A deep healing journey to reconnect with the most innocent,

Loving and authentic part of yourself,

Your inner child.

Welcome beautiful soul.

Before we begin find a quiet comfortable space where you won't be disturbed.

You may want to sit in a relaxed position or lie down with a blanket to feel cozy and safe.

This is your time to connect with yourself,

To embrace the most tender part of you,

Your inner child.

There is no right or wrong way to experience this meditation,

Only what feels true for you.

Take a moment to close your eyes and turn your attention inward.

Let's begin.

Bring your awareness to your breath without changing anything.

Simply notice how the air moves in and out of your body.

Feel the natural rhythm of your breath,

Like waves gently rolling in and out with a tight.

Now take a deep breath in through your nose,

Filling your lungs completely.

And as you exhale through your mouth,

Release any tension in your body.

Once again,

Take a deep breath in through your nose,

Filling your lungs completely.

And exhale through your mouth,

Release any tension in your body.

And again,

Inhale deeply,

Hold for a moment.

And exhale,

Letting off any stress,

Any thoughts,

Any expectations.

One more time,

Breathe in.

Expand your belly.

And exhale,

Surrendering fully to this moment.

One more time,

In your own rhythm.

Breathe in.

Now bring your awareness to the base of your spine or the soles of your feet.

Imagine roots growing from your body,

Gently pushing through the floor and deep into the earth.

Feel yourself anchoring,

Connecting with the steady grounding energy of Mother Earth.

She's always here to support you.

Allow her warmth and strength to rise through your roots,

Flowing up into your legs,

Your torso,

Your heart and all the way to the crown of your head.

Feel the beautiful energy surrounding you,

Wrapping you in a cocoon of safety and love.

Now bring your attention to your heart center.

Imagine a warm golden light beginning to glow in the middle of your chest.

With each breath,

This light expands,

Growing bright and stronger,

Filling your entire being with that warmth and love.

Within this golden light,

There is a doorway that slowly begins to appear.

And this is a sacred portal,

A gateway leading you to meet your inner child.

You feel safe and protected.

And with the next breath in,

You take a step forward and gently open the door.

As you cross the threshold,

You find yourself in a beautiful place.

Perhaps it's a garden,

Maybe it's a childhood bedroom,

Maybe it's a beach or meadow or place you loved when you were little.

Whatever appears,

Trust that this is exactly where you need to be.

I invite you to take a look around,

To notice the colors,

To notice the textures,

The scents in the air.

Listen to the sounds around you.

Perhaps there are birds that are singing,

Maybe you hear distant water,

Maybe there is the rustling of leaves or the sound of waves,

The wind.

Whatever it is,

Embrace the experience.

And then you see them,

Your inner child,

The younger version of you.

Observe them for a moment.

How old are they?

What are they doing?

Are they playing?

Are they looking at you with curiosity?

Are they sitting quietly?

You may gently approach them,

Moving with love and kindness.

Let them notice you.

And when you're ready,

Kneel down or sit beside them,

Making sure they feel safe with your presence.

And observe them,

Maybe they need that extra hug,

Maybe they just need that kind look,

The presence of yours,

To know that they're seen,

That they're not alone.

And take a deep breath and open your heart to them.

And take that moment to reconnect to your inner child,

To remember that it exists within you.

And tell them that you see them,

That you hear them and that you're there for them.

If they're shy,

Give them their space.

If they're excited,

Let them come to you in their own time.

And allow whatever motions arise.

There's nothing you need to force.

Simply be here with them.

And you may ask them gently,

What do you need from me right now?

What is it that you want me to know?

How can I love and support you more?

You may now listen closely.

Your inner child may respond with words,

It may respond with images or even feelings.

Trust whatever comes up.

And once again,

If they need more comfort,

Offer them a warm embrace.

Hold them as long as they need.

If they need reassurance,

Tell them you're safe,

You're loved,

You're so,

So worthy,

Just as you are.

If they need to release sadness or pain,

Let them cry,

Be there,

Hold the space for them.

Let them feel seen,

Heard and accepted.

You now have that moment to embrace whatever imagery comes up and just enjoy that process with your inner child.

Once you're done,

Imagine a beautiful glowing light surrounding the both of you.

This light is unconditional love.

It's healing and protection.

Let it flow between you,

Filling any empty spaces,

Mending any wounds,

Dissolving any old fears.

Now tell your inner child,

I'm here now.

I will never leave you.

You are safe with me.

I will listen to you.

I will cherish you.

I will play with you.

I will protect you.

You're not alone anymore.

And feel the warmth of these words settling into their little heart.

Watch as their expression softens,

As they begin to trust,

To smile,

To glow in your presence.

If there's anything you wish to say to them,

Say it now.

Let them know how much you love and appreciate them.

Now take their hands,

Look into their eyes and say whatever there is on your heart.

Now thank them for being here,

For their wisdom,

For their courage to show up today.

Let them know you will return whenever they need to.

Slowly you notice the golden doorway appearing again and it is time for you to go but not to say goodbye because your inner child is always with you,

Within your heart.

One last hug,

One last moment together in the sacred space.

Then when you're ready step through the door,

Back into the golden light.

And feel yourself being gently guided back to the present moment.

Slowly bring awareness to your breath.

Feel your chest rise and fall,

The way the air flows in and out of your body.

You may gently wiggle your fingers and toes.

You may gently reconnect with the physical world.

You may take a moment to place both hands over your heart.

Feel the warmth of your own touch.

You might whisper softly to yourself,

I am whole,

I am loved,

My inner child is safe within me.

And you can repeat that once again.

I am whole,

I am loved,

My inner child is safe within me.

And if it feels right to you,

You might lie on the side,

Taking a fetal position.

Or if you're in a seated position,

Just keep breathing in and out in your own rhythm.

Slowly coming back and reconnecting to the here and now.

And when you're ready,

You can slowly open your eyes.

Thank you for taking this journey today.

Your inner child is always here,

Waiting for your love and presence.

Know that you can always return to the space whenever you need comfort,

Whenever you need joy or just healing.

With love,

With that light and with that deep gratitude,

Thank yourself for showing up today,

For taking the time to practice the connection to your inner child,

For healing,

For the journey of reconnection.

Know that you're always safe.

Know that you're always loved.

And know that you're enough.
