Hello,
Welcome to John Orgy Healing.
This track is designed to help you understand narcissism and its impact,
Offering powerful affirmations to support you in navigating relationships with narcissists in your life.
As an adult child of an alcoholic,
My healing journey began in my late teens.
Over the years,
I've navigated through various phases of self-discovery and healing,
Making some progress along the way.
However,
It wasn't until I encountered energy healing in 2021 that I began to truly address and heal the deep-seated trauma and remove the energy blocks that had been a part of my life for so very long.
In this past year,
My focus shifted a bit towards healing from narcissism.
This journey required me to confront a difficult truth.
My mother,
Who passed away this past June,
Was a narcissist.
It's a painful reality to acknowledge,
Especially knowing how common it is for recovering alcoholics to develop narcissistic tendencies.
This realization opened my eyes to a pattern in my relationships.
I recognized that many of my friends were also narcissists,
And I had unconsciously drawn them into my life.
This pattern stemmed from a deep sense of familiarity,
An attempt to heal my relationship with my mother through these other connections.
The journey has been challenging,
But each step has brought me closer to understanding myself,
My past,
And the relationships that have shaped my life.
Through energy healing,
I've found a path to true healing,
And I continue to work towards breaking these cycles,
Reclaiming my power,
And building healthier,
More authentic relationships.
Let's start with some questions and some answers about narcissism.
What is a narcissist?
A narcissist is someone who has narcissistic personality disorder,
NPD,
Characterized by an inflated sense of self-importance,
A deep need for excessive attention and admiration,
Troubled relationships,
And a lack of empathy for others.
However,
Beneath this seemingly confident exterior often lies a fragile self-esteem that is vulnerable to the slightest criticism.
What does narcissism look like?
Narcissism manifests in various behaviors such as,
Number one,
Grandiosity,
Exaggerating achievements,
Expecting recognition as superior without commensurate achievements.
Number two,
Entitlement,
Believing they deserve special treatment and are superior to others.
Number three,
Exploitation,
Taking advantage of others to achieve their own ends.
Number four,
Lack of empathy,
Being unable or unwilling to recognize or care about the feelings and needs of others.
Number five,
Envy,
Being envious of others or believing others are envious of them.
Number six,
Arrogance,
Behaving arrogantly or haughtily.
What it feels like to deal with a narcissist.
Being around a narcissist,
Especially in close relationships,
Can be emotionally and mentally exhausting.
You may experience gaslighting.
This is a form of psychological manipulation where the narcissist makes you question your reality.
They might deny things they've said or done,
Twist facts,
Or downplay your emotions,
Leading you to doubt your memory and sanity.
Feeling drained.
Interactions with a narcissist can leave you feeling emotionally depleted as they demand constant attention and validation.
Confusion.
You might feel constantly confused or on edge because the narcissist's behavior is unpredictable and they often switch between charm and cruelty.
Self-doubt.
Narcissists often undermine your confidence,
Making you question your worth and capabilities.
Isolation.
They may isolate you from friends and family,
Either by sowing discord or by monopolizing your time.
And here are some transformative affirmations for dealing with a narcissist.
I will state the affirmation,
Followed by a powerful suggestion for you,
And then repeat the affirmation a second time.
And feel free to say them along with me.
Number one,
I trust in my own perception and intuition.
Reaffirm your trust in your reality,
Even when the narcissist tries to distort it.
I trust in my own perception and intuition.
Number two,
I am worthy of love and respect just as I am.
Remind yourself that you deserve to be treated with kindness and respect,
Regardless of what a narcissist might make you feel.
I am worthy of love and respect just as I am.
Number three,
My feelings and experiences are valid.
Acknowledge that your emotions and experiences are real and important,
Despite any attempts to downplay or invalidate them.
My feelings and experiences are valid.
Number four,
I release the need to please others at the expense of my own well-being.
Let go of the habit of seeking approval from the narcissist and prioritize your own emotional and mental health.
I release the need to please others at the expense of my own well-being.
Number five,
I am strong,
Resilient,
And capable of creating healthy boundaries.
Empower yourself to set and maintain boundaries,
Recognizing that this is a key step in protecting your peace.
I am strong,
Resilient,
And capable of creating healthy boundaries.
Number six,
I choose to surround myself with supportive and understanding people.
Focus on building a network of supportive individuals who uplift and validate you,
Countering the negativity of the narcissist.
I choose to surround myself with supportive and understanding people.
Number seven,
I detach from the drama and chaos,
Finding peace within myself.
Detachment,
Refusing to get caught up in the narcissist's manipulative tactics.
I detach from the drama and chaos,
Finding peace within myself.
Number eight,
I am in control of my own mind and emotions.
Reclaim control over your thoughts and feelings,
Not allowing the narcissist to manipulate your emotional state.
I am in control of my own mind and emotions.
Number nine,
I forgive myself for any mistakes and I learn and grow from them.
Be kind to yourself,
Understanding that any perceived failings in dealing with a narcissist are learning experiences,
Not reflections of your worth.
I forgive myself for any mistakes and I learn and grow from them.
And number 10,
I release any power I've unconsciously given to the narcissist.
Consciously take back the power you may have given the narcissist over your emotions and self-esteem.
I release any power I've unconsciously given to the narcissist.
These affirmations can help anchor you in your truth and provide a sense of stability and self-empowerment when dealing with the challenging dynamics of a relationship with a narcissist.
Take a deep breath in,
And as you exhale,
Allow a sense of peace and empowerment to wash over you.
Know that with each affirmation you embrace,
You are strengthening your resolve,
Reclaiming your power,
And moving closer to a life of clarity,
Self-love,
And freedom.
As you work with these affirmations,
Consider incorporating journaling into your practice.
Writing down your thoughts and feelings not only reinforces the affirmation,
But also helps to clear and open your throat chakra,
Empowering you to express your truth more freely.
Journaling allows you to process your experiences,
Release any lingering negativity,
And strengthening your voice,
Enabling you to communicate with clarity and confidence.
Through this practice,
You can foster deeper healing and self-empowerment.
Remember,
Healing is a journey,
And every step you take is a victory.
You are deserving of love,
Respect,
And a life filled with peace.
Trust in your strength,
And allow these affirmations to guide you towards the life you truly deserve.
With gratitude for your courage and commitment to healing,
Let this be a foundation for a brighter,
More empowered future.
