Greetings and welcome friends.
My name is Jessie and I am grateful you are here to connect with your sacral chakra through the JAM method that includes journaling,
Affirmations,
And meditation.
The sacral chakra is related to our sexuality,
Our sensuality,
And creativity.
The sacral chakra is located just below our navel and is associated with the color orange.
The related element is water.
When our sacral chakra is blocked,
We may feel low libido,
Fear of intimacy,
Less creative,
And or isolated.
When our sacral chakra is overreactive,
We may appear over emotional,
Fixated on sex,
Hedonistic,
And or manipulative.
A balanced sacral chakra leads to feelings of wellness,
Abundance,
Confidence,
Generosity,
Pleasure,
And joy.
So let's do a quick check-in.
Can you relate to any of the descriptions that I listed?
Did any of those words resonate with you?
Is your sacral chakra feeling balanced?
Let's start with our journaling practice.
If you haven't already,
Grab your journal.
Our first two prompts will use the flow journaling technique.
I will provide one prompt at the start.
The journal prompt will be quite vague so that your mind can wander wherever it may need to.
I find these short prompts to be the ones that really get my creativity going.
The key is to write for the entire time and when you're feeling stuck,
Just start over with the prompt.
It's not supposed to be perfect.
It's just supposed to help you get in the flow and start connecting with the topic.
So we'll use the first 90 seconds with the sentence starter,
Creativity is.
So for the next 90 seconds,
Let your thoughts flow onto your paper about what creativity is and when you're feeling stuck,
Write out creativity is again and it's likely your thoughts will start flowing again.
Allow yourself grace and imperfection.
This isn't a poetry contest.
Ready?
Creativity is.
20 more seconds.
Go ahead and wrap up that thought.
Our next journal prompt,
Same practice but the sentence starter this time is intimacy is.
Intimacy is.
20 seconds left.
Okay,
Go ahead and wrap up that thought.
Our last journal prompt,
How can you cultivate more joy into your everyday life?
How can you cultivate more joy into your everyday life?
20 seconds left.
Okay,
Go ahead and wrap up that thought.
Getting our thoughts out on paper helps us recognize our thoughts and feelings.
Journaling helps us organize those thoughts and feelings,
Can help us plan and identify anything that we may need to release that is no longer serving us.
So let's move on to the affirmation portion of today's class.
We will state two affirmations.
I will share them first and then I will state the first affirmation and ask you to join me repeating it three times.
We will do the same for the second affirmation.
First,
I will read them both.
Creative energy flows to and through me.
I am a conduit of creativity.
I am a passionate and sensual being and am deserving of intimacy.
Okay,
So that first prompt,
Creative energy flows to and through me.
I am a conduit of creativity.
Together,
Creative energy flows to and through me.
I am a conduit of creativity.
Creative energy flows to and through me.
I am a conduit of creativity.
Creative energy flows to and through me.
I am a conduit of creativity.
Good.
All right,
Second affirmation.
I am a passionate and sensual being and am deserving of intimacy.
Together,
I am a passionate and sensual being and I am deserving of intimacy.
I am a passionate and sensual being and am deserving of intimacy.
I am a passionate and sensual being and am deserving of intimacy.
Good.
All right,
So let's move into a brief meditation to wrap up this jam practice.
If you haven't already,
Please find a comfortable and quiet place so you can fully engage in this practice.
Either sit or lie down and we just want to take notice of how the body is feeling right now in this space,
In this present moment,
And just allow yourself,
Give yourself permission to relax in this space and then relax a little bit more.
Take up as much space as physically possible.
Nice.
And then connect with your breath.
Just recognize your breath,
How you are naturally breathing in this moment.
And we're just going to take a couple moments.
We're just going to sit here and breathe and relax in this space,
Giving yourself love.
Keep breathing.
We'll relax here for about another 30 seconds.
Great.
Just go ahead and continue to sit there.
Slowly come back into your body.
Acknowledge yourself for connecting today with your sacral chakra.
And if you'd like to learn more about your sacral chakra,

Also on Insight Timer.
It's called the Sacral Chakra Healing Meditation.

Thank you so much for joining me today.
I am grateful that you have joined me.
And give yourself lots of love throughout the day.
