I'm Kate Soli Silva,
And I'm thankful to be sharing a five minute meditation for possibility with you.
To begin,
Find a comfortable position,
Whether seated or laying down.
If seated,
Place your feet on the floor and make sure your back is supported.
Begin to settle and close your eyes.
Start to tune into your breathing,
Inhaling deeply and letting the air fill your lungs and travel down into your belly.
Slowly exhale and begin to relax.
Again,
Breathe deep as you continue to unwind and connect to more calm and the gift of stillness.
Here,
Begin to tune into your mind.
Notice your thoughts swirling as you continue to breathe.
Let them come into focus and begin to gently let them go.
Now,
Tune into your body.
Notice any areas of constriction,
Any areas of tightness.
Breathe into those places,
Beginning to let go of any heaviness you note,
Making room for more space and more ease.
Tune into your heart and breathe deeply.
Note any tenderness in this area.
Connect deeper here,
Paying attention to where more compassion and more empathy can serve you now.
In this space of connection to your mind,
To your body and to your heart,
Let's begin to explore what can be possible for you in this next normal.
Begin to see what comes up for you when you shift out of doing and step into more being.
Turn your thoughts to reflect on the past months.
What have you noticed?
What are you learning?
Perhaps you found a new understanding.
Maybe you've reconnected to a part of yourself.
Breathe into this space and into this new awareness.
Continue to go inward and note what may no longer be serving you.
Where does your life feel heavy and out of alignment?
Breathe into an opportunity to let go,
To give yourself permission to release and make room for possibility.
What can be cleared in making room for new?
With your new awareness and space,
Tune into what is possible for you now.
Who do you see yourself becoming in this next chapter?
As certain pieces end and new beginnings start,
What is available to you now?
Begin to open your eyes and start to settle back into your body.
Take this opportunity to thank yourself for making the space to move forward with intention.
