
Empowering Your Three Energy Centers

In this meditation, open and empower your Lower, Middle, and Upper Tan Tien (dantian) to improve your physical, emotional, and spiritual health. These three energy centers are a reservoir for your Qi. Empower your Vitality, Life Force, and Wisdom.

Okay,
Sitting nice and tall.
Relaxed and yet a straight back.
Not trying too hard and falling into the receiving and letting go of your breath.
Your breath is soft and slow.
As you inhale,
It's like drinking in the oxygen from around you.
Receiving all of that nourishment and the exhale is a gentle sway,
Swinging back,
Or receiving into this body.
And with gentle ease,
We're letting go of what does not serve you.
Not trying too hard with this breath,
We're just watching it and witnessing.
And with your breath,
You notice that you're bringing your awareness into this body.
Saying hello and good morning to the body.
Feeling a tremendous gratitude for our physical form.
And we're going to bring your awareness to your lower dantian.
The lower dantian is about two inches below your navel.
And you find that your breathing is taking place here at your lower dantian.
So you're inhaling just below the navel.
And you're exhaling just below the navel.
They call it Tai Chi breathing.
When we're inhaling from the front of your body and the sides and the back of your body.
Inhaling all of this energy to that point below your navel.
And then when you exhale,
Exhaling out to the front and the back and the sides in every direction out from that point below your navel.
As you're inhaling into your lower dantian,
You're receiving nourishment from the universe.
You're inhaling earth chi and heaven chi.
All of these different qualities of chi,
Of life force,
Are being inhaled into your lower dantian.
And this is where we fuel your physical body.
We fuel your organs,
Your tissues,
The organ communication.
And with every exhale you're creating a bubble around you.
So we're inhaling heaven and earth chi to fuel our lower dantian.
And we're exhaling and reaching outward with this bubble around you.
It expands out to the front and the back and the sides of you creating this beautiful boundary.
This space where on the inside is your energy and on the outside is the world.
We're receiving into the lower dantian.
And then we're fluffing up our energy,
Becoming expansive,
Expanding your energy outward.
We're fueling your energy body with the inhale.
And we're reaching out and touching all of the 10,
000 things outside of yourself.
We're interacting with the world around you from the space of your own energy,
Your own strength.
They say that the lower dantian is our source of motivation.
So on the inhaling breath you're really bringing so much life force,
Chi,
Energy into your lower dantian.
You're bringing the focus and the power and and your strength into that lower dantian.
And on the exhale you're taking that energy and you're expanding your own energy outward until it touches the world.
Your motivation begins with you and your vibrant energy and then how your vibrancy interacts with the world.
We can't motivate if we don't have a vibrant self.
And once we have that vibrant self we can create and manifest with all of the 10,
000 things.
Witnessing the ebb and flow of energy drawing inward to the lower dantian,
Expanding outward.
And we do the same thing but moving upward towards the heart center,
Bringing your awareness to your heart but at the center of the body,
Right behind the breastbone.
This is the space of your middle dantian.
So as you inhale you're bringing energy into the middle dantian.
And as you exhale you're expanding this bubble,
Expanding your energy within this bubble.
Middle dantian is the home of your breath.
Of your chi,
The energy that flows in your meridians.
It is your life force.
The middle dantian is the home of your human kindness,
Your compassion,
Your unconditional love.
There's a lightness and a levity.
This isn't about the physical body anymore.
This is about your energy,
Your vibration,
Who you are.
And with every inhale you're receiving earth and heaven chi directly into the middle dantian.
Here at your heart,
Really fueling and nourishing your kindness,
Your compassion.
And with every exhale you're expanding your energy outward to the front and the back and the sides.
And touching the world from the space of kindness and compassion.
It's like you're doing a workout right now.
You're bringing all the focus into this heart center,
This middle dantian.
And then you're flexing your muscles as you send love and compassion outward.
Some people just send all of their love and compassion outward,
But they never take that deep breath to also receive.
So we're really receiving fuel nourishment from the heaven and earth.
We're not alone.
We don't have to come up with this energy at our heart by ourselves.
And once you've filled your own bucket,
You can exhale.
Expanding outward.
Interacting with every situation from this space of compassion,
Kindness.
We must fill ourselves first.
What you might notice is that as you're inhaling this earth chi and heaven chi at the heart,
You may find that judgments start to soften.
Expectations soften.
And as they soften,
Your heart grows stronger.
