Hello.

This is Jennifer Engler.

This is a basic grounding meditation where you are guided to check in with your body,

Your heart,

And your soul.

Let's begin,

If it's available to you,

With your feet on the floor and your spine comfortably straight.

Just straight enough to feel a good energetic flow going up and down your spine.

Sensing into it,

Flowing through each one of your energy bodies.

And then when you're ready,

If it's available and comfortable,

Taking a few deep breaths in through your nose and out through your mouth,

Filling belly and chest without straining.

And then as you breathe out,

Imagine yourself breathing out through a thin straw to just help slow and extend the exhale.

Allowing the breath to support the body and beginning to release its contraction and beginning to feel that it's safe to go within.

Another deep breath in through the nose,

Filling belly and chest,

And then out through the mouth,

Breathing out through a thin straw.

When you're ready,

Taking one last deep breath like that.

And as you blow out through your mouth,

Emptying belly and chest,

Just begin to notice the contact points that your body's making the surface that's holding you.

And just allow your body to give into those contact points,

Allowing your body to be held even more,

Maybe even completely.

And then when you're ready,

Allow your breath to settle into a rhythm that feels right for you.

In this moment,

Allow your breath to just rest at your center of your body,

Wherever that feels right for you.

Just allowing the breath to naturally settle into that rhythm.

And then as we breathe,

We're just going to expand the breath and awareness throughout the whole body with an invitation for the body to let go of the tension it might be holding and just to try to move into further relaxation.

So from your center,

Expanding breath and awareness up through the top of the chest,

Through the tops of the shoulders,

Through the neck,

Into the throat,

Pausing here at the jaws for release.

Moving down to the chin,

Up across the cheeks,

Into the eyes and eye sockets.

Across the forehead and all the way up to the top of the head,

Feeling into the skin of your scalp,

All the way at the top into your crown,

Your crown chakra.

And then when you're ready,

Returning to center and expanding out now across the tops of the shoulders and down both arms,

Allowing them to become live and loose by your sides.

Breathing into the tops of the arms,

The elbows,

The forearms,

Into your palms,

The chakras that are there,

And all the way out to the tips of your fingers.

And then again,

Returning to center and now breathing down into the mid and low back,

All the way down to the base of your spine,

Your root chakra.

Expanding the breath and awareness and the softening around into the belly center and down into the sacrum and the pelvic bowl.

And then expanding even further from here down into the legs,

Through the hips,

The thighs,

The knees,

Calves and shins,

Through the ankles,

Into the chakras of each foot and out to each one of your toes.

Breathing yourself fully into this amazing body that you chose for this lifetime.

This incredible body that knows how to heal itself.

And then go ahead and check in with your feet,

Feel how they feel on the floor,

The contact points they're making,

Just filling them with your awareness and even sending them some gratitude and appreciation for getting and keeping you grounded and taking you where you want to go.

Remember,

Just know that you have a minor chakra in the arch of each foot,

An energy center that you can open up.

And out of these energy centers,

You can send your energetic roots coming down from the base of your spine through your legs and out your feet.

Allow yourself to send them down through the floor and into the earth.

And allow these roots to go down deep and branch out and allow them to seek out naturally more of that energy of Mother Earth that you could use right now.

Allow them to go through all the layers of the earth,

Finding her energy,

Her natural grounding,

Nurturing energy.

And then allow your roots to tap into this energy and begin to draw it up,

Getting a nice supply so that you can guide it all the way back up your roots through each layer of the earth,

Through the bottom of the floor,

Through the floor to the bottoms of your feet,

Drawing it into your body through your feet,

Through your ankles,

Up your lower legs,

Through your knees and into your upper legs.

I get all the way up through the base of your spine.

Let it fill your hips and your belly as you guide it all the way up to your midsection and anchor it here,

Right at your solar plexus.

And then checking in and feeling,

Sensing that the lower half of your body is now filled with grounding,

Supportive earth energy.

Feeling into this foundation for your body and your lower three body chakras helps you feel more like yourself and safer in the world.

And then when you feel ready,

Put your attention at the base of your spine where you can drop your other energetic cord that helps you manage any overwhelm or overload,

Any excess intensity that you might be carrying.

Run it down this cord back into the earth to be transmuted.

Mother Earth knows how to recycle this energy that is no longer serving you.

Once you're feeling pretty clear here,

Go ahead and bring your attention,

Your awareness,

Even your breath into your heart.

Breathing in and out of your heart.

And allow any part of your thinking mind to let go as best as it can to try to drop down here into your heart.

With breath and awareness here,

I'm going to ask three questions of our body,

Our heart,

And our soul.

First,

Asking from our heart,

We want to check in with the body.

What does your body need right now?

Just asking the question and letting the answer come in.

Trying to take your first answer without judging or second guessing it.

What does your body need right now?

And then your second question is for your heart.

What does your heart know or feel right now in this moment?

And then your third question is for your soul.

What does your soul want?

What's it longing for?

Allowing your answer to arrive,

Whether it's a sound,

A word,

A symbol,

Or even a feeling.

And then just holding your answers in your heart and honoring them.

This is your information,

And it's sacred because it's yours.

And when you're ready,

Just take a few moments to sit and feel how it feels to be in your vibration.

You as this unique body and soul combination for this lifetime,

Never to be repeated again,

And unlike any other.

Feel how you vibrate.

Feel how you resonate.

Sense into and soak up how it feels to be you.

And know that you can always come back to this.

Always come back to you,

No matter what.

And when you feel ready,

You can begin to slowly and gently start bringing yourself back into the room and into physical reality.

Gently taking whatever physical movement feels right for you,

Wiggling fingers and toes.

And gently opening your eyes and looking all around the room and realizing that you're safe as you reorient,

Bringing yourself all the way back,

Returning to your day.

And I hope it's a magical one.

Namaste.
