In this transformative meditation, you will meet your inner child, the one that still lives within you, that still seeks validation, approval, and love. It’s time to gain clarity of mind and self-awareness, so that you can let go and release any unconscious patterns that have been burdening you or holding you back. When you came into this world, you were whole. You were complete. There was no love lacking, no insecurities or doubt. The Universe created you fully intact, fully loved. You knew this love, and you felt it before you were able to intellectualise, before you were able to decide for yourself if this love was true or not. The love WAS you, as you could not be separate from it. But as you grew, you absorbed energies from others around you. You took on the beliefs of your parents, caregivers, teachers, and others. You incorrectly learned that love was conditional and that you are not whole. This meditation is your reminder that YOU are the love you've been seeking.

Transcript

The intention for this meditation is that you meet your inner child,

The one that still lives within you,

The one that still seeks validation,

Approval and love.

It's for you to gain clarity of mind and self-awareness so that you can let go and release any unconscious patterns that have been burdening you or holding you back.

When you came into this world,

You were whole.

You were complete.

There was no love lacking,

No insecurities or doubt.

The universe created you fully intact,

Fully loved,

Because the eternal energy of the universe is love.

You knew this love and you felt it before you were able to intellectualise.

Before you were able to decide for yourself if this love was true or not.

This love was you,

As you could not be separate from it.

But as you grew,

You absorbed energies from others around you.

Your innocent mind started to take on the beliefs of your parents,

Caregivers,

Teachers and others.

Thoughts and words that contradicted the meaning of love were shown to you.

The love and wholeness that was once you seemed to have been cut off and separated,

So now it became something external to you,

Something to gain,

Something to try and claw back.

Your beliefs told you that the love was missing and that you were not enough.

So during your life,

You might have subconsciously scrambled and grasped at any chance to gain this feeling of love back,

In the form of feeling worthy,

Acknowledged and seen.

And how can one feel those things without having another person to validate them?

In actual fact,

You can completely feel worthy,

Appreciated,

Seen and ultimately loved without the need and help of anyone else.

But it's likely that you never realised this,

Because it was never taught to you.

So you carried on throughout life,

Always seeking those things from outside of yourself,

But never realising that it was all for a lost cause,

Because the truth is that you can only feel whole from within,

Not from without.

Mistakes may have happened along the way,

Which would have all come down to a feeling of lack,

Of scarcity,

Of not feeling whole.

So it's important not to judge yourself in this process,

Because you were doing what felt necessary at the time to feel validated,

Even if it was all unconscious.

So now,

Let's take a journey to meet your inner child,

To uncover the parts of yourself that are still lacking love and wholeness.

Take a nice deep inhale through the nose,

Exhale and release through the mouth.

Take a few breaths like this,

Following the breath in and out.

Inhaling new insights and clarity,

Exhaling stagnation and confusion.

And start to tune into yourself.

How is your body feeling?

Just be aware of any sensations inside of your body,

Any tightness,

Tensions or tingling,

Or maybe just sensing the air on your skin.

Be present with yourself in this moment.

You can say the following affirmation either out loud or in your mind.

When you repeat the words,

Try to really feel into what you are declaring.

Repeat after me.

I am ready to meet the inner child within me,

The one that still feels incomplete.

I now intend to undo the incorrect beliefs within myself of not being whole,

Complete and unconditionally loved.

And I replace this with a deep knowing that my being is full of source light and unlimited love from the universe continuously pours into me.

We will repeat this once more.

Repeat after me.

I am ready to meet the inner child within me,

The one that still feels incomplete.

I now intend to undo the incorrect beliefs within myself of not being whole,

Complete and unconditionally loved.

And I replace this with a deep knowing that my being is full of source light and unlimited love from the universe continuously pours into me.

Now take a moment to feel into what is currently limiting you in your life.

I'm going to ask you some questions and just see what comes up for you.

Don't overthink this,

Just allow the answers to naturally come.

Feel free to pause at every question and you can write your answers down if that helps.

Here are your questions.

Where do you get caught up in self-doubt or shame?

Where do you struggle with feelings of guilt or regret?

Where do you notice that you are not being yourself?

Who are you with in those moments when you feel you cannot be yourself or where you feel restricted to speak your truth?

What habits,

Patterns or addictions do you struggle with?

And now we will go back to each question individually.

But this time direct these questions to your inner child.

Allow the child within you to show you where these feelings began.

Perhaps someone else instilled these feelings within them.

Or certain circumstances occurred which implemented these beliefs.

Maybe your inner child created these beliefs to gain control in an attempt to feel accepted and therefore loved.

Or on the contrary to avoid feeling the pain of not feeling accepted or loved.

Again,

You can pause here if needed to reflect and perhaps write down any responses that come to you.

So again,

Let's ask these questions but now to your inner child.

Where do you get caught up in self-doubt or shame?

Where do you struggle with feelings of guilt or regret?

Where do you notice that you are not being yourself?

Who are you with in those moments when you cannot be yourself or where you feel restricted to speak your truth?

What habits,

Patterns or addictions do you struggle with?

Emotions may come and if they do,

Just let them be.

Your emotions are the greater part of your inner child.

Let the child within you be heard,

Seen and loved.

See to your inner child with compassion.

You can ask what they need in this moment and you can be all that they need.

You could visualise wrapping your arms around them,

Allowing them to feel safe.

But you can also visualise whatever feels good for you and your inner child in this moment.

Your imagination is your own healing magic.

Perhaps there are words that you could give to your younger self.

What would they need to hear to remember that they are whole,

Complete and unconditionally loved?

Stay here for as long as you need.

When you feel ready,

You can leave your inner child with a final message.

What words would you like to leave them with?

And suddenly you watch with amazement as a shining light from the universe covers their whole being,

Enveloping them in a light of pure,

Unlimited love.

You watch as they bathe in this loving energy,

Realising that they were already it.

That they were and still are this pure,

Whole being the whole time.

And they are taken back up into the higher realms with this knowing.

Now gently taking your awareness back to yourself in this moment.

Take a nice deep inhale through the nose and exhale through the mouth.

Come back into your body and just be still with yourself in the here and now.

No need for thoughts,

Just be.

As you move on into the next few days,

Weeks or months,

You may receive new insights from your inner child,

As they will start to feel safe in showing you things that may have been buried down deep.

Let them come and allow yourself to see,

Feel and acknowledge what your inner child is showing to you.

Remember to always treat yourself with compassion,

Love and understanding.

You can always come back to this meditation to deepen the connection to your inner child,

And ultimately to yourself.

To remember that you are and always have been completely whole and unconditionally loved,

Simply for just being you.
