Today let's talk about the intelligence of the body and the dance between the conscious and the unconscious.
Now often we talk about the power of the mind and how amazing it is,
Yet we overlook the intelligence of the human body.
Now this vessel not only sustains life,
But also communicates with both the conscious and the unconscious realms.
So let's delve into the body's intuitive wisdom,
Its interaction with our mental processes and how this relationship impacts our experiences,
Particularly when you're dealing with unhealed trauma.
The body and the mind are in constant dialogue and it's a symbiotic relationship where each influences the other.
Our conscious mind is what handles our thoughts,
Our decisions and the stuff that we're aware of.
It's the voluntary thoughts,
While our unconscious mind stores the memories and the emotions and the learned behaviours.
This unconscious part often holds the key to the unexplained physical responses like fear or anxiety in seemingly non-threatening situations.
These are often the body's way of signalling unresolved issues or memories.
Our bodies have a unique way of storing experiences,
Particularly traumatic ones.
Trauma,
Whether it's physical or emotional,
Leaves an imprint on our bodies and this phenomenon explains why certain triggers can cause fear or anxiety,
Even when our conscious mind isn't actively scared.
It's the body remembering and reacting to a past event and it's a primal response designed for survival.
So when we encounter stimuli similar to a past traumatic event,
Our body unconsciously activates these memories.
It could be a sound or a smell or an emotion that closely resembles past trauma.
And this activation is not just a mental recall,
But it's a full body experience.
Our heart rate might increase,
Our muscles might tense,
All without our conscious awareness of the reason.
And remembering that trauma doesn't have to be a singular big event.
It can be little things like it doesn't matter what it is,
If it makes you feel inherently unsafe,
It's going to become a traumatic response somewhere in your body.
Beyond the physical or the psychological,
The intricate dance between our bodies and our mind also resonates at a metaphysical level,
Touching the very essence of our soul and our spirit.
Energetically,
Trauma can create blockages or imbalances in our chakras or our energy centres.
And this is what disrupts our spiritual harmony.
This dissonance can manifest as a feeling of being stuck or like this deep-seated uneasiness that transcends physical or emotional symptoms.
Now on a soul level,
These experiences often beckon for a journey of self-discovery and spiritual awakening.
The process of addressing and healing trauma becomes an opportunity for soul growth.
And it allows individuals to transcend their past experiences and connect more profoundly with their authentic selves.

It can lead to chronic stress,
Anxiety and a world of health issues.
The healing involves integrating the body memories with our conscious understanding.
Therapies like somatic or trauma-informed care,
It's what focuses on reconnecting the body and the mind,
Allowing for that safe space to process and release the stored traumas.
Unlocking the intelligence of our body and its interplay with our mind opens a path to healing and understanding that is so deep and so profound.
It can make such a massive impact in your life,
It's so rewarding.
And it's a journey towards recognising our body's signals,
Understanding the origins and ultimately healing from within.
Embracing this body and mind wisdom is not just about overcoming past traumas.
It's about empowering ourselves to live more fully and more consciously and in a way that's more aligned with ourselves authentically.
