Close your eyes if that feels right.

Let your body settle just as it is.

There is no need to fix or hold anything right now.

You have entered a space where nothing is required of you.

You are allowed to be.

You are allowed to feel.

Begin by noticing your breath.

Soft,

Natural,

Yours.

Let your inhale be gentle and your exhale soft.

Maybe like a long sigh,

Releasing the weight of the day.

Inhaling and exhaling.

Let your shoulders drop.

Let your jaw relax.

Let your hands be open if that feels right.

You are here.

You are safe.

This space belongs to you.

Now take a moment to notice the way your body touches the earth.

Feel the support underneath you.

It's steady.

It's holding you.

Nothing to do.

Just being.

Imagine the air around you growing softer.

Warmer.

As if the very space is holding you too.

With every breath,

The edges of your day begin to blur and you begin to feel a quiet shift,

Like drifting into a dream.

Breathing in and breathing out.

You find yourself standing on the path.

The light here is golden and low.

Like a dusk just beginning.

A morning just breaking.

You're not in a rush.

There is no time here.

Only presence.

Feel your feet on the earth beneath you.

Solid,

Familiar.

You begin to walk slowly,

Each step grounding you into this peaceful place.

As you walk,

Notice the world around you.

Soft rustle of leaves.

The sound of distant water.

Birds calling gently in the trees.

The air has a scent.

Earthy,

Clean.

Maybe laced with lavender or pine.

Let your breath deepen as you take it all in.

The color of the sky.

The texture of the air.

The way your skin tangles,

Just slightly in this in-between space.

And then,

Ahead,

You see something.

A place that feels meaningful.

Perhaps even sacred.

It might be a small cottage with a warm light in the window.

Or a quiet clearing in the woods.

Or maybe a garden blooming with flowers you thought you'd forgotten.

Whatever comes to your mind,

Trust it.

This is your place.

The one your soul remembers.

You step inside of this place.

You feel the temperature shift.

Warmer or cooler.

Just right for you.

You notice the scent in the air.

Maybe it reminds you of something or someone.

You feel your body soften here.

It's safe.

And it's waiting.

As you settle into the space,

You begin to sense something or someone.

It starts as a feeling.

The air grows warmer.

Thicker.

Almost electric.

A knowing in your chest.

A pull in your heart.

And then you see them.

The one you've lost.

The one you've carried in memory,

Longing.

There is no need to rush.

Just notice.

How do they appear to you?

Younger.

Older.

Peaceful.

Vibrant.

Let yourself take them in.

Their posture.

Their energy.

Their presence.

Maybe they speak.

Maybe they don't.

Maybe they simply sit with you and that's enough.

Let this moment unfold however it wants to.

If you feel emotion rising,

Let it come.

There is a space here.

You can cry.

You can smile.

Or you can just sit in silence.

Time slows.

You may want to speak.

You may want to listen.

Or simply stay in the stillness together.

Maybe you feel warmth in your chest.

Or pressure in your throat.

You may feel absolutely nothing.

Just quiet.

And that's okay too.

Let there be space now.

To feel.

To be.

To stay in this moment.

As long as your heart needs.

As long as you need.

And when you're ready,

Not before,

Gently bring your awareness back to your surroundings.

In the dream.

Offer your loved one a word.

A gesture.

A look.

Whatever feels true for goodbye.

Or maybe see you again.

Allow yourself to feel gratitude.

Grief.

Or both.

And let the moment be exactly what it is.

Nothing more is needed.

You begin to walk back down the path.

The air shifts again.

The trees,

The sky,

The sounds all walk with you.

You carry with you a thread of connection.

Light.

Golden.

And real.

And slowly,

Softly,

You begin to return.

Notice the sensations of your body again.

The weight of you.

The temperature of the air in the room.

The breath that's been with you all along.

Inhaling.

And exhaling.

Inhaling.

And exhaling.

One more time.

Inhaling.

You're here.

You're safe.

And you're never truly alone.
