This is a Meditation that brings us back to the present moment by grounding ourselves in our senses. It helps release anxiety and stress, and uses a very powerful technique at first called "Mudra" at the beginning of the meditation. This technique is about pressing the thumb onto the index finger of both hands gently while imagining a color that brings you peace while at it.

Hello,

My name is Beatrice and today I'm going to guide you through a short and powerful meditation.

And I'm going to take you to your happy place.

A time where you feel completely calm and completely relaxed.

So,

We're going to start closing your eyes.

And finding a position where you feel comfortable.

It can be laying down,

It can be sitting on the ground.

It can be sitting on a chair with your feet flat on the ground.

Wherever you feel comfortable.

So,

When you're ready,

We're going to visualize this place.

This happy place.

It may be a place from childhood.

Maybe an activity you enjoy.

A place that feels magical to you.

Visualize this place now.

What can you see in this place?

And what does this place look like?

Can you see trees?

Or maybe a lake?

Can you see animals?

People,

Perhaps?

Maybe a tree?

Maybe a tree?

Maybe a tree?

Maybe a tree?

Maybe a tree?

People,

Perhaps?

Look around.

What else do you see?

Now,

Anchor this image in your mind's eye by pressing the index finger of your thumb of each hand.

Both hands and pressing gently.

While anchoring a color that brings you peace.

Visualize yourself covered in this color from head to toes now.

Stay here and breathe softly through your nose,

Filling your belly.

And exhaling through your mouth.

Now,

We are going to breath softly again through your nose.

Filling your belly.

And exhaling through your mouth.

Very well.

Next,

What can you hear in this place?

If you can see animals,

Can you hear them too?

Is there water nearby?

Can you hear the sounds of water?

Can you hear music playing?

Can you hear the sounds of water?

Can you hear music playing?

Perhaps a song that you like?

If you do so,

Anchor these sounds now.

Lock them in your energy system.

Now,

I want you to think about what you can smell in this place.

Can you smell a scent you enjoy?

Maybe a meal you love?

If you are outside in nature,

Can you smell anything from nature?

Take a minute to smell.

Anchor these smells now.

Lock them in your energy system.

What does it feel like in your happy place?

Do you feel warm?

Do you feel cold?

Anything that you feel is okay.

Release any expectations.

And what do you feel in your body?

Hopefully,

You feel happy and safe.

Anchor these feelings into your body now.

Lock them in.

And remember,

You can always come back to your happy place whenever you feel you need it.

And remember,

You can always come back to your happy place whenever you feel you need it.

Lastly,

We visit taste.

Think about what you might be able to taste in this place.

Perhaps the last thing you ate.

Or maybe your favorite meal.

A breakfast you love.

Or maybe you are a little bit more comfortable.

A breakfast you love.

Coffee,

Perhaps.

Anything you feel or see and enjoy.

Bring these back.

Anchor these tastes in your mind's eye,

In your memory.

Very well.

Take a look around.

Remember how it feels to be in your happy place.

Remember what it smells like,

What you can hear in this place,

What you tasted.

Bring back the full picture of your happy place.

Visualize it.

Now,

We're going to start breathing in through your nose softly.

And breathing out through your mouth.

And breathing out through your mouth.

There is no right or wrong way of meditating.

You are doing wonderfully.

So now you're going to start wiggling your fingers of your hands and your toes.

And when you're ready,

You can open your eyes and take a big stretch.

And go on with your day.

I love you.
