So today I will be talking about affirmations and how they can help us transform our lives on a subconscious level and a conscious level.

So it doesn't matter if affirmations are something new to you or something that you've already implemented into your daily life.

Affirmations are something that all of us can incorporate either into our daily life or into however often whenever we want.

It doesn't have to be a daily thing,

But I highly recommend if you want to use affirmations in a form of manifesting and to help clear limiting beliefs and subconscious beliefs to use them daily.

That's just gonna help you the most,

But it's definitely not something that needs to happen every single day.

So what is an affirmation?

When you Google it,

An affirmation is the process or action to affirm something or for emotional support or encouragement.

And what is the meaning of affirm?

You know,

Whenever you look up definitions and like the word is within the definition,

It's always like,

Okay,

Well,

You know,

I always say affirmations.

I always find that it's a little frustrating when you're looking up a definition,

But the word affirm can mean to stay as a fact,

Assert strongly,

Or it can also mean to offer encouragement or support.

I like to think of affirmations as words that are strung together to create ideas that we want in our reality.

For example,

Any I am statement,

Like I am loved,

I am love,

Those fall under the category of an affirmation.

And I also believe that any form of gratitude and prayer counts as an affirmation.

So saying,

Thank you,

I love you is just as much as an affirmation as saying I am loved.

When can we use affirmations?

Where can we implement them in our lives?

I think anytime.

I'm a big fan of using affirmations throughout my day.

But some of the personal,

Some personal examples that I suggest of what I do is when I'm making or eating food,

When I'm about to drink water or while I'm drinking water,

When I'm going to the bathroom or in the morning,

If I'm any during like a skincare routine and washing my face,

Taking a bath or a shower,

Any sort of like cleansing of yourself,

Affirmations are super,

Super welcome.

Going outside,

When you're just walking around,

It doesn't matter.

Sun,

Rain,

Snow,

Wind,

Affirmations are something we can incorporate whenever and wherever,

Especially when we feel fear or unsafe.

And I actually did this the other night.

So when I'm recording this for people who are listening after this is uploaded,

Yesterday was the 4th of July.

And in the United States,

Some people put fireworks to celebrate what they think is an Independence Day.

I'm not going to get into this topic,

But I do not celebrate the 4th of July.

I don't feel like I have any independence in this country,

But that's another time,

Another topic for another time.

But the night before the 4th of July,

From the evening of the 3rd to the 4th,

Somebody set off fireworks at like 2 in the morning or 4 in the morning and it shook my room.

How close it was.

It was so loud and it woke me up and I was very,

Very frightened.

It really,

Really triggered my fight or flight.

And I felt like I was about to have like,

It was like the beginning of having a panic attack and I was really terrified.

And all I did,

I was in bed,

I was just holding myself and I said,

I am safe.

I am alive.

I am safe.

I am okay.

There is no harm around me.

I am safe.

I am safe.

I am safe.

And I just kept telling myself,

I am safe.

I am safe.

I am safe.

And just using that affirmation to try to get me to calm down as I was breathing.

And that's,

That's just like a really personal example from like yesterday.

But affirmations don't always have to be used when facing fear or when feeling unsafe,

But they are really helpful to be used when you are feeling unsafe if you ever come across a situation that you don't feel okay in.

But,

You know,

It was,

It's been a while since I've like had that sort of feeling that I was that scared,

That I was that panicked.

So I have been using affirmations for a while to feel safe in my body and in my home.

And that is not something that many people realize is that we can use affirmations to feel safe in our bodies,

To feel safe wherever we are.

And it does,

Like affirmations doesn't just have to be like,

I feel pretty today.

I like how I look.

It can be as serious as I am safe in my body.

I am,

It is okay for me to feel safe,

You know?

And it can be the,

Like to help bring in manifesting,

Wanting to feel good about yourself and to help your self-esteem and confidence.

I definitely use affirmations for that and have been for years.

So I just wanted to share that experience just because I think not a lot of people realize,

You know,

In the moment of fear,

It's really hard to stop feeling fear,

Especially in when you hear a loud booming noise outside your window in the middle of the night.

Not many people think like,

Oh,

Let me just tell myself I feel safe.

But that's like years of me practicing affirmation.

