In this body-based meditation, we turn gentle micro-motions - like rolling the shoulders, swaying the spine, or circling the wrists - into portals of delight. With eyes soft and breath easy, let curiosity guide each subtle shift, noticing how even the tiniest stretch sparks warmth, tingles, or an inner smile. Synchronising movement with mindful attention awakens dormant muscles and emotions alike, reminding the nervous system that pleasure can be simple, spontaneous, and self-generated. Practiced regularly, these miniature dances weave pockets of joy into ordinary moments, so well-being becomes less a distant goal and more a sensation always within reach. Wishing you many moments of micro-joy.

Let's do a meditation together to find joy through movement and breath.

So find yourself a space where you can be quiet and comfortable and undisturbed and take a moment to arrive in your body.

Wherever you are just begin by noticing how you feel.

Take a deep breath in and let it out with a sigh.

Again breathe in through the nose and exhale fully.

One more deep breath and let this breath be your invitation inwards.

Release it and be in your body in this moment.

Now slowly begin to bring movement into your body.

Start wherever feels natural.

Maybe rolling your shoulders or tilting your head from side to side or circling your wrists or ankles.

This is not about performance,

This is about presence.

So let your body lead the way.

You might sway from side to side or stretch your arms up to the sky.

Roll down through your spine and rise back up.

Let your breath guide the movement or let your movement guide the breath.

Now pause and place one hand on your heart and one on your belly and feel your breath moving you.

Just acknowledge for a second you are alive,

You are here.

Let yourself be filled by this simple truth.

Now if you feel ready allow your body to move more freely.

This can be swaying or rocking.

You might stay seated and move your hands through the air or stand and let your hips and feet join in.

Move in a way that feels joyful even if it's just a little movement.

Let your breath and body speak.

There is no right or wrong here.

You are reconnecting with joy.

Not joy as a performance but joy as a current that flows from within right through you.

And just for a second now come to stillness again and notice what has shifted.

Notice the aliveness in your body,

In your breath.

Even the smallest movement creates space.

Even the softest breath can hold joy.

And if you like repeat these phrases with me either out loud or quietly in your heart.

I am allowed to feel joy in my body.

I move with ease,

With breath and with presence.

Joy is already within me.

I just let it rise.

I am alive,

I am free,

I am whole.

Begin to return now.

Let your body move and wriggle and relax and notice your feet on the ground and take one more breath and this time breathe in joy and breathe out gratitude.

You might like to place both hands over your heart for a moment and thank your body for carrying you and for moving with you and for being your home.

Joy is not a destination.

It is here with you in your breath,

In your body,

In the moment.

I hope you feel your joy for a few moments every day.

Thank you so much for sharing your space with me today.

Have a wonderful day.
