Many of us learned early that our voice wasn’t safe — that speaking up brought punishment, or that shaping our words kept us protected. In this dialogue, the inner child voices that fear, and the adult self responds with love and safety. Together, we remember that our truth is not dangerous, and our voice is worthy of being heard.
