This is a gentle, soothing meditation to use when you are feeling heavy and aren't sure why, or passing through a hard time and need support in creating space in your day to meet yourself deeply. You will be guided through a brief and soothing visualization, and then given space to see what wants to be felt and expressed.

Welcome to your visualization for connecting with and creating a safe and loving space to feel and release your pain.

I would suggest finding a really comfortable position where you feel warm that can be seated lying down in your bed or somewhere else and just begin to come into focus with your body.

Close your eyes when you feel ready and if you feel safe to do so.

Just take three slow inhales through your nose expanding into your belly and exhaling through your mouth effortlessly.

As you breathe allow yourself to come into a space of stillness,

Gentleness,

Compassion,

And non-judgment with yourself.

Allowing yourself to fully and completely relax in this moment.

As you return to your normal breath begin to visualize yourself seated.

As you're sitting there still,

Perhaps at peace perhaps not,

Two hands that are holding a blanket drop in and begin to wrap your body in this blanket.

Take a moment to notice whose hands are there.

They could be yours,

Your higher self,

Parent,

Friend,

Loved one,

Spirit of some kind,

An angel.

Just receive the blanket and allow these hands to tuck you in completely encompassing your whole body and as you sit there with this blanket on you,

You feel its warmth.

You feel your entire body relaxing into its holding.

You feel your head begin to release its worries.

Your jaw begin to soften.

Your neck and shoulders soften and slowly piece by piece your body completely relaxes into this blanket.

Into this blanket of deep love,

Deep caring,

Deep acceptance,

Non-judgment,

Deep trust.

Take some moments to feel the blanket,

The alchemy of the blanket.

Begin to interact with your energy.

Begin to soften places that have felt hard.

Begin to bring warmth to places that have been closed off or cold.

Just be with yourself here.

What is arising?

What is ready to be seen,

To be felt,

To be acknowledged?

What is ready to be released?

If you feel something in a place of your body,

Just gently deep loving energy put your hand on that place and if you feel an emotion arise where thoughts or fears arise,

Just be with them.

You are safe to hold them.

You are safe to be with them.

They cannot hurt you.

If they are rising,

They are ready to be let go.

You are held by the blanket.

If your mind pops in,

That's okay.

Whether it be with a distraction or critique,

Whether it be with racing thoughts,

It's all okay.

Just acknowledge it.

Hey mind,

I know you don't want me to experience this pain because it feels so scary,

But I can trust my heart and I can trust my body and I promise that I will be just fine.

Thank you for taking care of me.

We are okay.

Staying wrapped in the blanket,

Continuing to feel its warmth,

How it radiates love and understanding,

Protection and healing.

Letting your body sink further into it.

I'm going to leave you in this divine blanket that will forevermore be wrapped around you to be with whatever is coming up right now.

Allowing the gentleness of the blanket,

Allowing the alchemy of the blanket,

Allowing its protection to just hold you with whatever you're feeling in this moment.

Stay here until you feel like you are ready to get up,

Until your body is fully ready to get up.

If you fall into a sleeping state,

Trust that.

If you desire to write or move when you're ready,

Trust that.

This loving space can hold whatever is ready to arise.

Take your time and I'll be waiting on the other side to hear what comes up for you.
