Welcome to this Yoga Nidra practice for self-love,

Self-compassion.

Self-compassion is how we can shift the world into a more peaceful place,

So that we can feel compassion for others and heal.

Start by laying down on your mat or anywhere that you feel comfortable enough and make sure that you feel comfortable with the temperature,

With the clothing that you have on,

That you're wearing.

Maybe you can bring in a sweater if it's chilly.

Whatever you need to feel more grounded in this space.

Once you feel comfortable enough,

Take a few deep inhales through your nose and exhales,

Feeling how any tension in your body releases.

Inhale through your nose,

Expanding your belly,

And exhale any tension that you're holding on to in your heart,

In your mind,

Or in your body.

Feel the beat of your heart slow down.

Inhaling and exhaling any tension that you may feel in the way.

Feel everything slow down as you move further and further into complete relaxation and just let yourself breathe and be.

Notice how your body and your mind respond to every breath as they continue to slow down and release all tension.

You can choose to resonate with the following positive affirmation,

Which is,

I choose to accept and love myself.

And just feel into that or your own affirmation.

Let yourself feel what you feel.

Just breathe into it.

If you feel that any part of you doesn't resonate with it,

It's okay and part of the process.

It's okay to feel how you feel.

You can choose to send love to any part that you may feel that doesn't resonate with that affirmation.

Inhaling and exhaling,

Feeling how any tension leaves your body.

Let yourself breathe into these emotions.

Letting them move and flow in your body with every breath.

While you inhale and exhale any tension,

Feeling how this tension dissolves into space.

Notice how your body and mind respond to your breath as they continue to slow down and release more and more tension.

Rotation of Consciousness You will now take a sensory journey through the pathways of the physical body.

As you hear the different parts of your body mentioned,

Repeat the name of the part mentally.

Move all your awareness into that part of your body and notice the movement from one part to the next.

Keep yourself alert and focused on the sensations coming from the body.

The arms feel heavy.

The legs feel heavy.

The head is heavy.

The torso is heavy.

The body is feeling so heavy and grounded that you seem to be sinking down into the earth.

Now experience the whole body becoming light as a feather.

Breathe into this floating and weightless body sensation.

The head and torso feel light and floating.

And the body feels so weightless that you feel rising from the floor towards the ceiling.

Now bring your awareness back to your breath.

And feel your breath as it moves in and out of your body.

And exhale any tension from the body and the mind.

Feeling how the tension in your body melts away.

Feeling more relaxed with each exhale.

Now become aware of any part of your body that feels maybe anxiety,

Sadness,

Or irritation.

Let yourself feel what you feel without judgment.

Just observing.

Maybe you feel happy.

Maybe you feel joy.

Let yourself experience these sensations however they feel.

And observe what parts of your body may be reflecting these emotions,

These inner states.

Breathing through every emotion and sensation that you feel.

Relaxing your body and your mind with every exhale even more.

Now see yourself lying on the floor or on your mat practicing Yoga Nidra.

Just experience yourself.

Feel the weight of your body on your mat.

Feel the layers of your being begin to dissolve.

Feel your physical body,

Energetic body,

And mental body dissolve into space.

Breathing into this space and feeling your body relax more and more.

Feel everything begin to release and dissolve until there is nothing left but your heart center.

Feel your big,

Loving,

Caring heart center.

And feel it surrounded by a light,

Bright,

Pink light.

Breathe into this light and feel your heart center expanding with each exhale.

Feel that pure sensation of love fill you up.

And feel this pink light expand around your heart,

Growing stronger and stronger.

And receive these feelings of love for yourself.

Breathing through your heart center.

Relaxing your heart center and releasing any tension in this area.

See or feel yourself falling in love with who you are,

The way you are,

And your essence.

Feel that pink light,

The light of love.

Feel your heart and dissolve any feelings of negativity,

Doubt,

Self-doubt.

Replacing it with breath and self-love,

Self-compassion.

Nurture in this self-love experience.

And experience acceptance for your body.

Experience appreciation for all that your body does for you on a daily basis.

For your wisdom.

And fall in love with your beautiful self.

Acknowledging and celebrating the goodness within you.

Feel how your walls come down and any negativity and self-doubt dissolve into space.

And feel the love for yourself expand more and more.

Becoming stronger breath after breath.

And as you feel your love expanding,

See this pink bright light expand and grow stronger and stronger.

Feel it become more vibrant,

More powerful.

Watch it grow and expand all over your body.

Your chest,

Your shoulders,

Your arms.

Breathe into this light as it covers all your body,

Healing every single cell of your body.

See yourself cocooned in this beautiful pink light.

Bathe in it.

Let yourself soak in this light.

Feeling surrounded by self-love.

Enjoy the sensation of feeling free.

Being free from all judgment,

Comparison and any negativity.

Feel these dissolve into space.

And surrender into complete acceptance and gratitude for who you are.

Breathe this intention into yourself.

And exhale any tension remaining in your heart center.

Now repeat the following affirmation.

I am worthy of love.

I choose to love myself fully.

Exactly as I am.

Now take a full natural belly breath.

And start moving your fingers and your toes gently and softly.

And when you feel ready,

Slowly open your eyes and come back to this space.
