Your predisposition by birth and your current surroundings influence what qualities are enhanced and prominent in your life at the moment. For example, city life makes you direct, hard, and fast. Spending time in the spa makes you slow, soft, and indirect. Now, all these qualities can serve you at certain times, none of them are good or bad. But enhancing certain qualities before you need them, can be a very effective way to improve the experience of any situation you might find yourself in. This specific meditation will enhance the soft quality. This can be useful after a long day at work, or a competitive game where the quality hard is dominant. Or you want to start your weekend or time with the family and you want to be in the right mindset. However quality soft can serve you, use this meditation to enhance it.

Welcome to today's meditation.

Find a comfortable seating position and slowly come to stillness with your eyes closed.

Today's meditation will enhance the quality soft back to a natural state where harmony and recovery can take place.

We will let go of the quality hard and embrace the quality soft.

Take a few breaths now to arrive in a calm state of mind.

Take your time,

Let a few more thoughts wander around your marvellous brain for a moment before finding stillness and quiet.

Now try to focus inwards,

Check in with yourself.

How do you feel?

Do you feel the quality hard or soft dominant within you?

How does your mind feel?

How does your body feel?

How does your spiritual self feel?

What is your emotional state?

How much of the quality hard and how much of the quality soft is present within you in this very moment?

Feel and connect to yourself.

So now,

Before we say goodbye to the quality hard,

Let us be grateful for it.

Consciously create gratefulness for the quality hard.

Hard can serve you,

Protect you,

Make you strong,

Activate your muscles,

It lets you be courageous and stable,

But now in this moment,

Hard is not needed anymore,

So take a moment to thank your hard quality before you let it go.

With every breath you take now,

Feel the quality hard disappear.

Trust that it can come back whenever you need it,

But for now,

Soften your body,

Soften your mind,

Soften your being.

With every breath,

Allow yourself to let go of the quality hard.

Imagine a conversation you will have after the meditation and picture and observe yourself how soft you are talking,

How gentle your body language,

How engaged and connected you are.

Embrace softness.

Embrace softness in your mind and your body.

Feel your breath softening,

Effortless,

Melting,

Gentle,

Soft breathing.

Feel your thoughts softening,

Loving,

Caring,

Relaxed,

Soft thoughts.

Feel your attitude softening,

Non-reactive,

Observing,

Gentle,

A soft attitude.

For the next five exhales,

Say the word soft in your mind every time you breathe out.

Say it five times.

Feel your entire body and mind softening.

Now,

Slowly reconnect with the world around you.

Without losing your softness,

Slowly become conscious of where you are and what you want to do next.

Stay soft,

Both in your body and in your mind,

While you come out of your meditation.

Slowly move some fingers,

Whilst staying soft.

Slowly open your eyes,

Whilst staying soft.

Stay soft.

This is the end of your meditation.
