
Feel It Heal It

Perhaps you're feeling sad today, or maybe there's healing you want to do or a breakthrough you're ready to have? If this is where you are today, this practice will aid and support your self-healing process protected and enhanced by your Angels, Guides, and Beings of the Highest Light. This practice is created to re-embody your weary soul, to move and remove energetic blocks in and on all levels of the body, so a little space to move around is encouraged.

Perhaps you're feeling a little sad today,
Or maybe like there's some healing you want to do,
Or a breakthrough that you're ready to have.
If this is where you are today,
Welcome to your practice.
I know it wasn't easy to get here today.
I see you,
And I see your effort.
Today I'm inviting you to fully feel your sadness and to listen to the messages that it has for you.
And by doing so,
Allowing yourself to let your sadness move through your entire body.
But let's just begin by checking in with the body,
Finding a comfortable seat.
You can be in a chair,
Seated on a cushion,
Or just lying down.
As you warm up to your meditation,
I just want you to allow your body to respond accordingly.
Allow your spine to lengthen,
Your shoulders to relax down and back,
And your heart to be open and slightly forward.
Continuing to check in with this body awareness,
Let's just bring our attention into your throat.
Your jaw.
Your neck.
Your head.
And we're just going to take a few deep breaths to settle us in right here.
Deep inhale in.
I want you to hold this inhale.
Two,
Three,
Four,
And then release gently,
Slowly now.
Good.
And again,
Let's just take a deep inhale in,
Filling the lungs completely all the way up.
And hold,
Two,
Three,
Four,
And now release gently,
Slowly.
Good.
Take two more rounds of this breath in your own time.
Beautiful.
We're going to start this practice by calling in your angels and spirit guides of the highest love light frequency to come be with you now,
And then to hold this sacred space,
This healing and transformation container by placing you in a shimmering bubble of protective white light.
Now,
Keeping your awareness on your body,
Allow it to be stabilized here as you start to open up.
Fine tune your subtle awareness.
Your body opens,
Your mind opens,
Your emotions open,
And your heart.
Today,
You are just the witness of your experience,
My love.
So let's stop trying to perfect ourselves.
Let's just try to observe with curiosity exactly what it's like to be you right now.
What's going on in your internal state that is consuming so much of your precious energy?
Notice your sadness,
For sadness is one of the most natural emotions we can have.
Even though we are not taught this in society or by our parents,
Sadness is normal.
What is not normal is trying to always be the person smiling.
The one always cracking the jokes and making sure everyone around them is always feeling safe,
Loved,
Happy and supported,
But never giving yourself the same grace.
What's interesting is that sadness is one of the most normal things we can experience.
And yet so often we suppress it,
We reject it,
We deny it.
So over this meditation,
We're going to explore allowing yourself to fully turn towards that sadness and to feel it as fully as you possibly can.
Because when we allow ourselves to feel our emotions without judging them or trying to figure out their causal route,
We make incredible space for them to share their wisdom and to receive their lessons.
And so this healing shifts us out of resistance and into resilience and the flow of the universe.
So just notice,
Where do your emotions live in your body today?
Does your heart feel heavy?
Do your shoulders roll forward with the weight of the world on your back?
Is there a tension somewhere?
Perhaps your belly feels knotted up or maybe you're squeezing your pelvic floor.
Let's do a gentle body scan now,
Starting at our toes and slowly moving upward.
Just observing as you gently roll your attention across your body.
Looking at your ankles,
Your calves,
Your knees,
Thighs,
Hips,
Low back,
Belly,
Ribs,
Middle back,
Upper back,
Arms,
Head,
Neck,
Shoulders.
Just noticing.
And when you find something that calls your attention,
When you find something that draws your awareness a little more,
I want you to turn towards whatever that is.
Fully welcome it in the way I welcomed you into your space.
You can welcome this emotion into this space.
And as you do so,
They will expand,
Rise and take up more space in your body.
And don't allow yourself to shift out of observation mode or fall into a memory trying to locate the root or slip into judgment.
We're still just observing the grief,
The sadness.
It has many flavors.
So what's yours today?
Keep your breath deep and round and the belly full of moving air.
And wherever your awareness is being drawn in your body,
I want you to go there even more.
What does it feel like?
What qualities does this emotion have?
Is it sticky,
Pokey?
Maybe it's scratchy.
Is there a color,
A shape or a pattern that it's trying to communicate to you?
Keep asking yourself what is happening in your body.
And if your attention wonders,
As it does,
Gently bring it back.
Observe,
Witness,
Come back to the breath.
Come back to the sensations in your body.
Facing your emotions,
Allowing them to bloom,
Expand and take up room.
If this is the first time you've ever done this practice,
Your body might feel inclined to move.
And you can invite that shift,
That adjustment to allow more comfort in your practice.
