Flow journaling helps us organize and release thoughts and feelings, reduces stress, assists in letting go, increases creativity, and can improve overall well-being. This practice includes a brief journal prompt designed for you to let your mind wander and flow to paper. You’ll have just under four minutes to answer that prompt. The key is to write for the entire time and when you’re feeling stuck- just start over with the journal prompt. Today's journal prompt is "I Realize..." Music by Chris Collins.

Greetings and welcome friends.

My name is Jessie and I am grateful you are here for five-minute flow journaling.

This five-minute session is designed to provide space and prompts to support your journaling practice.

These short flow journal prompts tap into our intuition,

Provide clarity,

Increase creativity,

And overall well-being.

Please grab your journal and a favorite writing utensil,

Open your notes app in your phone,

Or whatever tools you need to meaningfully engage in this practice.

I will provide one prompt at the start.

This prompt will be quite vague so that your mind can wander wherever it needs to.

I find these short prompts to be the ones that really get my creativity going.

The key is to write for the entire time and if you're feeling stuck,

Start over with a prompt,

Which for this practice is,

I realize.

So anytime you stop moving that pencil or the thoughts stop flowing to the paper,

Go ahead and start over by writing the words,

I realize,

And I have a feeling that something will start to flow.

Remember,

It's not supposed to be perfect.

It's just supposed to get you in the flow.

Okay,

Let's begin.

Like I said,

Our prompt is,

I realize.

20 more seconds.

Okay,

So that's time,

But please feel free to continue to journal beyond this time limit if you are still flowing.

Thank you for joining me today for 5-Minute Flow Journaling.

I am grateful for you.

Wishing you a magical,

Inspiring,

And wonder-filled day.

May your soul shine.
