Thank you for joining me in this gratitude meditation.

To begin,

Gently settle into your seat,

Finding a comfortable posture.

Allow your spine to lengthen,

Shoulders to relax,

And arms to rest gently.

Close your eyes if it feels right,

Or simply soften your gaze.

Take a few deep breaths,

Inhaling slowly and exhaling completely.

Each exhale releases any tension you may be holding,

Leaving you open and receptive.

Breath 1,

Awareness.

Bring your attention to your natural breath,

Without trying to change it in any way.

Feel the coolness of the air as it enters your nostrils,

Travels down your throat,

And expands your chest.

Notice the warmth of your breath as it rises and exits your lungs.

Simply observe each inhale and exhale,

A gentle dance of life within you.

Become an explorer of your own breath,

Noticing its rhythm,

Its depth,

Its unique symphony.

Breath 2,

Relaxation.

With each exhale,

Imagine a wave of relaxation washing over you.

Feel it soften your muscles,

Releasing any tension or tightness.

Let your worries and anxieties recede,

Like clouds drifting away from a clear blue sky.

As you breathe out,

Visualize a warm light filling your body,

Melting away any remaining stress or negativity.

With each deep breath,

You surrender to a deeper sense of ease and tranquility.

Breath 3,

Joy.

Now,

As you inhale,

Open your heart to the possibility of joy.

Feel it like a spark igniting within you,

Growing with each breath.

Imagine this joy as a warm golden light,

Radiating from your heart,

Spreading to your limbs,

Then filling your entire being.

Allow yourself to bask in this gentle internal sunshine,

A quiet blossoming of happiness from within.

With each breath,

Let the joy grow,

Filling every corner of your awareness.

Breath 4,

Gratitude.

Now,

As you inhale,

Take a moment to feel gratitude for something big or small today.

It might be a joyful start to your day,

A cup of coffee,

Or simply that you made it through the day so far.

Imagine a bright light of gratitude,

Growing with each breath.

Imagine this gratitude as a warm golden light,

Radiating from your heart,

Spreading to your friends,

Coworkers,

And the universe.

Imagine the light filling your entire being.

Allow yourself to bask in this gentle internal sunshine,

A quiet blossoming of happiness from within.

With each breath,

Let the joy grow,

Filling every corner of your awareness.

Focus on your breath and embrace the gratitude you feel in this present moment.

Stay with this feeling of gratitude,

This internal glow of peace.

Notice how your breath naturally settles into a harmonious rhythm,

Reflecting the tranquility within you.

There is nothing you need to achieve,

There is no goal you need to reach.

Simply be present,

Immersed in the joy that arises from your own stillness and awareness.

When you feel ready,

Take a few final deep breaths and slowly awaken your senses.

Notice how the world around you seems softer,

Brighter,

Touched by the joy you cultivated within.

Carry this feeling of peace and happiness with you throughout your day,

A gentle reminder of the inner radiance that always resides within you.
