Mind Block Visualization
by Gail Freis
Join me in removing blocks that form in our paths. A visualization that helps to logically see something in the physical in our mind's eye, while energetically helping our subconscious see the ease with which it can be removed. Use this as often as needed. Whenever a new block forms or an old one resurfaces, utilize this to support your efforts in moving past them.

Today,
We are going to spend our time together finding some blocks in our paths,
Identifying them,
Understanding the feelings they represent,
And then we're going to remove them.
Blocks are impeding our success.
They keep us from the things we desire,
The goals and wants and needs we have for our personal and professional lives.
Today we are going to remove some of these.
Come back to this as often as you'd like.
We sometimes need to repeat something more than once or twice,
Depending on the level it's ingrained or how attached we are to the behavior or feelings,
Even if we are not aware of it.
So when you are removing something,
If it doesn't immediately go away,
That should tell you just how attached to it that you are,
Consciously or unconsciously.
Take a moment to relax,
To breathe,
To reshape the space you are in.
You are not working right now.
You are not driving,
Carpooling,
Cooking,
Cleaning,
Or any other activity.
Those things will wait.
Deep breath in.
The intrusive thoughts will come,
So we just brush them away as though they are nothing.
They will be there when you are done here.
Take a deep breath in,
Hold it for four,
And release it for four.
Again,
In for four,
Two,
Three,
Four,
Release it for four,
Two,
Three,
Four.
This breath pattern regulates our nervous system and gives it the signal that you are safe,
Balanced,
And gives you more focus capability.
Take another deep breath in,
Count to seven,
Hold for four,
Release.
Release the tension of the day.
Release the thoughts that do not serve this practice.
Deep breath in for seven.
Think of the blocks you are here to work on.
Hold.
Ingrained thoughts,
Ingrained blocks,
And release.
One more count.
One,
Two,
Three,
Four,
Five,
Six,
Seven.
Hold for four,
Two,
Three,
Four,
And release for four.
Release those blocks.
Be ready to let them go.
We are going to imagine a block in our path,
And we are going to name each one.
Only focus on one at a time.
We will go through this a couple times to remove a couple of different ways that blocks can appear without us realizing it.
These will help you create the visual needed to physically remove the intangible.
You can do the same block more than once,
Or you can do different blocks as we go through this.
Maybe you are blocked by insecurity,
Self-worth,
Or imposter syndrome.
Maybe you have control issues that are not allowing you to enjoy life.
Perhaps it's anger,
Frustration,
Or a specific person or situation that needs to be removed.
Even if it's the voice of someone from the past that is still haunting you and influencing your decisions.
It could be anything from poor financial mindset,
Health,
To a person,
Place,
Thing,
Or specific situation.
Let it go.
In our path,
As we are walking or running,
You come to the first rock in your way.
Set the stage.
Are you in Arizona in the Red Rocks?
Are you in Colorado climbing a mountain?
Are you in Switzerland?
Are you in New York on the Adirondack Mountains?
Where are you?
Are you just simply walking around your streets?
This rock,
This block is a tangible thing that is in your way.
A boss or coworker blocking you from a promotion,
Not being proficient in something you wish to be.
Whatever the block is,
You have a bag with you.
So pull out a Sharpie that's in your bag and put it on this first obstacle,
The block you have.
Write it on the rock.
Now that you have identified this block,
We are going to move it.
If it's a boulder the size of your home or a pebble,
This is it.
This is in direct proportion to how big of a block it is.
If you imagined something immovable,
This is your subconscious' way of letting you know it's not to be ignored.
Whether you know it or not,
It's not to be ignored.
Your subconscious is seeing this as something big.
Even if it's not,
Even if it's imagined,
Your subconscious is treating this as something big.
This block,
This boulder,
This rock is in between you and the desire you have.
A husband,
Kids,
A promotion,
Freedom,
More money,
A calmer,
Quieter life.
Whatever you want out of life,
This is one of the things blocking you from getting what you want.
Are you willing to let it go?
Are you attached to the feeling?
Are you attached to being stuck?
