Erin Rae Marsala is a certified Yoga Teacher and Continuing Education Provider based in Cooperstown, New York. Her teachings are rooted in the belief that yoga is a practice of coming home—to the body, the breath, and the present moment. With a focus on slow, intentional movement and deep presence, Erin guides students toward self-embodiment and inner exploration. Her classes create space for a grounded, personal practice that honors each individual’s unique journey. Erin first came to yoga in her twenties, seeking to “fix” herself after years of neglecting her physical and mental well-being. What she found instead was a profound realization: there was nothing to fix. Yoga became a path of self-acceptance, healing, and connection—a journey that also led her to embrace sobriety and veganism as expressions of her commitment to mindful, compassionate living. Her studies have taken her to India and Mexico, where she immersed herself in classical yoga and philosophy. She has also completed advanced training in trauma-conscious yoga, yoga nidra, yin yoga, anatomy and biomechanics, chair yoga, and yoga for movement disorders. Drawing from both ancient wisdom and modern understanding, Erin offers an inclusive and thoughtful approach to yoga—one that meets students exactly where they are.
