Hi,

Welcome to this guided meditation that is meant to give you some safety and peace of mind.

My name is Leon Gebelein and I hope I'll be able to support you tonight.

I am here for you and you are safe with me.

You are protected here and right now in this moment.

This is a safe space.

You are free to close your eyes if you feel safe enough to do so.

There is a gift in us that all of us have,

Given to us by God,

The Holy Spirit,

The universe,

Nature,

Whatever you would like to call it.

Many people don't recognize it but all of us have a gift of protection.

There is a bubble that surrounds each one of us,

It has whatever color you'd like.

We have the ability to expand and shrink this bubble to our desire.

External things may try to push against this bubble and enter our space.

The feeling of unsafety usually arises when the bubble has shrunken to be smaller than our physical body.

So close your eyes and think of that bubble.

Think of its color,

Imagine it floating just above your skin,

Coating your entire body in a warm,

Secure feeling.

It pulls the energy from our heart,

The heart is its source.

From there it grows to encompass our entire body.

Really focus on that bubble as we're going to do a little breathing exercise.

With each inhale it's going to expand a little,

Just like a balloon,

With each exhale it's going to return to its previous size.

So the first time I'm going to do it with you and afterwards I'm just going to count for you.

We're going to inhale for 4 seconds,

Hold it for 7 and exhale for 11 seconds.

It's a bit of a difficult breathing exercise but I need all your focus on this.

Remember to think of the bubble.

Let your breathing return to normal now,

It should have significantly decreased its speed now.

Now take your pointing and middle finger and tap on your chest 5 times.

Now tap on the spot where nose bridge and forehead meet between the eyes 5 times.

Tap below your left eye 5 times.

Tap below your right eye 5 times.

And finally tap between your eyes again for 5 times.

Now open your eyes and focus on one spot in your view.

When I snip my fingers,

You may close them and fall deeper into relaxation.

Let's begin.

Open them.

You are safe here,

You fall deeper and deeper into relaxation,

Your body has become heavy.

Now open your eyes again,

You are protected.

Open your eyes once more and focus.

Now finally close your eyes,

You are safe here,

You are protected.

This is a safe space.

I will count down and each time we will repeat those 3 affirmations.
