This is a reminder that saying no is okay and something we must do often to respect our own boundaries.

Here we go.
Start by settling your body in a comfortable position in which you can fully relax.
As you close your eyes,
To further relax and focus,
Take a few deep breaths,
Inhale,
Hold shortly and exhale,

With each breath cycle,
Allow your body to become heavier,
Sinking into the surface beneath you.
Inhale through your nose and exhale through your mouth.
Let your breathing settle into a natural rhythm,
Slow and steady.
Your face softens,
Your jaw relaxes,
Your shoulders and neck relax and your entire body begins to feel calm and at ease.
Your mind turns inward and all the outside world fades.
You are completely focused on yourself and ready to make positive changes.
Take a deep breath in and exhale at your own time.
In this deeply relaxed state,
Picture yourself walking along a soft,
Sandy beach.
The sun is warm,
The temperature is perfect and a refreshing breeze caresses your face and the sound of the waves soothes your mind.
With each step you take on the sand,
You feel more and more peaceful,
More and more relaxed.
Take it all in.
This is a time all for yourself.
There is absolutely nothing you need to be doing right now other than paying attention to yourself.
I will now count from 10 to 1 and as I do,
With each number,
You will step into deeper and deeper relaxation.
Your mind will open to new and positive thoughts.

As you hear these affirmations repeat silently or aloud,
I am worthy of love and respect just as I am.

This bubble is your personal boundary.
It is strong yet flexible,
Allowing positive energy while keeping negativity out.

Feel the strength and calm that comes with honoring your own needs.
You are in control of your life and your answers are given with respect,
Both for yourself and for the other person.
