Hello and welcome.

In this session we're going to calm down.

Wherever you are right now just follow along and just allow the breath to do the work for you.

No visualization,

No effort,

No trying,

Just breathing.

Now to start we're just going to take a few deep breaths in through our nose and then we're going to release with an audible sigh through our mouth.

Sometimes it helps just to straighten your back on the inhale and let everything go including any tension in your body on the exhale.

Okay,

So breathing in through the nose and release.

This sound is going to signify to your body that it's safe to let go.

We're going to do this a few more times just to really feel the benefits.

Deep breath in through your nose,

Hold it for a second at the top and let go.

Breathing in through the nose,

Tense your body and release.

Do that again,

So again tense on the inhale,

Hold it for a second and then release.

Just do one more of those.

Breathing in,

Tensing on the in-breath,

Squeeze and release.

Just come back to normal breathing.

Now as we go deeper we're going to do five minutes of breath of the wind and to do this breath all you need to do is push your lips out like you're blowing out candles and then just breathe in and out as slowly as you can through your mouth.

Starting on the in-breath,

Let's begin.

Nice and slow,

Really enjoy each of the breaths.

Use my breath as a guide but always follow your body.

You're doing amazing.

Just keep focusing on the breath and just letting go.

Hold the breath for a moment and release.

Back to normal breathing.

Now I'd like you just to take a nice deep breath in through your nose and on the out-breath we're just going to hum.

Let's do that again,

Nice deep breath in,

Nice gentle hum.

Just one last lovely gentle hum just to finish off this session.

And just hold at the end of your hum and release whenever you're ready.

Bask in these beautiful vibrations for the next two minutes.

And oh so slowly just coming back to the body,

Taking all of that beautiful spaciousness,

That calm and just taking that with you,

Holding on to that knowing sense of depth and spaciousness.
