Hello and welcome.
My name is Annabelle and in today's meditation,
We are going to be addressing the feelings of missing out.
I invite you to lay down,
Get comfortable.
And if you feel ready,
Starting to close your eyes,
We're going to start to calm our nervous system down by focusing on our breath.
Noticing if you're breathing in and out of your nose or your mouth and then noticing where that breath is going.
Is it filling your chest or is it filling your belly?
There's no right or wrong,
We're just getting curious.
Noticing how long your inhale is and how long your exhale is.
I want you to notice how safe and calm you feel.
And notice what parts of your body are being held by the chair,
By the ground.
And how can you sink into that space even further?
How can you relax your body even more than it already is?
Now I want these feelings to rush over you as you notice how appreciated you are.
In this meditation,
We're going to go deep and start to heal parts of your subconscious.
Because the truth is you are so loved,
You're so worthy.
And sometimes we forget that.
So I want you to think back,
Could be recent,
Could be years ago,
But think back to a time when you felt really left out.
Could it be by friends,
Family,
Colleagues?
And sit with the feeling inside you.
Does it make you feel tight or tense?
Does it make you want to think of anything else?
Does the thought of being left out make you want to get up and leave this practice altogether?
It's a scary,
Difficult feeling.
And it's a feeling we all have.
So often we run away from our feelings.
And today we get to use the energy and that power to have a better,
Happier life.
I want you to think of the story that you tell yourself when you feel left out.
If you finish the sentence of,
I was left out because of,
That is what we are focusing on.
You weren't left out because of how you look or who you are.
The truth is,
Not all friendships,
Not all people in our lives are going to be there forever.
And whilst self-improvement is always amazing,
You can never improve yourself enough for the wrong people.
I want you to take that thought,
That end of that sentence,
And channel it back to,
Do you think you are too much of that?
Do you resent yourself because of that reason?
Do you have trouble finding love for yourself?
I want you to imagine a version of yourself,
They could be older,
They could be younger.
Maybe the first time you were ever left out comes to mind.
Could be the version of yourself from an hour ago.
I want you to look at that person,
That version of you,
And I want you to find love for them for that exact reason.
I want you to tell them that they are lovable,
Even with whatever story you told yourself that makes you sometimes think you're not.
I want you to hold them and embrace them.
I want you to let them know that you will always be there for them,
That they are always enough for the right people,
That they're perfect,
That you see them and appreciate them,
That you appreciate all their little quirks,
All of their uniquenesses.
That you see their beauty,
You see their passion,
And that you truly love them.
Is there anything else you want to say to the other version of you?
Giving them a hug,
Holding their hand and taking them with you.
I want you to walk back into the room you're currently in,
Feeling that energy.
I want you to start feeling your body again.
The weight of your shoulders,
The tingling of your palms,
Your breath flowing in and out of your body,
Noticing the heaviness of your legs.
Taking one more deep breath as you slowly start to move your fingers and toes,
Rolling your shoulders back,
Taking another heart-centered breath,
Sighing it out.
And when you're ready,
Opening your eyes,
Looking at me and saying these words with me,
I am enough,
I am loved,
It is safe to choose me.
I love you so much,
And I hope you have a wonderful day.
