In this Guided Meditation, you’ll learn to transform personal worry into collective calm by first noticing anxious thoughts and then extending compassion outward to others who share that burden. Through guided breath-awareness and loving-kindness, you’ll breathe in your own anxiety with acceptance and breathe out waves of peace to those around you—visualizing a unifying circle of light that dissolves tension and cultivates ease, confidence, and connection. This practice reveals how our emotional lives are interwoven, showing that as we release our own worries, we also lift the weight from others and create a shared field of calm to carry everyone forward.

To begin thinking about the end.

To sit before you stand.

Giving time to think about how you feel.

Awareness of how our emotions are guiding our actions.

A moment to just think,

How do I feel?

That feeling that underlies everything I do.

When I am anxious,

In a deep state of anxiety,

I can see that I move around the room in a different way.

I am sure that when I interact with others,

My anxiety is very,

Very strong for me.

How can I help somebody when I am feeling so anxious today?

How can I talk to my friends and relieve them of their anxiety?

The most crucial attitude to have at any moment is just to know and to watch.

How is this affecting how I am acting with others and how can I possibly help anybody else when I feel so anxious?

The wish to help somebody is also in your mind.

The emotion of anxiety is also in your mind.

These are thoughts you are listening to.

Which one will you follow?

I can watch myself in my anxiety.

Then I can watch myself,

How I am helping others while I feel such pain.

That some pain that I have,

Others also experience.

Many are anxious right now.

So underlying the feeling of anxiety.

Let that be your love for another.

You know how they must feel too.

You know it deeply.

Invite that person to be there with you and see them sitting in your meditation space with you.

And do this meditation together.

Together,

We are going to take the time to look at the anxiety with clarity.

Watching your thoughts,

Watching your emotion and understanding how we can stop it.

Can we look at where it started?

Think back.

Go back.

But instead of looking at where you first felt anxious,

Let's think about our friends sitting next to us.

And let's imagine for just a moment.

That friend or another person.

Someone in your family.

When you felt anxious,

How did you express that to them?

We must be careful what we spread between us.

We pass around emotions unnecessarily.

What emotions do we want to share and to spread?

So we think of our friend either sitting next to us or someone else in our life.

And we recall a time when my anxiety may have also spread to them and they felt anxious too.

Time to protect each other from spreading.

Things that are not helpful.

Just to acknowledge.

Where did this feeling start?

Go back.

Go back.

We cannot go back as far.

As that moment where it did start.

It is underlying for a long time.

And we want to look to stop it.

So today,

Instead of spreading my anxiety,

I invited a friend to sit with me and meditate.

In hopes to stop the spread of these feelings deep,

Deep inside.

I feel.

I am.

But I do not have to be.

We have many emotions that we can spread now.

Ease the mind of someone you love.

Invite them to sit there too in meditation.

With a wish in your heart to spread the peace that you want to feel.

You know what that may feel like because you want it.

And once you have it,

You must share that with another.

There is no beginning.

There is no end.

To me.

But I can.

Stop spreading emotions that are not helpful to another.

From there,

I will begin to feel the ease in my own heart.

It will stop spreading within me.

Because I gave the peace of mind to someone.

I now can see peace of mind coming to me.

Feel light and happy.

That we have sat and looked into the depth of ourselves.

With the hope.

To only spread love and peace to others.

Thank your friend for sitting with you.

And they go and be happy and spread this meditation with someone they love.

Take one last moment to be happy.

Of this time you have spent.

Understanding.

With the compassion of your heart.

And sharing that.

Thank you.