So I want to make sure that people are aware that it takes time to regulate yourself to the habit of having affirmations ready when you need them.

And I want to talk a little bit about a study with how energy affects water.

And I swear this is linked to affirmation,

So bear with me.

But Dr.

Masaru Emoto,

I hope I'm pronouncing his name right.

He studied scientific evidence of how the molecular structure in water transforms when it is exposed to human words,

Thoughts,

Sounds,

And intentions.

And he studied this for around 20 years before he passed away.

And also he has a whole book written about it called The Hidden Messages and Water.

If you want to dive more into that,

I definitely recommend looking it up.

But in this research,

He would take water,

Like a dirty water from a lake,

And would either him or somebody else would send prayers or send good intentions.

And his research showed that any like polluted or toxic water,

When exposed to a prayer or an intention,

It was able to be altered and restored to form beautifully geometric crystals found in clean and healthy water.

And I have some pictures.

This website is the wellnessenterprise.

Com.

This is where like all these pictures are from and is breaking down some of the studies.

So when speaking to the water,

When saying love and gratitude,

The water molecules look like these little crystals.

And if you're just listening and you can't see this live,

Just trust me that this love and gratitude crystal is beautiful.

And when you said,

You disgust me,

This is what the molecules look like in the water.

And for people listening,

It's not cute.

It's not something you want to put in your body.

And these are more examples like eternal peace.

They just look like snowflakes,

Like the molecular structure of the water.

It looks like snowflakes.

It looks like magic.

And then when saying like evil to the water,

It shows just like,

It looks like like there's bacteria forming.

And so the reason why I'm talking about this is because as most of us know,

Our bodies are made up of a lot of water.

We are majority water.

So when we tell ourselves,

Thank you,

I love you,

I am safe,

I am love,

Our own,

Like our cellular,

Our cells,

Our molecular structure,

It crystallizes.

And we are able to raise our vibration in love,

In light,

And have these crystals within our body.

And when you tell yourself negative self-talk like,

I hate myself,

I want to hurt myself,

I want to do things that I don't deserve this.

And when you say these negative things,

The structure will change to match that energy and will bring you down and lower your vibration.

And that's why affirmations are really,

Really helpful in diminishing the negative self-talk.

In diminishing the negative self-talk,

We are able to switch our subconscious beliefs that have been taught for us to not like ourselves,

To be super judgmental and harmful towards ourselves.

Using affirmations,

We can take these limiting beliefs and clear them and release them and replace them with feelings of worthiness and love and acceptance.

So I just talked about how we can change the molecular structure within our bodies.

And that's also why I mentioned earlier to use affirmations when drinking water.

So at the end,

After I talk about everything I have to do,

I'm going to ask everybody here to grab a glass of water and we can say some affirmations together.

But in the morning,

I always like to pour a glass of water if I don't already have one poured for myself and hold my glass just with both of my hands and just speak any and all affirmations I can remember or that I have written down into my glass of water and then thinking about them and feeling gratitude as I drink it.

Because not only am I changing the molecular structure in the water that I'm drinking,

But this water will go into my body and help raise me up and help make me feel more safe and help nourish my body.

I wanted to share a little bit of the science,

The research behind it,

Because when I found that out a few years ago,

I was shocked.

And I actually just like the other day on TikTok,

I don't know if some of you were on TikTok,

I saw a video of someone who tried this experiment himself.

And for one glass of water,

He had printed,

Thank you,

I love you.

And the other glass of water he had,

I hate you,

You disgust me.

And just after one day of going to these glasses of water,

One of them was like really,

Really clear.

And the other one was just like,

You could see,

Like there was stuff in the water,

Like maybe like mold was starting to form.

It was not,

Not,

I would not want to drink the glass of water that was talk negative too because it's just,

We have magic and we have power to influence the world around us.

And,

You know,

If you have plants too,

You can say affirmations to your plants to help them grow stronger.

When I'm watering my plants,

I'm saying,

Thank you for growing strong.

You're growing so beautifully.

You're going so quickly.

You know,

We can use affirmations not just for ourselves,

But for the other life around us as well.

So how do we create an affirmation that feels in alignment with ourselves?

I want to say there's no shame in taking or copying somebody else's affirmations.

