As humans, we live in cycles, what I like to call our own "Method for Being." This meditation walks us through the cycle of Letting Go, Awareness, Confidence, and Letting Go, again. Use this track at any time of day to reground and connect with the truest cycle of You and Your Being.

Hello,

My friend,

And thank you.

Thank you so much for deciding to spend real time with yourself today.

It's always so fascinating how much time we spend with things and other people,

And how we sometimes forget to really spend time with ourselves.

So let's get started.

Find yourself in a comfortable position.

You can either sit up or lie down.

Let yourself feel your spine,

Tall,

Straight,

But not rigid or stiff.

Feel yourself become loose.

Feel your belly become soft.

Let your shoulders move away from your ears.

Feel the muscles in your face relax.

Relax the tightness in your knees,

In your joints,

In your wrists.

Relax.

And thank yourself.

Thank you,

Self,

For being here today.

I believe we all experience a cycle,

A cycle of being aware and needing to feel confident,

Feeling confident and needing to let go,

Surrendering and needing to become aware again.

So let's begin there.

Breathe in deeply,

Filling the belly and into the chest.

Exhale with a sigh.

And again,

One more time,

Letting anything from the day go.

Anything from yesterday,

We let go.

The feeling is to surrender.

Whether these things that we may need to do or think or make or get done,

None of them are here right now.

Now we are in acceptance that what is meant for us will find us.

It will not pass us by that something bigger out there is with us,

Creating with us,

Guiding us with our very best interest at heart.

Even at times we don't know exactly what that is,

But we let go.

We let go the fear of not knowing,

The anxiety of expectations,

Even the excitement and eagerness to move forward.

We let go.

We let go of the planning,

The judgments,

The mistakes.

We let go of trying to make things perfect,

Worrying if they'll be exactly right.

We let it go.

Breathe in,

Feeling this feeling of lightness,

Of surrender.

What color is this feeling for you?

What color is the feeling of letting go?

Is it bright?

Is it pastel?

Is it dark?

What texture is this color?

Is it smooth?

Is it bubbly?

If you had to reach out and touch surrender with your fingertips,

What does it look like?

What does it feel like to the touch?

Now hold this feeling,

This color,

This texture,

This surrender,

This letting go.

Feel yourself moving,

Moving and flowing through your cycle and blossoming like a new plant in curiosity,

A curious plant now having let go of what you already may know or think you may know,

Has now put you in the perfect position to see,

To sense.

Imagine experiencing your senses for the very first time.

What sounds do you hear?

Are they loud or soft,

Distant or close?

How does the sound affect the rest of your body?

As you breathe,

What smells do you smell?

Can you feel the breath on the tip of your nose as you inhale in?

Is it cool?

As you exhale,

Is your mouth open or closed?

Is there a taste in your mouth?

Is it dry or is it sticky and warm?

As you use your senses to explore your current experience with the curiosity of a child,

Let yourself feel the corners of your lips turn into a smile,

Because this is your job.

This is your only job,

To sense each experience with wonder,

New,

Brand new.

What does this exploration feel like,

This curiosity?

What color is this exploration for you?

What color is the curiosity of your senses?

As a child exploring for the very first time,

Does it have a texture?

This feeling of exploration,

Sensing,

Taking it in.

What color and texture is this curiosity?

And breathe.

Moving along with the cycle,

I invite you to feel proud.

Proud for taking the time to spend with yourself.

I'd like for you to imagine what was the time in your life that you really felt great confidence.

You were sure,

You were proud.

Imagine yourself there now.

Was it something you made,

Something you accomplished?

Or was it that felt just right,

Where you felt safe,

Where you felt seen,

Where you felt powerful,

Where you felt proud?

I invite you to imagine this confidence like a light,

Shooting itself throughout your entire body.

A light of confidence shooting through your veins.

You are exactly where you need to be.

What color is this feeling?

This I've got this feeling.

This this is meant for me.

Nothing and no one can stop me feeling.

What is this feelings color?

This I trust myself.

I trust in this moment.

What texture is this feeling?

Is it bright?

Is it sharp?

Is it hard?

Soft?

Smooth?

Now breathe in and exhale.

Again breathe in and exhale.

Don't let the colors and textures of this experience you've just had flow through you.

Can you remember the color and texture of letting go?

Thank you for spending the time today moving through yourself with me.

Remembering the feelings that you experienced.

The color and texture of those feelings.

As you wiggle your fingers and toes coming back to the room,

Open your chest and with a sigh of your exhale,

Open your eyes.

Identifying color and texture really helps me be able to hold on to the feelings whenever I’m outside of a meditative state- i like having something tangible to take away from a meditation. Also, Fiona’s voice is so soothing and calming-in addition to more meditations , she needs to have a whole story-telling bedtime series!

This track is organic and peaceful, while also very powerful. It’s perfect for people who have done meditation before. For newbies, it will also provide a wonderful and balanced session because Fiona spends time at the top getting the listener to get into the right energy. And it’s so deliberate. I also love the length. 12-ish minutes is great. 10/10 track!
