
Control Room Practice For Menopause

This meditation uses the imagery of a Control Room to empower you to reset, rebalance, and reconnect with your body during menopause. Kerry will gently guide you inside your subconscious mind to a peaceful inner space where you can gently adjust the ‘dials’ and ‘settings’ that influence how you experience symptoms like hot flashes, anxiety, brain fog, or sleep disturbances. Okay,
Just taking a moment to make yourself completely comfortable,
Placing some cushions around you,
Perhaps propping up your head or if you're lying down beneath your knees,
Making sure you're warm enough.
Allow your hands to rest loosely,
Your legs to be in a position that feels easy.
And when you're ready,
Just allow your eyes to gently close if you haven't already.
Or if you prefer to keep them open,
You can just find somewhere to lower your gaze,
Gently resting your eyes.
As you begin to notice your breath,
No need to change it in any way,
Simply observing as you breathe in and breathe out.
Allowing each breath to become just a little slower,
A little deeper.
And as you exhale,
You might notice the body letting go,
The shoulders softening,
The jaw releasing,
The mind beginning to settle like dust,
Gently drifting down in a shaft of light.
And now in your mind's eye,
Imagine you're standing at the top of a gentle staircase with 10 steps,
Each one wide and safe,
Leading you deeper and deeper into a place of calm focus.
With each step you take,
You can allow your mind to drift further inwards,
Into a place where change becomes easier,
Where your thoughts become clearer.
I'm going to count down from 10 to 1 and with each number,
You can take a step down,
Feeling more and more relaxed,
More and more deeply settled.
So 10,
Stepping down now.
9,
A little deeper.
8,
Feeling really safe and supported.
7,
Calm and quiet.
6,
Going further inwards.
5,
Halfway down now.
4,
More peaceful with each and every breath.
3,
Almost at the bottom.
2,
Drifting,
Floating.
And 1,
Stepping into a deep state of inner stillness.
And as you arrive at the bottom of the staircase,
You notice a softly lit corridor ahead.
Somehow it feels familiar,
As if you've been here before,
Perhaps in a dream or in a part of your mind you don't often visit.
You walk along this corridor feeling instinctively safe.
As you make your way through,
You enjoy the rhythm of your walk,
The sensation of the earth under your feet,
Breathing deeply,
Becoming more and more relaxed with each step.
And at the end of this corridor,
You see a door.
And on the door is a simple sign,
Control room.
So just taking a moment to become aware of the magnitude of this inner space.
This inner space where all the system of your mind and body are managed.
Your habits,
Your emotions,
Your physical comfort,
Your energy levels.
Everything has a setting,
A dial,
A switch.
And when you open the door,
You step into a large,
Comfortable room.
And you look around,
And you find that everything is organized perfectly,
Labeled clearly.
This is the control center of your mind.
So just look around and see and sense and feel the magnificence of this place.
Notice all the different dials,
Knobs,
Levers,
Buttons,
And controls.
Notice all the panels of lights,
Lights of different colors,
Different brightnesses.
Might look to you like the inside of a TARDIS or airport traffic control.
Or something else entirely.
But you become aware of all of these levers and controls and buttons and the organization.
Those labels and signs allow you to know immediately what each control is for.
So just allow your attention to move to that panel of lights,
Which is connected to your reproductive function.
Walk over to that panel and notice the response dial and the brightness or dimness of the energy and communications going to that area.
This is the default response that has been left in place.
And you now have the ability to change that.
Using the control knob or lever,
You can set the dials and circuits to the levels that are most suitable for you now,
As you enter your wisdom years.
And you don't even have to know how to do this yourself because your unconscious mind already knows how.
And as you change each dial setting,
The communications for that change will speed to that area of need.
And the changes you've made will happen if they are for your best wellness and good,
Your best health,
Your highest good.
So firstly,
Notice the dial labeled progesterone levels.
Become aware of the current setting on the dial.
Make any adjustments that instinctively feel right for you to be in the most healthy state possible right now.
And know that as you make those adjustments,
The communications for that change,
The updates to this programming are speeding to this area and the changes you've made are already happening.
You can notice as you use each control knob how the control circuits to every area change color,
Intensity,
As you change settings.
It's good,
Isn't it,
To be more in control of your own needs.
So now notice the dial labeled estrogen levels.
Become aware of the current setting on the dial.
And make any adjustments that you instinctively feel are necessary for you to be in the most healthy state possible right now.
And as you make those adjustments,
The communications for that change,
The updates to this programming are now speeding to this area.
And the changes you've made are already happening.
Allow your unconscious mind to direct you to any other hormones that are in need of balance now.
And make any adjustments that you instinctively feel are necessary for you to be in the most healthy state possible right now.
And as you make those adjustments,
The communications for that change,
The updates to this programming are speeding to this area.
And the changes you've made are already happening.
So now notice the dial labeled hot flushes.
What is the current setting on that dial?
Make any adjustments you instinctively feel are necessary for you to stabilize your temperature right now.
And as you make those adjustments,
The communications for that change,
The updates to this programming are speeding to this area.
And now speeding to this area and the changes you've made are already happening.
And you can become aware of the controls responsible for your emotional levels.
Again,
Making adjustments that you instinctively feel will soothe and balance any emotional turbulence that you may be feeling.
And as you make those adjustments,
The communications for that change,
The updates to this programming are speeding to this area and the changes you've made are already happening.
And allow yourself now to become aware of any other controls that need to be adjusted for you to be in the healthiest state possible.
Mind,
Body and soul at this time of harvest,
Where you can reap the gifts and joys of life and embrace your wisdom years.
And as you make those adjustments,
The communications for that change,
The updates to that programming are speeding to this area.
And again,
Those changes are already happening.
And you can ask your highest self now,
Is it all right with the unconscious to now continue with these changes and carrying out these new responses?
And if not,
What do you need to allow the changes to take place?
Let's take a moment to ask the different parts of your control room what needs to happen to improve the situation or what belief needs to change to a more current,
More workable belief to make this desired change.
And if the response is a yes,
It's okay to make the changes.
Fantastic.
Is there any other area that needs your attention where you need a positive change?
If yes,
Go to the control knob and repeat.
Again,
Noticing the color changes,
The intensity changes as you change those settings.
And you can continue repeating these control knob settings,
Changes to other areas that need your attention.
And now it's time to leave this special place,
But you will be able to access this control room at any time you wish to.
So moving back through the doorway as it closes securely behind you.
Walking back up the stairs.
Making your way back up the stairs as you can become curious about what changes you'll notice in your day-to-day life as a result of the adjustments you've just made.
And in a moment,
You're going to be returning to normal waking consciousness as the unconscious mind continues the process of change in all the important areas associated with your desires here.
So just beginning to take some deeper,
More energizing breaths.
Wriggling fingers and toes,
Perhaps stretching if that feels comfortable for you.
Seeing yourself now in the future,
Participating in your daily tasks,
Overcoming whatever obstacles you had before you entered the control room of your mind today.
And you can be confident that the changes you make will serve you well.
And remind yourself to always go back and make adjustments whenever you wish.
Coming back into the room and opening your eyes when you feel ready to do so.
