It is safe to relax.
This meditation teaches how and why it is okay to step away from worried thoughts and allow yourself to find calmness.
Strength and capability become available as we gently find our way into relaxation and away from stress.
We get to feel reassured as we breathe softly to nourish the body and the heart.
Take your time,
Breathing in your own intimate rhythm.
Imagine all the people listening and meditating with you and me.
All of them finding sanctuary from the stress of the day together here in this shared imagined place we create.
Helping each other together through different times and spaces we meet here.
Let's remember that relaxing and letting go of thoughts is hard for everybody.
If it's hard for you,
There is nothing wrong with you.
And there is nothing to feel guilty about.
Sometimes it's not possible to relax,
That is human.
We have our ups and downs,
Just like everything else in nature.
If relaxing isn't possible now,
It will be possible later.
Becoming aware of your breath,
Releasing tension from your body.
Taking a long,
Slow,
Deep breath,
Peacefully.
Breathing in fully and exhaling fully.
Breathing in and out.
Taking our next deep breath,
Noticing how it travels silently,
Imagining it coming from the earth,
Into your feet,
Up to your legs,
Then up to your belly,
Further up to your heart,
And then circling in your brain.
Warm heartedness is carried through the body by the breath and spreads through you.
It is a love that provides alleviation of the pain in your day.
Taking one more long,
Soothing,
Slow,
Deep breath,
Breathing in fully and exhaling fully.
Breathing in and out.
Safely relaxing,
Letting go of thoughts and stress.
How is it safe to find relaxation from thoughts?
Relaxation brings us into safety,
Because as we relax,
We feel more capability,
We are stronger.
As we connect with relaxation and strength,
There is more room for fresh and wise thoughts to run through our lives.
Inspiration,
Flow,
Creativity,
Those are the ones included in fresh and wise thoughts.
Those are the ones who bring us solutions to real life problems,
Unlike stress,
Which is limiting our ability to think clearly and solve issues.
It is wise to hold our stressful thoughts lightly and not to place big importance on them,
As they are holding back the skills we naturally have for dealing with reality.
When your emotions are signaling distress,
You can ignore everything you're thinking.
There's no solution or real problem to be found in our thoughts when our emotions are signaling distress.
It's an unreliable voice calling you into a fake problem posing as reality.
What is reality?
There is no quote-unquote reality as it is or as it should be,
Because reality seems different to each person.
Each person's thoughts put together a different picture of what reality is.
Realize that you are thinking about things,
And other people are thinking about things.
The things are not the cause of our stress,
But we are thinking in a way which makes us feel anxious,
Insecure,
And hopeless.
Our meditation is coming to an end.
