Hi,

You are invited to find a comfortable and balanced position.

Are you comfortable?

Let's begin to relax by breathing.

The breath nourishes the body and the heart.

Breathing in your natural rhythm.

Think of all the people listening to this meditation,

Including you and me.

Breathing together through different times and spaces,

Sharing this soothing moment.

Each in their own moment and together in spirit.

We all struggle with the difficulty to experience self-kindness.

There is nothing wrong with you and there is nothing to feel guilty about.

Taking a long,

Slow,

Deep breath.

Peacefully breathing in fully and exhaling fully.

In and out.

During our next deep breath,

Noticing how it travels silently through your body.

The breath starts in your brain,

Fills your heart,

Goes to your belly,

Visits your legs.

The breath carries oxygen and compassion with it and spreads through you.

This compassion is here to comfort any difficult experiences you may have had or will have later.

Let's take one more deep breath like that before we continue our meditation.

Taking a long,

Soothing,

Slow,

Deep breath.

Breathing in fully and then exhaling fully.

My name is Lihi and I'm happy to be here with you.

Thank you for choosing this meditation and me.

Let's talk about self-kindness.

Noticing what your thoughts are saying.

Is the content kind?

Did you say that to a friend you love?

If your mind is talking unkindly to you,

Then it is not the voice to listen to.

Let's take a step back and pull the curtain on the human functionality.

Thoughts flow,

Like a train going by,

And we have the ability to notice them and not take them seriously.

That is one way of practicing self-kindness and we can feel safe doing that.

It might seem irresponsible,

But it actually is responsible.

Being kind to ourselves means feeling safe.

Being kind to ourselves means feeling strong and capable.

When we are feeling safe,

Strong and capable,

We tend to make better choices.

And as a by-product,

We live better.

In this meditation,

We rest in this premise.

We want to find a way to encourage our self-kindness and compassion.

The whole point in this lifetime is to be kind to yourself.

It is not up to other people,

It is up to you to allow a focus on self-kindness.

Now you might ask,

How will you find a way that works for you,

Of being kind to yourself?

Do you enjoy meditation and focusing on breathing to replenish your energies?

Then coming back here to do this is a nice way of finding your self-kindness.

Time after time.

Your meditation is coming to an end.

Before we finish,

You are invited to do some breathing together again.

Taking a long,

Slow,

Deep breath,

Peacefully,

Breathing in fully into the belly and exhaling fully in and out.

I want to thank you for spending this time with me.
