Your inner child is at any point before now, what did she wish she had at the time, it is never too late, you can support your inner child and give her the love she needs with this meditation today. Healing your inner child meditation.

Begin by becoming aware of your breath.

Consciously take a slow deep breath in and exhale gently.

If you feel any tension in your body,

Focus on that area and breathe into that area,

Releasing the tension with the out breath.

Allow the breath to relax your muscles and any tension you may be holding.

Breathe in slowly and breathe out gently.

Put yourself in a comfortable position,

Sitting up straight or laying down.

Be comfortable and warm.

The following process is a journey to heal your inner child.

Your inner child is any point before now.

That is your younger self.

Today,

I'll refer to it as your inner child.

Please take it slowly as past pain and emotion can rise to the surface.

If this happens,

Take several deep breaths and visualize the violet light transmuting the emotion,

Bringing you back to a state of calm and breathe through it.

So I would like you to imagine you're at one end of a tunnel.

The tunnel feels warm and comfortable.

You are happy to be there,

Even though you don't quite know why.

When you look through the tunnel,

You can see a bright light and feeling comfortable now,

You begin walking through the tunnel.

You see that there is someone at the other end of the tunnel.

As you get closer,

You can see that the person is your inner child,

An earlier version of you,

And they are so happy to see you.

Remember,

You feel safe and secure during this visualization.

And using what you know to be right,

You stand with this inner child.

You can hug them or cradle them or hold them,

Whatever feels right to them.

You know what's right because it is you.

You are here to give a gift to your younger self,

The gift of love.

So start by visualizing a bright violet light shining down and enveloping you both,

And see it beginning to slowly transmute any pain or trauma.

Really see this light shining on you both,

Transmuting all that you feel ready to let go of.

And moving deeper into this experience,

If you choose to,

As you are standing there together within the safety of the violet light,

Look just above you both.

I want you to visualize a screen projecting scenes from your childhood that were painful or traumatic.

The scenes and images displayed begin as a young child and gradually unfold as you grow older.

Stay with each scene as long as you need,

As long as you can feel the emotion,

The anger or the sadness,

And then you feel the violet light clearing the energy.

See the violet light lifting the emotion away,

Washing it away.

Allow the scenes to come and go and visualize that violet light shining brighter and stronger and healing these past memories from your cellular memory.

Healing these things will enable you to let them go.

So you can take as long as you like.

You might like to pause or go back into this later,

But I want you to feel and re-experience these childhood memories,

Allowing the violet light to clear and heal them.

And if at any time you feel overwhelmed by emotion,

Slow down the whole process by taking three deep breaths.

And when you feel calm again,

You can begin the process where you left off,

But this time a bit slower.

Take it slowly,

Because there is no rush.

The slower the better.

It is better to go slower than faster.

And you may need to practice this meditation process a few times before you fully heal your inner child.

But healing your inner child is exactly what you are doing.

Now visualize the child turning to you and really seeing you,

The you that is now,

That is their future.

Seeing all the great things that you've accomplished,

And all the success you've had in your life.

Seeing that life does get better.

There is silver linings ahead.

The child can see how good it will be,

Gradually growing into the adult that you are today.

Now you can give your child a special message,

One you will notice the benefit of even today.

Now knowing your inner child has had that gift all along.

When it is time to go,

Leave your inner child with parting words of love and support.

You both now know there is a special place in your heart for your inner child and you can visit them any time.

Deep breath.

As you walk back through the tunnel,

The comfortable,

Warm tunnel that brings you back to the now.

You can contemplate what you've learned.

You can contemplate how you've grown.

And you can know that when you get back to the now,

You will see evidence of the gift you gave your inner child.

You have just taken the first step to heal your inner child.

You may like to practice this meditation several times to clear and heal the layers of pain and trauma within you.

Healing your inner child won't necessarily happen overnight.

I want to suggest that it might,

But it might not,

Particularly if there are many buried memories.

Just as it took time to become hurt,

It will take time to heal these hurts.

So now that you're back into your present time,

When you are ready,

Gently bring your awareness back to your body where you are sitting or laying down.

You can start to wiggle your fingers and your toes,

Maybe stretch your legs,

Stretch your arms.

And when you feel ready,

Open your eyes,

Coming back to full waking consciousness.

And then you can choose to explore what you've learned about yourself today.
