger.

You don't have to think about next week.

You don't have to worry about how long this will take.

All you need to do is be here in this moment.

Breathing,

Giving yourself the time and space and gentleness you deserve and you need in this moment.

Keep breathing that warm golden light.

Let it move through your whole body.

It's working with your body,

Supporting your body,

Celebrating your body's incredible ability to heal itself.

You are not alone in this.

Your body is your partner.

Your breath is your anchor and healing is happening right now.

If you're feeling pain that's okay.

Pain is part of this journey and it means your body is working,

Repairing,

Communicating with you.

You can breathe with it.

You can be gentle with it.

Breathe in and say or think,

I'm here with you pain.

Breathe out and say or think,

I trust my body.

And if emotions come up right now,

Sadness,

Fear,

Relief,

Grief,

Let them.

It is okay to cry.

It's okay to feel whatever you are feeling.

Your body just went through something extraordinary,

Something big and you showed up for yourself.

You made it through.

Your body is resetting,

Rewiring,

Restructuring.

Be so proud of yourself.

So proud.

You are brave.

You are strong.

And you are allowed to feel all of it.

Releasing emotion is part of healing too.

Your tears,

Your feelings,

They are welcome here.

Let them move through you.

You are doing so well,

Better than you might think.

Your body is resilient.

You are resilient.

Let's take six more healing breaths together.

Let out all of the air in your lungs.

Breathe in deeply.
