Okay,

Beautiful.

Let's connect to our belly.

Let's find a way to release all tension and anger and upset around our belly,

What it looks like,

How it feels.

By using this meditation,

We will ground into this power center,

Into the place that holds our emotions.

So finding a position that feels very good for you to relax.

And as you do that,

Let your body begin to simmer and set.

Let your eyes relax and your jaw relax,

And letting go of your day by relaxing your shoulders and relaxing your solar plexus,

And feeling your arms and your hands relax,

Getting the whole body ready for relaxation.

Now bringing your energy slowly down into your belly,

And just using your breath and just dropping your breath into your belly.

Feel your belly moving in and moving out.

So on the inhale,

The belly moves out.

And on the exhale,

The belly moves in,

Very gently now.

The breath is a tool to let the body know that it can relax.

And letting the breath relax this first layer of tension that's in the belly.

And as you breathe in and out,

You soften your belly even more,

And saying to yourself internally,

Or whispering out loud,

It is safe to relax my belly,

It is safe to relax my belly,

It is safe,

It is safe,

It is safe.

Just saying if you have any fear,

Any concerns,

Any emotions that come up in this,

And it's okay if you do,

Just feeling them and being with them,

Breathing through it.

And permission to relax your belly deeply,

Deeply from the inside out,

Feeling the muscles begin to soften,

Feeling the cells begin to receive the relaxation,

Tension releases deep,

Deep into the belly,

Into the organs,

The deep organs that are inside you that are holding tension.

Feel those release and relax.

It is safe,

It is safe.

Noticing any fear,

Noticing any emotion,

You may have a release of emotion here because of holding so much tension in,

And let it go,

Let it go,

Let it go,

Let it go,

Let it go,

Let it go.

And take your hands and put them down on your belly,

And you can just gently massage maybe in a circle or just touching whatever feels good,

And using your hands to relax your belly even more.

Notice anything that comes up here for you as you do this,

And then bringing your hands right on your lower belly,

And imagining your hands pouring love into your belly.

And whatever appreciation or love that you have for your belly right now,

I want you to give that to your belly.

Thank your belly.

This is also an opportunity to have a conversation with your belly,

Maybe there is some forgiveness that needs to happen here,

Forgiving your belly for not being exactly what you want it to be and to look the exact way you want it to look.

And maybe you can ask for forgiveness from your belly for being,

Holding so much tension in here and being so hard on yourself and on your belly,

And noticing if your belly has anything that it wants to say to you,

And relaxing your belly even more.

And to seal in this practice,

I want you to just deeply breathe deep into your pelvis,

Even below your belly,

Feeling that space open up as your belly expands,

And exhaling.

A couple more just like that,

Breathing deep below your belly into your pelvis,

Having that space hold and open,

Belly opens,

Everything opens.

One more deep inhale from the depths of your being,

With an open belly,

And exhale.

Staying here with your belly for as long as you want,

And whenever you're ready,

Integrating this open,

Beautiful,

Soft belly into your day.
