Hello and welcome to Freedom Fridays,

Where we explore pathways to inner peace and emotional liberation.

Today we'll embark on a journey using the emotional freedom technique,

Combined with guided visualisation.

EFT,

Often referred to as tapping,

Is a powerful tool that helps release emotional blockages,

Bringing us closer to a state of balance and freedom.

As we move through this session,

Allow yourself to be open to the experience,

Trusting in the process as we tap into a sense of calm and clarity.

Find a comfortable position,

Either sitting or lying down,

And gently close your eyes.

Begin by taking a few deep breaths,

Inhaling deeply through your nose and exhaling slowly through your mouth.

As you breathe,

Imagine releasing any tension or stress from your body.

Let your shoulders drop,

Your jaw relax and your mind settle.

Bring your awareness to the present moment,

Feeling the rhythm of your breath.

With each inhale,

Invite a sense of peace and relaxation.

With each exhale,

Let go of any lingering thoughts or worries.

This time is just for you.

Allow yourself to fully arrive in this space,

Open and ready to receive the benefits of this practice.

We're going to journey inwards using visualisation and tapping to release the emotional weight that no longer serves you.

Let's begin by placing your hands on your heart,

Feeling the gentle rise and fall with each breath.

Connect with the rhythm of your heartbeat,

A steady and reliable presence.

And now bring your attention to any areas of your life where you may be feeling stuck,

Overwhelmed or burdened.

Without judgement,

Simply acknowledge these feelings.

Notice how they manifest in your body.

Perhaps as a tightness in your chest,

A knot in your stomach or a heaviness in your shoulders.

And now we're going to start tapping on the side of your hand,

The soft area beneath your little finger.

This is your karate chop point.

And as you tap,

Repeat after me,

Either out loud or in your mind.

Even though I feel this burden,

I deeply and completely accept myself.

Continue tapping,

Allowing these words to resonate.

Feel the gentle rhythm of your fingertips and with each tap,

Imagine the tension beginning to loosen.

And now we'll move our tapping to the top of your head.

Tapping lightly,

Repeat the phrase,

I release my burden.

Feel that release begin.

Now tap at the beginning of your eyebrow,

Near the bridge of your nose.

And as you tap,

Repeat to yourself,

I let go of what no longer serves me.

Now move your tapping to the side of your eye,

At the bone.

Whilst you tap here,

Repeat the phrase,

I'm ready to set myself free.

And as you move this tapping to under your eye,

Focus on what freedom feels like.

Allow the phrase,

I choose to let go and be free.

To be the focus of your mind,

While you tap here.

Shift your tapping to just under your nose,

Tapping gently,

And repeat the phrase,

I release all that weighs me down.

Moving to your chin,

Repeat the phrase,

I embrace my true self.

From the chin,

Move your tapping down to your collar bone,

Just below the neck.

While you're here,

Repeat the phrase,

I am open to freedom and peace.

Finally,

Tap under your arm,

About four inches below the armpit.

Repeating the phrase,

I am worthy of emotional freedom.

Now take a deep breath in,

And as you exhale,

Imagine a bright warm light spreading from your heart,

Expanding with each breath.

See there's light dissolving any remaining blocks,

Like clouds parting in the sky.

See yourself standing in a beautiful open space,

Perhaps a meadow or by the ocean,

A place that feels safe and liberating.

In this space,

Visualize yourself as unburdened,

Light and free.

Watch as any residual stress or negative emotions drift away like leaves in the wind.

Notice how you feel lighter or at ease.

Imagine a gentle breeze carrying away any remaining doubts,

Leaving you grounded and clear.

Stay here for a few moments,

Fully embracing this sense of freedom.

Let it fill every part of your being.

And if any thoughts or emotions arise,

Acknowledge them,

Then let them go,

Allowing the visualization and tapping to continue to guide you to a place of inner peace.

Now bring your attention back to your breath.

Feel the steadiness of your inhale and exhale.

Know that this sense of freedom is within you,

Accessible at any time.

As you slowly release the tapping,

Place your hands back on your heart.

Feel the warmth and strength you've cultivated.

You've taken this time to honor yourself,

To release what no longer serves you and to embrace the freedom that's your birthright.

Hold onto this feeling,

Letting it guide you through the rest of your day,

Your week and beyond.

You are free.

You are whole.

You are enough.

And as we begin to close this session,

Take a moment to thank yourself for this time of self-care and healing.

Acknowledge the work you've done today,

Releasing old patterns and making space for peace and freedom.

Trust that the energy you've shifted will continue to work in your favor,

Bringing more ease and joy into your life.

And when you're ready,

Gently begin to move your fingers and toes,

Bringing awareness back into your body.

Slowly open your eyes,

Taking in the space around you.

And know that you can return to this state of calm and freedom whenever you need it.

Carry this sense of lightness with you,

Knowing you've taken a powerful step towards emotional freedom today.
