Hola and welcome to this meditation for resetting for the overthinking mind.
My name is Jordan and I am honored to connect with you here in this space.
This is a meditation for pausing,
Letting go,
And resetting from an overthinking mind at any given moment throughout your day.
This is something you can return to to create space for returning to what feels in alignment within your body and within your heart.
So much of our days can be spent staring at a screen and moving through life in survival mode.
Often we over-identify with our thoughts,
Believing that the mind alone has all the answers.
But we have another gift.
Our intuition.
A quiet inner guidance system that can always bring you back home to your innate wisdom,
Your body,
And your next steps throughout your day.
In this short practice,
We'll invite self-trust,
Surrender,
And a gentle letting go.
This is your daily reset,
A moment for you to return to your center.
First,
Acknowledge yourself for showing up.
Just by taking this moment,
You are giving yourself what you need.
Go ahead and settle into your seat.
Allow your sit bones to melt into the surface beneath you.
Feel the support holding you and ground your feet into the earth beneath you,
Supporting you,
Creating that stability beneath you.
And feel into that.
Allow yourself to feel what is and to be present with exactly as is.
Go ahead and bring your attention to your breath.
Notice its natural rhythm.
There's no need to change it.
Simply be present with it.
Go ahead and take one slow inhale and one long exhale.
Release.
Let your body soften a little more with each breath.
You can continue to breathe at your own pace,
Using the rhythm of your breath as a gentle anchor that is always available for you.
Bring your awareness to the space between your thoughts.
Notice the subtle silence,
Even just for a moment.
Here,
The mind can pause.
Then here,
Your intuition can be heard.
If thoughts arise,
And they likely will,
Simply notice them and let them drift away,
One by one,
Returning attention to your body,
Your breath,
And the ground beneath you,
Holding you and supporting you.
Go ahead and take one final inhale,
Feeling the support and steadiness within you.
Exhale,
Letting go of tension,
Worry,
And the overthinking.
Remember that you can always return to and have access to the wisdom of your body,
The presence of you,
And the awareness you have wherever you may be.
When you're ready,
Gently bring your awareness back to the room,
To your body,
And to the present moment.