It's okay if you are.
That is why you are here today.
You wouldn't be here listening to me if you were not ready to let it go.
We all have things we don't realize are attachments until we clearly see them as the blocks standing between a life desired and the stagnant life we are currently subsisting in,
Even if it's just a small portion of that life.
Go back to the bag that you have with you.
Inside the bag,
You're going to find a stick.
It's not just a stick.
It's a wand.
It's a Harry Potter wand.
You didn't know you had it,
But you do.
You had the power all along to remove this block out of your way.
You have been standing in front of this block for days,
Months,
Years,
Trying to figure out how to remove it.
And all this time,
You had the power in your hand.
With the wand in your hand,
Flick the wand and say goodbye to this block.
You might find that the first or second time you flick the wand,
It's still there.
This is just letting you know how deeply ingrained this is.
If you need to come back to this a second or third time,
That just lets you know that it's something that needs to be worked on a little bit more.
And it's a little deeply ingrained.
If it were a pebble,
It's much easier to believe in the wand's abilities.
If it were a small thing,
It'd be much easier to believe it could be removed.
And again,
Until you remove it.
Until you decide it's worth removing the block you are attached to.
Congratulations.
If it's still there,
You know you need to come back to this one a couple of more times.
But we can assume,
Since you've done some work on it,
It's smaller.
The big boulder,
The big rock,
Is now a smaller rock.
Possibly even small enough for you just to walk around the next time you come back to it.
If you really do want to remove it,
It's now easier to get rid of.
You chipped away at it.
Congratulations.
Keep walking down the path,
Wherever you are.
Are you on your street?
Are you in the mountains?
Are you hiking a path?
Wherever you are,
Keep walking.
Just like in life,
We don't stop.
We keep going,
No matter what blocks come our way.
As you're walking,
Think of what the next block is.
Are you going to do the same one again,
Or do you have another one you'd like to work on?
Big or small,
Whatever it is that comes to mind is what needs to be removed.
Don't overthink it.
As you come across the next block,
Decide how big is this?
Is it a small rock?
Is it a big one?
And take out your writing utensil again.
And when you decide what it is,
Write it down on the block.
Write the block down.
Is this a person?
Is it a spouse or a loved one?
An old lover,
Or is it even you?
A version of you,
A version of this person that you are still giving your power to?
We're going to eliminate that person,
That power that you have given them,
That you're giving to yourself,
Right now.
This time,
We don't need a special tool in your bag.
We are so dedicated to removing this block.
All we need is our strength.
The strength of will and mind that you are going to utilize after this visualization.
This is the exact strength you need to move it.
Focus on it.
Relax.
It's like picking up a feather.
This immovable boulder is light,
Like a feather,
Like a small pebble.
You are the reason it was in your path,
And you are the reason it will be easily removed.
You no longer need it.
This boulder taught you that you are your best asset.
You are the strongest person you know.
The boulder,
No matter how big it is,
No matter what size it is,
You pick it up as though it was nothing.
And you move it.
Keep trying until it's moved.
And just like the last rock we got to,
If it takes time,
That just tells you how deeply ingrained this block is.
And it might need to take another try,
Another day,
Another attempt.
Congratulations.
Whether this rock is moved,
Or if this block is still there a little bit,
It's smaller.
It's more manageable.
And you know that now it feels lighter.
You feel lighter.
You feel better.
You feel like you can tackle the world again.
You can tackle your day again.
Whatever this block was,
Is no longer a problem for you.
Even if it's still there a little bit,
You know that you have diminished it with very little effort by simply focusing in your mind that it was something that you needed.
Something you needed to do.
And so,
It is.
It's gone.
Take a deep breath in.
And hold it for four.
Two,
Three,
Four.
And release.
A deep,
Cleansing release.
You are breathing in again,
And holding it for four,
And releasing.
A deep release.
This is in conjunction with you releasing those blocks.
The weight of those blocks.
The heaviness that they were.
Breathe in.
Release.
You don't have time,
Or the need,
Or the desire to carry rocks that don't belong to you.
