Hello,
My name is Georgia Bazin and this is a guided meditation.
There will be points at which my voice will not be heard,
But you will know it's come to the end when I say thank you.
I'd like you to find yourself somewhere comfortable to sit or lie down.
Somewhere where your back is supported and that your neck doesn't slump down.
And I'd like you to just let your breath settle.
Settle into your body's own innate wisdom.
Nothing to have to time,
Nothing to have to do.
Just be your uniqueness of life breathing.
And as you settle into this,
You'll notice the busyness of your mind.
Because the minute we start to slow down,
Our mind revs up.
It tends to battle quiet.
I'd like you to make an active choice to move that narrative.
Like you were looking at ticker tape at the bottom of a television screen.
That all this information it wants to feed you,
Just runs along the bottom of the screen.
Nothing to have to do with it.
Nothing to have to stop.
Nothing to have to fight against.
It's just flowing energy that we're designed to put words to.
It's actually not about you.
A bit like the white noise of television.
Just full of ideas,
Concepts,
Beliefs.
But nothing about you.
So settle into your breathing.
And as you do,
I'd like you to imagine,
From your feet,
Beautiful,
Strong,
Vibrant roots
Pushing down through the soil
Into Gaia,
Mother Earth.
Pushing past stones and rocks.
Pushing through resistance and pushing through softness
Towards the centre of the Earth
Where there is a warm glow
That you wrap your roots around
Anchoring you to this present moment.
I'd like you to let that warmth from the middle of Mother Earth rise up your roots
All the way up through the soles of your feet
Your shin and your calves to your knees
And up through your thighs and the back of your legs to your buttocks and pelvis.
Feel that warmth circle around.
Feel its life-giving force
In your base chakra.
And then let that warmth rise up
Your abdomen and into your chest cavity
As it touches your heart
All the way up your spine
Rising to your shoulders
And then down your arms
Your elbows
Then your wrists
The palm and the back of your hands and then your fingers.
Let it rise up the back of your neck
Wash over your head
Your eyes settle back
Your cheekbones,
Your mouth and your jaw
And your throat
Are just bathed in this feeling of
Quiet connection to Mother Earth
Where time
Ceases to exist
Except for now
Now in the connection to your breath
Now watching the tick-tick
Now as the
Solidity of your body
Starts to not exist
Starts to fray at the edges
That you become aware of the space within you
The watcher of all of this
The consciousness that resides in your
Physical existence
That is of infinite origin
Whether you call it God,
Universal Thought
Source,
Buddha,
Energy
There is just an awareness of the fact that you are conscious
You are a being
Without face,
Without form
Without religion,
Without ideas and beliefs
That that space within you is also outside of you
And beyond a you
That actually
There isn't a you in this space
There is nothing to be hurt
Nothing to feel pain,
Nothing to heal
Nothing to laugh
Nothing to feel joy
You are just a pure state of consciousness
Existing now
And yet in this place of now
In this consciousness
Everything exists
Every possibility exists
There is no end and no beginning
There is just this consciousness
That is the watcher of a human experience
And in that human experience
Thought is encountered
In that human experience
A body is encountered
In that human experience
Creation is encountered
In that space
Life is just life unfolding
Without control
Just unfolding
One moment after the next,
After the next
That your past is no longer there
That the future is truly unknown
But for this touching of the space of
I am something here
That the not knowing
Is freeing
Is freedom
To live life and this experience in no one way
No right way,
No wrong way
Just life unfolding
With no ideas about the unfolding
That you as a finite mind
Are created by an infinite mind
Or an infinite being
And that that infinite being
Is what resides and has created
This finite being that you think you are
But that when you step out of what you think you are
There is a feeling of actually what truth is
That you are a vibration of the energy of all things
You are universal intelligence
You are creative genius
You are not your conditioning
You are not society's ideas
You are not constrained by your ethnicity
You are not constrained by your gender
Because what you truly are
Is this space of infinite consciousness
Playing in a human form
As you come back to your breath
You notice that you didn't notice anymore the ticker tape
That disappeared
So you can't be that
Because I am never disappears
It is touchable in every moment
It is unchanging
