Proof That You Can Learn Tarot Intuitively

I'm going to give you an example of how intuitively learning the tarot can really work and why it's helpful. And this is an example of the previous recording which is called Learn Tarot and Self-Trust in 13 Minutes. And so this track is here just as a supplemental track to show you exactly how it works. Because this morning I decided I was going to try out the track for myself. And obviously I'm a professional tarot reader so I know a little bit about the cards already. But the whole point of intuitively learning tarot is that we're there to gain a completely new experience of the card, Not just to deepen our understanding of the card itself, But also to gain a new perspective on something in our lives that we are struggling with, Which is the whole point of tarot. If I was here just to get good at learning tarot, What would be the point? It's about getting better at trusting ourselves. It's about making better decisions in our lives. And ultimately it's about being able to sink in so that we can trust the process and stop fighting it, Which is, Let's face it, What causes most of the suffering in my life and yours? So I shuffled. I picked out the Six of Swords. I threw away everything I think I know about the Six of Swords already. And I did what it says in that meditation, Which is I held the card in front of me and I just let whatever I saw jump out at me. And I saw that the person who's steering the boat has the same haircut as a friend of mine. I didn't know if that was important. I noticed the kid has the same kind of hair as my kid, Who is, He's nearly three. I saw that the woman in the boat, I think it's a woman, Doesn't matter, Was wrapped in a yellow blanket. And my son has a blanket exactly that color and he calls it his special blanket. And that was important for me because as somebody who listens to the Course in Miracles, The word special relates to the word special relationship, Which is how the Course describes relationships that we are using for our own ego purposes instead of for actual love and connection purposes. So straight away I knew that maybe this card had something to do with my son and how I have made some sort of special relationship, I. E. A dysfunctional relationship with him. So then I did what the meditation told me to do or the track told me to do, Which is I put the card down. I said a little prayer along the lines of please help me to let go of what I think I know about this card so that I can have a new experience. Please help me to see the truth. Then I picked the card back up just to see what else struck me. And the second time I looked at it, I really focused in on the swords and I could see that those swords were barring the woman from really seeing anything and that they were in front of her face. Yeah, Just stopping her from seeing almost like a veil of swords. So I then again, I did what the track said, Which was I paused the track. I picked up my pen and my journal and I allowed the pen to just write for me, Which is called automatic writing. And I asked the question, What else do I need to know about this card? And this is what the universe wrote back. It said, This card is here for your learning around the question of parenting. You see this person, Your son, As special and so you are treating him as a way to be saved. And not as a way for you to grow and to love. That hurt. The way to flip that is to regard the swords in front of your face. And instead of looking at your son through the veil of those swords, You can start to hand those swords over to me. And you know, By me, I understood my higher power, The universe, Loving spirit, Whatever you want to call it. Each sword you hand to me will allow vision to come through. Each time you are willing to admit that you don't see him makes it more likely that you will be able to find a way to see him at last. The waters are calm on the other side of those swords. So like I said, That kind of hurt reading that, But I get it. I really get it. And it's definitely underlining a lesson that the universe has been trying to teach me this week. And so then I did again, What the previous track told me to do, Which is I listened to the guided meditation. It's funny listening to a guided meditation in your own voice. And during the meditation period, The figure that came towards me was my higher power, Who I choose to call M. So M showed up and told me to notice that the child figure in this card is barely visible behind the parental figure. And she said to me, You have never really seen your son. And then she directed me to notice that it was somebody else guiding and directing the boat, Not the person sitting next to the child. So in other words, It's not the parents steering the ship. And then she said to me, Leave me to steer the ship and just focus on your job, Which is to pull the swords out from in front of your face and then give them to me. So this is obviously a lesson that's specifically aimed at me, So you may not have gotten much from this. But what I'm trying to do is just show you that even though I have all kinds of previous interpretations of this Six of Swords card, I heard a very specific message today that I definitely would not have heard if I just pulled this card and, You know, Looked at the guidebook or googled it or even pulled from knowledge that I had myself about the card. This is a process by which you can gain not only new insight into the card, But the exact message that you need to get in this moment. And the card ultimately is obviously just a prop for you to get that. So I hope this has been helpful to you.
