
Words Have Power
In this gentle affirmation practice we will choose powerful, positive words to claim our innate worth. Using affirmations as a daily ritual changes the neurological pathways within the brain setting you up for an incredible day - as well as life. Everything starts in the mind: how we speak to and about ourselves and life itself sets the tone for how we interpret EVERYTHING. Hello there and welcome back to your Friday 15,
15 minutes of relaxation and rejuvenation.
And as you know,
This is a journey of an introduction to meditation.
So in this fourth episode,
We're going to be affirming some really positive statements.
And it's a very powerful way that is even backed by science.
It's a way that we can rewire and reframe and reprogram our brain,
Our mind for success and success being you feeling you remembering your wholeness in that balance is your natural state.
We were just always taught something else by society.
So today's session,
Very beautiful,
Very soothing,
Very healing.
I'm excited to share it with you.
But just know we are literally changing your subconscious mind.
Very often we have a limited belief system.
We all do.
And we walk around living life from this space where we might have an underlying story that tells us who we are and who we are not.
And of course,
As we know,
It's a short session,
So I'm not going to go into why,
But you can Google it afterwards.
And subconscious beliefs or limiting beliefs and find your own change them to a positive present tense.
And then we keep repeating them throughout the day.
Anyhow,
My loves,
We are going to be getting started.
So find yourself into a seat or even better come to lie down,
Make yourself comfortable in the ways that you know best and go ahead and close your eyes now.
Taking a nice deep breath in.
And as you exhale,
Really just allow yourself to land.
Relaxing shoulders,
Relax the belly.
And especially now at the very beginning of your session,
Take a moment just to notice what you are still holding on to.
Notice where your mind is at right now.
Maybe there's a story,
Maybe there's something knocking on your heart or on your mind,
Trying to take your attention away.
But give yourself permission now to simply be here.
If there's something on your to-do list that needs to be done later,
You can visualize yourself writing it down on a piece of paper or even pause this recording,
Write it down and then place it to one side.
And then now noticing how your body's feeling.
Is there any body parts that's calling out to you right now?
Maybe your shoulders,
Maybe the stomach.
Noticing your knees,
Your hips,
Your spine,
Noticing your shoulders.
Just noticing the overall feel,
The overall energy of your entire being.
On your next exhale,
See if you can relax the jaw.
So try and allow for the lips to gently slide apart a little more.
Allow for the tongue to rest into the lower part of the mouth.
And on your next exhale,
Maybe even a little sigh.
The week is gone and done.
You might still have a few more hours to go,
But otherwise your working week is now gone,
So let it go.
Let's take a nice deep breath in together and a big loud sigh out.
One more deep breath in.
Exhale it out.
I invite you now just to bring all of your awareness into your heart.
Take a moment just to meet your heart.
Maybe place a hand on the center of your chest if that feels good.
Relax your shoulders.
And again,
Take another deep breath in.
As you exhale,
Really sink into the embrace upon which you are sitting.
So whether that's your seat or sofa or whether you're lying down,
Just really land,
Ground,
Release.
And again,
Just a general reminder,
Reminding yourself,
I am exactly where I need to be.
Why don't you say it with me?
I am exactly where I need to be.
One more time.
I am exactly where I need to be.
Take a super deep breath in and hold the breath,
Hold the breath,
Hold the breath,
Hold the breath,
Hold the breath.
At the tip top of this inhalation,
Place anything that's no longer serving you,
A limiting belief system,
An old pattern,
An old habit,
Old relationship,
Anything at all that's no longer serving you.
In three,
In two,
In one,
Big sigh and let it go.
Normal breath in.
Cleansing sigh out so the new can begin.
Now,
Take a moment to really thank yourself for choosing this beautiful healing time for you now.
Take a moment just to say those words in your heart.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you.
And as you relax your shoulders,
Relax the belly,
Placing the hands wherever it feels good,
Maybe on the stomach or keep them there on the heart.
And take a moment now just to set an intention for your practice.
What brought you to this little oasis today?
Why did you choose to come?
What do you need in your life right now?
And just set an intention,
Call it in,
Ask for it and it is given.
And then imagine it's already done.
Whatever it is you're asking for,
Whatever help,
Support or an energy you would like to feel,
Just feel that it's already done now.
Already done.
And then relax the shoulders,
Relax the jaw and allow my voice to be a dandle echo in the background now.
Allow the following words to be medicine,
A tonic,
Life nectar,
A healing juice for your mind,
Body and soul.
I trust in life.
Relax your shoulders.
Life loves me and life supports me.
All is well in my life.
Take a deep breath in.
As you exhale,
Let go of any part of you that doesn't agree with those words.
I trust in life.
Life loves me and life supports me.
All is well in my life.
And now the deep,
Deep,
Deep,
Deep breath in,
Breathing into the belly,
Hold it.
Big sigh out,
Let go.
I trust in life.
Life loves me and life supports me.
All is well in my life.
Breathe it in.
And as you exhale,
Allow the stress to melt away from the shoulders.
Allow for your bones to get heavy.
Release,
Release,
Release.
Sing in,
Let go.
And now for the next few moments,
I invite you to repeat those words either silently in your heart or out loud.
I'll give you a few moments,
But I'm here holding the space for you and I'll remind you of the words again.
Remember these words are your medicine,
The tonic that your mind,
Body and heart are longing for.

Take another breath in and another breath out.

Placing one hand to the heart,
One hand to the belly.
Just take a moment to notice your stomach.
Give your stomach some warmth,
Some love.
Maybe massage your stomach a little bit.
Rub your hands.
Send some love into your digestive system.
Send some love into your heart.
Give your heart a little hug,
A little squeeze.
Send the corners of your mouth up towards your cheekbones.
Just sit with me here in this radiant,
Smiling energy just for a moment.
Really provide some comfort,
Some tenderness and some compassion to your heart and to your body,
To this beautiful journey that is your life.
Taking a moment here to just really thank yourself for everything that you do,
Everything you've been through and everything that you are becoming.
You are an incredible being of love and light.
Take a super deep breath in.
Breathe those words in.
Exhale out any last residue of heaviness.
Let it go.
Another breath in and exhale it out.
Then keeping your eyes closed,
Place both hands together in front of your heart.
Relax the shoulders.
Relax the belly.
Just take a moment to bow down to your own heart and allow the knuckles of your thumbs to meet the space between eyebrows.
This is an acupressure point that we have here that helps us to release stress.
In general,
Just lean your forehead into the knuckles of your thumbs and just massage that point between the eyebrows.
Relax the jaw,
Relaxing all of your facial muscles.
Just gently sending some love into your mind.
Just let go and then send your fingertips towards your temples.
Give your temples a little massage,
Offering some support and some love to your mind.
Send your hands down towards the edges of the jawline.
Give your jaw a little massage.
We tend to hold on to a lot of stress here.
Let it go.
Finally,
Placing the hands back to the heart center and just take a moment,
Just noticing how you feel now.
Then offer yourself some gratitude and some love for choosing to take this sacred time out for the wellness of your mind,
Your body and your heart.
A gentle reminder that the more you take these little moments of this little oasis of joy,
Of relaxation,
The more love,
The more positivity and the more creativity you naturally will have to share with everyone else around you.
