Welcome to another empowered way meditation.
This is called being still.
Find a quiet place and take a comfortable seat.
Sit up tall and close your eyes.
Breathe patiently and fully,
Yet deeply and quietly.
In through your nose,
Down the back of your throat,
And all the way to your stomach as it expands.
And exhale through your nose,
Back out.
Give yourself permission to do nothing.
Give yourself permission to embrace this moment of stillness in which there is nothing at all that needs to be done other than staying here,
Being still,
And watching your breath.
As you watch your breath,
Your mind is open and relaxed.
It is becoming spacious.
Place a small amount of attention on anything that your mind or body is experiencing.
Notice if you have discomfort and bring your awareness to the discomfort and accept it.
You are here to be still and just to be.
If your mind wanders off toward the future or goes back to the past,
Just notice that.
And then go back to being still.
Each time you notice,
Acknowledge the distraction,
And with the loving patience of a compassionate elder,
Give your mind permission to rest.
Give your mind permission to rest.
Your mind is now settled.
You are at peace and you are still.
Without thinking of your breath,
Be present with your breath.
Without thinking of your body,
Be present with it.
Feel into the space of your breath and into the space of your body as your mind is still.
Allow your mind to feel the spaciousness of your breath and the spaciousness of your body.
You are open and completely at ease.
Allow the mind to drop into joy,
The bliss of no longer needing to do or be anything other than to sit and be here right now,
The bliss of simply being.
You are no longer fighting against the movement of the mind or any rising thoughts.
This too is simply a way to be.
Chase nothing.
Distractions arise,
But there's nothing to do with them.
All you have to do is notice,
Acknowledge,
And love.
And you will find yourself again in the spaciousness of presence in the body and in the breath.
Feel into the preciousness of this moment,
This quiet and relative stillness.
Recognize that it is part of you and its beauty is enmeshed in your body.
When you allow the spaciousness to be seen,
You discover yourself.
Give yourself permission to stay here right now for as long as you'd like because there's nowhere to go,
There's nothing to do,
And there's nothing more sacred or worthy than you being present right here,
Right now.
Give yourself permission to be still.
Embrace this moment.
This is who you are,
Here in the stillness of the mind.
Embrace this moment.
This is who you are,
Here in the stillness.
And because you are here,
You are worthy.
You are loved and you are love.
This is the secret to living a peaceful,
Abundant and joyful life,
Spending time in the stillness of you.
So take one long,
Slow,
Deep breath in to anchor this feeling of bliss in your body.
And as you move and begin to come back and open your eyes,
Know that you can return to the spaciousness at any time.
You just follow your breath.
That's all you have to do is follow your breath,
And you will be home.
