This is a simple breathwork technique that can work beautifully with people of all ages.
It includes a little visualisation too.
So I just invite you now to get yourself comfortable.
Ground yourself wherever you are.
Just take a few nice easy breaths.
Don't force anything.
Just nice and easy.
Breathing in and breathing out.
And now I'd like you to imagine,
With your eyes closed,
Holding a mug of hot chocolate.
This hot chocolate is the tastiest,
Most delicious.
And we're going to take a breath in,
As if you are smelling this hot chocolate.
Nice and easy,
In through your nose.
And then we're going to release out through your mouth,
As if you are cooling the chocolate in your mug.
So breathe in to smell.
And out through your mouth to cool.
That's it.
Feeling that mug in your hands,
As you breathe in to smell.
And release out to cool.
