Hello,

My name's Mark.

Thank you for choosing to listen to this meditation.

Hopefully by the end it will give you a little bit more confidence and empower you to stand in your true self with all your wonderful neuro spiciness.

This meditation is designed to help you embrace your uniqueness and build confidence as a neurodivergent individual.

This is a space where you can let go of the judgement,

Quiet the noise of the world and connect with your inner strength.

We live in a world that often celebrates conformity,

But the truth is your differences are what make you extraordinary.

Your perspective,

Your experiences and the way your mind works are all gifts,

Things to honour and celebrate.

During this meditation we'll focus on grounding yourself in the present,

Connecting with your unique qualities and nurturing a sense of confidence that comes from within you.

Hopefully by the end you'll feel a little bit more aligned with who you are and more empowered to carry on that confidence into your day.

Okay,

So let's begin by finding a comfortable position.

You can either sit or lie down or choose any posture that feels right for you,

Just make sure you're comfortable.

Allow your body to relax,

Softening your shoulders,

Unclenching your jaw and just let your hands rest naturally.

Now take a deep breath in through your nose,

Feel your chest expand and exhale through your mouth,

Letting go of any tension.

This is your time,

Your space.

Let's reconnect with you.

Start by noticing the points where your body connects to the surface beneath you,

Feel the stability of the ground or chair supporting you.

Now gently bring your awareness to your breath,

There's no need to change it,

Just notice it.

Feel the air enter in your body as you inhale and leave in your body as you exhale.

With each breath,

Imagine yourself drawing in a sense of calm and groundedness.

As you exhale,

Let go of tension,

Self-doubt or the expectations others may have placed on you.

Take a moment to acknowledge that you are exactly where you need to be right now.

Take a deep breath in and exhale.

And as you exhale,

Let your mind now begin to reflect on who you are,

The person you've grown to be and still are becoming.

Imagine that you are standing in front of a mirror,

But this mirror doesn't just reflect your physical appearance,

It reflects your inner qualities,

Your thoughts,

Your uniqueness.

What do you see?

Now,

Think about something that makes you different,

Something that may have once felt like a challenge or something you've been told is too much or not enough.

Gently bring that quality into focus,

But not as a flaw,

It is your strength.

For example,

If your mind races with ideas,

This means you're creative and capable of thinking outside of the box.

If you feel deeply,

This means you have the gift of empathy and connection.

If you see the world differently,

This means you can bring fresh perspectives to old problems.

Let yourself acknowledge all of these qualities,

And they're not just acceptable,

They are extremely powerful.

You are not broken or incomplete,

You are whole,

Perfect as you are.

Take a moment to silently repeat.

My mind works in a way that is uniquely mine.

The things that make me different,

Make me more powerful.

I release myself of the need to compare myself to others.

Now,

Imagine your uniqueness as a garden.

Every flower,

Plant or tree in this garden represents a strength or trait that makes you who you are.

Some parts of your garden may seem wild and untamed,

While others feel orderly and calm.

Each part plays a vital role in creating the beautiful whole of yourself.

As you breathe,

Imagine yourself tending to this garden,

Not to change it,

But to nurture it.

You water the plants,

Pull out any weeds of self-doubt and create space for your gifts to flourish.

Visualise this garden,

Growing vibrant and alive,

Bursting with colour,

Beautiful textures and life.

This is your inner self thriving.

Be unapologetically unique.

Feel how it's not just enough,

It's extraordinary.

Now,

Silently or softly say to yourself.

I celebrate the way I think,

Feel and see the world.

I honour my path and the lessons I've learned.

I embrace myself fully and completely.

Let these affirmations settle into your heart,

Like seeds planted in fertile soil.

Trust that as you continue your journey,

Your uniqueness will lead you to be exactly where you're meant to be.

Take a deep breath in,

Allowing pride in your individuality to fill your entire being.

And exhale,

Releasing any remaining doubts or worries.

Feel the warmth of self-acceptance radiating from within inside you.

This is your power,

Your light.

You are unique.

And that is your greatest strength.

Imagine now,

A version of yourself standing in front of you,

Confident,

Calm and fully at ease.

This version of you embodies everything you hope to feel,

Self-assuredness,

Pride in your uniqueness and a sense of belonging.

Notice their posture,

Their facial expression,

The way they carried themselves.

This version of you already exists.

It's within you and it's waiting to be embraced.

As you breathe,

Imagine stepping into this version of yourself.

Feel their confidence becoming your confidence,

Their strength merging with your own.

Say silently or aloud,

I trust myself.

I am proud of who I am.

I am capable and deserving of success.

I am valuable and I am deserving of love and appreciation.

Now,

As we near the end of this meditation,

Take a few more deep breaths,

Letting the feelings of confidence and self-acceptance settle in your body.

When you are ready,

Gently wiggle your fingers and toes,

Bringing your awareness back to the present moment.

If your eyes were closed,

Let them softly open.

Now,

Carry this sense of self-assuredness with you throughout your day.

Remember,

Your differences are your power and you are uniquely equipped to navigate this world with strength and authenticity.

Take one final deep breath in and exhale.

You are now ready to move forward with confidence.

Thank you for taking the time to listen to this meditation.

Remember,

The confidence you've connected with today is always within you.

It doesn't come from external validation or comparison.

It's rooted in your unique qualities,

Your resilience and your ability to grow.

Carry this sense of self-assurance with you throughout your day.

Whenever you need to reconnect with it,

Remember the affirmations,

The golden light within you in the garden of your uniqueness.

Before we go,

Take one final deep breath in,

Fill in your lungs completely and exhale slowly and just ground yourself in this moment.

Go forward with peace and pride.

You've got this.