Or if your shoulders feel heavy,
You might want to curl up and curl over into a little ball.
And if that's your impulse,
I want to invite you to fully go with that right now.
Just let yourself exaggerate the feeling so that you can be with that feeling even more.
And keep taking round,
Full breaths with the belly.
And if tears want to come,
Let them come.
Ask your sadness what it has to say to you today.
Does it have a message for you?
What would it like you to know?
And listen to the sadness as if you were listening to a best friend.
Lend it your ear.
Maybe your sadness needs a hug.
Maybe it needs your attention.
And perhaps as you're sitting more and more with your sadness,
Some memories start to arise in images.
The messages might not come in words.
They might come in feelings,
Sensations,
Images or memories.
They might come in colors or shapes.
Whatever comes up for you,
Whatever's happening in your body right now,
Turn towards it.
Notice it.
Open yourself to it.
Allow yourself to be fully with your emotions and listen to what they say.
Again,
We're not judging ourselves or the emotions or the memories or the images or the shapes.
We're just remaining open and receptive.
We're just creating a safety net for them to fall into because we are strong enough to hold this pain.
As we deepen,
You might find there's a movement or a position your body wants to take and I encourage you to go with that.
Perhaps your body wants to sway side to side or rock back and forth.
Maybe your hands want to hold your body,
Hug your body,
Feel your body in some way,
In some gentle soothing touch.
Our emotions are energy in motion.
So my hope for you is that you allow this energy,
This emotion to move through you.
We all have various ways of quieting or shutting off our emotions,
Of suppressing them and showing up for life anyway,
Of numbing them or avoiding them and powering through what we have to do to get through the day.
But this is the moment for you to do the exact opposite.
This is the moment for you to peel off that layer,
To feel it so you can heal it,
To allow it to move through your body.
Deep inhales,
Slow exhales.
Suppressed sadness and grief and any emotion really can take root in our bodies as disease,
Illness,
Physical tension.
So now I want to encourage you to let it move,
Speak to you.
What does the location of this emotion have to share with you?
Your emotions have so much wisdom.
Your bodily sensations have so much they're trying to communicate to you.
Listen to them even deeper.
Our body wants to tell us how to heal,
How to nourish and how to provide more pleasure and comfort in our lives.
This is how we start that process,
Just by acknowledging what's going on,
Witnessing reality as it is,
Without trying to change it.
Take a deep breath in and with your exhale,
I just want you to visualize all the emotions swirling around in your body that you're feeling.
See all this energy flowing down,
Down through your body,
Out the bottom of your hips,
Your sit bone,
Your spine,
Like roots down into the earth.
Feel the weight,
The gravity of this energy and notice it starting to be pulled downward.
Set the intention to move this energy down,
Down,
Down out of your body,
Allowing gravity to assist your healing.
Take over and pull this energy down into the earth.
Take another deep breath in and again,
With your exhale,
Allow all of that energy to flow down into the earth beneath you,
Down into those roots.
Keep repeating this as you breathe,
Allowing your powerful,
Slow exhales to be that nudge,
Your system needed to allow your energy to anchor you all the way down,
Down,
Down,
Down,
Down into the earth.
Allow that energy to go even lower,
Even deeper,
Even further into the earth,
As deep as you can possibly go.
Perhaps you can even reach the very center of the earth and be held by mamma gaia.
Through that channel,
Just allow the tears and the heaviness,
The sadness and the grief to continue to flow down.
Mother earth can hold your pain.
You are safe to relax into her warm,
Loving heart.
She will never abandon you.
Mother earth is strong enough to hold your grief.
So just allow her to be with you now,
To take this from you and to alchemize this,
Knowing that you are not alone.
You are never alone.
Calling in your guides of the highest light and resonance to assist you in releasing any further stuck energy,
Lower density attachments or other blockages,
Known or unknown,
Ready to be released and alchemized at this time.
Let yourself keep feeling the shift in energy even more fully,
Even more deeply,
Even more exaggerated,
And keep receiving all the messages,
The lessons,
And the gifts your sadness has for you,
As you feel your sadness create more and more space,
As the sadness drains down into the earth.
Release what happens in your body,
How you open up,
Expand.
The sadness is a part of you.
You cannot be whole without your sadness.
Allow yourself to be whole.
As you feel your emotions shift and open up in this space,
And you continue to let the grief float down into mamakaya,
I want you to stay here as long as you need,
Allowing this energy to flow back and forth in a loving river with Mother Earth as she alchemizes And when you're ready,
Take a deep breath in and a big sigh out the mouth.
Stick your tongue out.
Breathe it out.
And a couple more deep breaths just like that in through the nose.
And just sigh it out.
Give yourself a hug.
You did great work today.
Stay here as long as you would like.