And your vibration reaches outward further and further.
You might notice a playfulness in your space.
As your kindness and compassion grow with more strength,
You reach out into the 10,
000 things and find that sometimes people are negative or they come to you with big emotions.
And when you're feeling strong in your own heart,
In your own life force,
There's a playfulness.
You notice that that is not part of you.
The negativity,
The anxiety,
The big emotions.
So you're able to interact with kindness without taking it on.
Bringing your awareness up to the center of your head,
Your upper dantian.
And we're doing the same breath.
We're inhaling at the center of your head,
Bringing heaven and earth chi into the center of your head.
And you're exhaling outward in all directions,
Expanding your energy.
The upper dantian is all about your spirit.
It's about the light that is within you.
The upper dantian is your wisdom center.
It's the space where we can trust our inner knowing.
And as you inhale at your upper dantian,
You're inhaling the wisdom of the universe.
The wisdom of the earth and nature and what is.
The wisdom of the heavens.
All of the spiritual guidance.
The coincidences.
With every inhale here at the center of your head,
You're bringing in all of the wisdom of the universe.
And it swirls around in the center of your head.
Mixing with your wisdom.
Your human wisdom.
And here at the center of your head,
You find that universal wisdom is mixing with your intellectual mind with your logic and your rationale,
Your knowing based on the past,
The planning for the future.
And this inhale of universal wisdom is bringing a peace,
A peace and calm,
Trust and faith that we don't have to try so hard or think so hard or know.
We can simply trust our inner knowing and trust our connection to the light,
To the spirit.
With so much inhaling here at the center of the head,
We find that your wisdom center is being empowered.
It's growing larger and stronger.
And you find that as you exhale,
You're filling up this bubble around you with wisdom.
To the front and the back,
The sides,
Above and below.
Wisdom is filling your energy field.
And at the edge of your field,
It's touching the 10,
000 things.
So that as you interact with the world around you,
You do so with the wisdom to trust your inner knowing,
To trust your spirit.
Your wisdom center is all about light.
It's the light within every single cell of your body.
And that is the wisdom of that cell.
It's how your body communicates through light.
That light is the divine part of you.
So as we empower this wisdom center,
The upper dantien,
We are empowering the divine within you.
And we connect the three energy centers in the body.
We connect to the upper,
Middle,
And lower dantien through your central channel.
The central channel runs through your tailbone,
Up your spine,
All the way to the crown of your head.
The central channel goes all the way up to the distant stars.
And all the way down to the center of the earth.
Running through us.
Taking a deep breath.
And as you exhale,
Exhale down out through your tailbone,
All the way down into the earth,
To the core of the earth.
And then inhaling the core of the earth up into your body.
Going back and forth with the exhale down to the center of the earth.
With the inhale up into the body.
Feeling connected to this physical world.
And now inhaling and exhaling up into the sky.
All the way to the distant stars.
And you're inhaling the light of the stars into this body.
And exhaling to connect all the way up.
From the crown of your head.
You notice this channel running up and down your spine.
Connecting you above and below.
And in this channel it touches each of the three dantiens.
The central channel runs through your upper dantien.
Gathering wisdom.
And pulling it downward to the heart.
So that your compassionate heart has wisdom involved.
You don't have to just give it all away.
You can also follow your intuition.
This central channel is gathering your compassion.
And connecting it downward into your lower dantien.
So that when you act with vitality.
Act with motivation.
You're still aligned with your own heart.
You're aligned with your loving nature.
And you're guided by wisdom.
You're following your lower dantien energy.
That vitality upward to the heart.
Bringing the vitality and excitement to all that you choose to manifest.
And up to the center of the head.
Bringing vitality and action to your wisdom.
To your knowing.
Simply witnessing the integration of your three dantiens with each other.
Flowing up and down the central channel.
Guiding each other.
Supporting each other.
And we're going to bring our awareness back to the lower dantien.
To the wisdom just below the navel.
And you can feel how your vitality and motivation are connected.
To your compassion and wisdom.
And we simply return to that tai chi breath.
Inhaling at the lower dantien.
Exhaling with this expansiveness.
Spreading your wings.
Occupying your space.
Interacting with the world and the ten thousand things.
With vitality and compassion and wisdom.
Feeling one with the universe.
Feeling supported and nourished.
By the universe.
Setting the intention that you'll move forward in life.
From this space.
Of integration.
Of strength.
Of expansiveness.
