Welcome,
Dear one.
This meditation was designed to aid you in releasing self-doubt and anxiety about the future and to step into your purpose with confidence.
Let's begin with some breathing and centering exercises which opens our mind through our body to this powerful experience.
Start by taking a deep,
Full breath in.
Fill your body completely and then breathe it all out,
Releasing and letting it go.
Now we will add a pattern to our breath.
Breathing in for 4 counts and breathing out for 6.
Lengthening the out-breath helps our body and our parasympathetic system to know that it has what it needs and it can let go.
So let's begin now,
Breathing in 2,
3,
4 and out 2,
3,
4,
5,
6.
And in 2,
3,
4 and out 2,
3,
4,
5,
6.
One more time,
2,
3,
4 and out 2,
3,
4,
5,
6.
With that last out-breath,
Feel your body sink into whatever you're resting on.
Feel the weight of your body,
Connected and supported.
Feel your muscles sink deeper and deeper,
Relaxing,
Releasing.
With your awareness at the top of your body,
Feel the muscles around your eyes relax,
Your eyebrows unknitting themselves and your cheeks becoming soft,
Your mouth relaxing and your jaw gently dropping away and down.
Feeling your shoulders now drop away from your ears,
Sinking into your back and letting go of any tightness.
And then feeling that breath also fill the space between your shoulders,
Bringing it,
Healing and relaxing and releasing all pain.
And continue to feel with your breath the energy in your arms,
Any frantic energy,
Letting that become still.
Feeling out and down your arms and out your fingertips,
Any tension.
And continuing your breath from your mouth down to your chest,
Feeling any tightness in your chest suddenly relax,
Releasing,
Reminding yourself that you are safe.
And you will be okay.
And then feeling that same breath now fill your belly,
Your abdomen,
The center of your being,
Any unsettledness in your gut,
Breathing into that space,
Giving it what it needs,
Giving it oxygen,
Giving it life,
Filling it completely.
And then letting that breath now continue down your back,
Into your legs.
Anything that's made you feel like running away,
That's put energy and activation into your legs,
Let it go now,
Let yourself settle still,
Knowing that you are safe.
You have nowhere to be except here,
And here is a good place to be.
Feeling your legs become even more heavy as you breathe into them that relaxation,
Letting the breath travel down to your shins,
Your feet,
And out your toes.
And now your body is so completely still and relaxed.
Now you can enter a time of deep meditation.
This is a time for your thinking mind to rest and your intuitive sensing to be fully attuned and engaged.
Give yourself permission to let go of the need to rationalize or have answers and simply sense with your inner awareness.
And so your subconscious mind will be fully attuned and activated right now.
That's right,
Very good.
With your intuition in the driver's seat,
Think of a time near a lake or ocean when you felt joy and peace.
Revisit that place now in your imagination.
Picture it in its entirety.
See the glistening sunlight on the water.
Hear the sound of the waves,
Birds,
And nature around you.
Feel the temperature of the air,
A perfect temperature,
Relaxing you even more.
Feel the air and the way it feels as the fresh,
Sweet-smelling air fills your lungs.
As you breathe in,
Feel that air fill you right now.
Sense the feeling of whatever surfaces beneath you.
Sense how it feels to be supported in this peaceful place.
Now focus your attention on the water.
Notice the quality of the waves,
Whether they're gentle or powerful.
Whatever they are,
Embrace them.
Sometimes in life,
The waves may seem stronger than we can handle,
And yet,
The shore remains.
So too can you weather any storm.
As you watch the waves crash and recede,
Imagine them taking away with them any fear,
Doubt,
Or self-judgment that remains in you.
With each wave,
You feel more and more free from challenging emotions.
With this next rhythm of ebbing and flowing,
Focus first on fear.
As the waves crash in front of you,
In all their might,
Release into them your worries about anything you have lost or might lose.
Allow yourself to be enveloped by a feeling of safety,
Security,
And that you always have what you need.
Feel that abundance wash over you now.
Trust grows more and more with each wave that follows.
Next focus on self-judgment.
As you watch the next wave crashing down in front of you,
Imagine it enveloping any harsh judgments about yourself,
Fading away that feeling,
And leaving in its wake self-love and compassion.
Feel love for your story and who you've grown to be.
This feeling grows more and more with each wave that follows.
Finally,
Focus on doubt.
As you watch the next wave crashing down in front of you,
Imagine it enveloping any self-doubt about your abilities and giftings,
Taking away that feeling of not enough,
And leaving in its wake a feeling of assuredness in your abilities,
Your gifts.
Confidence grows more and more with each wave that follows.
Now turn your attention to the sandy shore.
Feel your feet firmly planted in the sand beneath you,
Feeling confidence and assurance in your sense of belonging.
You belong and have a place on this earth.
Approach the water now.
Watch the waves become small,
Then still,
Until the water is like clear glass,
Perfectly still and peaceful.
Feel in you a sense of calm growing.
Drift deeper and deeper still into that perfectly relaxed state as you stare out on the water.
Approach the water,
If you have not already done so,
So that you are standing in shallow water.
Feel the warm water gently circling your ankles and legs,
Enveloping them in pure relaxation.
The water soothes your soul.
In a moment,
You'll be looking down into a reflection of yourself.
Before you do so,
Remember and carry with you into this moment the knowledge that you have released fear,
Self-doubt,
And self-judgment.
You will be looking at yourself with trust,
Confidence,
And self-compassion.
Now,
Crouch down to look closely at the water.
See your reflection looking back at you.
As you see yourself,
Notice the sunshine sparkle like gold on your hair.
See the beautiful calm blue of the water reflected in your gaze.
Now look deeper to your soul.
Notice in the reflection of yourself wisdom and growth.
Reflect anything else you see as you look at yourself now.
Now,
Still gazing at your reflection,
Invite God or a divine presence to reveal to you what they see,
How they see you.
What they created you made you uniquely you.
You are precious to them and loved unconditionally by them.
What do you see now?
What is beautiful about you?
What is strong in you?
What are the giftings within you?
Now focus your attention on the endless horizon full of possibilities.
Looking out fills you with excitement for the adventure that lies ahead.
You feel more and more ready to take that next step towards your next adventure.
Filled with a deep sense of confidence and self-awareness,
You feel ready to boldly step into something new.
You now recognize that you don't need to have all the answers before taking a step.
You feel confident you can begin moving in a general direction.
The answers will come as you go.
The path will reveal itself as you walk towards your hopes and longings.
You feel excitement,
Motivation,
And confidence multiply more and more as you look out at this beautiful landscape and out to the great beyond.
And now it's time to leave this peaceful place where you can leave confident that you are taking with you a sense of security,
Confidence,
And self-compassion.
When you are ready,
Take some bold steps along the shore representing movement towards your purpose,
Towards hopes,
Dreams,
And goals you have.
Step towards them right now.
You can take with you any images that give you a feeling of hope and assuredness and release anything that's simply not helpful.
Whatever struck you most will remain imprinted in your mind.
You know that you have everything within you that you need to grow and become who you were made to be.

Begin to focus back on your breath,

Bringing energy and awareness back into your body,
