So often our minds drift into the future, creating scenarios and imagined conflicts that lead to stress and discomfort in the present moment. I invite you to sink into this meditation to release the tension in your mind and body, and to bask in the serenity of each mindful breath. Oftentimes,

Our mind will drift into the future,

Creating scenarios and imagined conflicts that lead to stress and discomfort in the present moment.

We can become overwhelmed by the turmoil that's taking place in our minds,

Which in turn can impact how we feel in our bodies.

Sometimes it feels like too much,

More than we can handle.

It's times like these where the approach of one day at a time becomes most valuable.

We can't solve all the world's problems in a day,

Let alone all of our own perceived problems in a day,

Or even a lifetime.

Sometimes,

The best course of action is to do what's right in front of you and worry about tomorrow's problems tomorrow.

Some days,

However,

Are so crushing that the one-day-at-a-time mentality still seems like too much.

It might be necessary to take the day one hour at a time,

Or sometimes even one minute at a time when tempers are really flaring.

If today is one of those days where one day at a time feels like too much,

And even one minute at a time feels like too much,

Let's surrender to the idea of one breath at a time.

Every mindful breath during these most difficult days can be a reminder to return to this present moment.

Now,

Let's settle into this moment and feel ourselves and our troubles becoming just a little lighter,

One breath at a time.

Breathe in,

And breathe out,

And breathe in,

And breathe out.

Welcome back.

I hope you're feeling a little lighter and a little more capable to flow through the rest of your day.

And remember,

Each breath we take is an invitation to return to the present moment.

I look forward to meeting you on the road to happy destiny.