I actually encourage it to find other affirmations that other people are using.

And if they work for you to start using them for yourself.

I mean,

Sure you could sit and maybe meditate and see what comes up,

But you know,

It's honestly really easy just to look up helpful affirmations for self-confidence or listening to meditations of other people's affirmations.

I have a self-love and compassion Reiki meditation up on my page that I say some affirmations and if you want to listen to that,

It's like a 15-minute meditation and write down any that resonate with you.

I definitely suggest it.

And I'll also say some affirmations at the end of this live.

So there's no need for affirmations to be an original sentence in order for them to work.

They're there to resonate with you and to be repeated in order to work and helps shift the subconscious and the conscious mind.

I also want to mention things that we can avoid when creating affirmations because it's important to avoid negatives like saying I am not or I never because you know,

The universe is kind of tricky and with words and specifics.

So sometimes when we say I am not or I am never it creates a block and allows the no and never energy to kind of flow in and manifest rather than what you're saying.

I am not so rather than saying I do not fear you can turn the affirmation into I am fearless instead of wishing for something to go away in an affirmation try to word it in a way as something that is coming into your life and that helps the affirmation.

I can't explain the science behind this one.

It's just the universe is a little interesting with the way things are worded.

But rather than saying,

You know,

I am no longer fearful you can say I am fearless or I release all fear that is unaligned from my highest timeline and I get it can be kind of tricky when talking about like things that are no longer serving me because I use affirmations like I release all that no longer serves me and it has that no in there.

But the way that I can explain this is the fear and an energy that is out of your alignment things that are not in alignment with you.

They already exist.

You're not going to create new energy that is not in alignment with you.

So within some sort of other dimension or timeline this energy that doesn't align with you is already here and we are allowed to remove our subconscious from being in alignment with the fear or the subconscious can release the fears that don't belong to us and don't serve us.

So when you say I release fear that is not in alignment with me,

You know or or things along those lines like when you're using the word no or not you can use it and I hope this is making sense that you can use it in that way because it's not creating any new fear rather than I am not afraid.

The not is kind of ignored in the affirmation so the universe hears I am afraid your subconscious hears I am afraid rather than I am fearless.

Just acknowledging the fear that you've been in contact with and releasing it is not going to bring the fear inside.

That's kind of my advice on staying away from specific things like rather than saying I am not unworthy say I am worthy.

You know switching it from the negative to the more positive to bring that into your life and to bring it in alignment with your subconscious so that it takes the positive from the from the affirmation.

It's not easy to change your subconscious mind with affirmations if you're only doing it a few times.

You know if you're waking up for every day once a week and trying to say the same affirmation you know maybe you'll feel better throughout the day but if you stop after that week there's not really going to be any major shifts and so you need to keep sending these affirmations and when I say sending it can be your you can say affirmations out loud you can think them you can just feel the energy of them you know whatever feels more right to you.

I like to say them out loud to my water in the morning but there are definitely days that I don't do it and I just think them in my head.

There was a study in the late 1950s that has now been debunked that people say it takes 21 days to form a habit and while doing something for 21 days will definitely help create that habit there's a more recent study which is still I mean now it's 2022 and the study is from 2009.

It's from the University of London and in this study and the research that they did they found on average it requires around 66 days so about two months for the new habit to start becoming automatic and 254 days for the habit to become fully formed and I'm not saying this to try to overwhelm or prevent you from trying to start a habit to start adding affirmations into your daily life because you know all it takes is just trying to set the intention for just for one week you know just seeing if you can do it once a day even once a week if you need to just try and then after you get through a week say you know I did a week let me try another week let me try another two weeks oh my god I've been doing this for a month let me try for another month and another month it's important to go easy on yourself and to take these baby steps and not I think if I were to set an intention like I'm gonna do this every day for 254 days that's gonna be really overwhelming for me so I'm just gonna start with a week and you know maybe one day I'll get to 254 days of this thing and not having that be the end goal I think will make it less overwhelming but originally I was gonna talk about just trying it for a month because I I hear all the time you know it takes 21 days to make a habit and you know I know people who still say that to this day but you know apparently according to this new study it's not fully true but 21 days definitely will help to create this habit and to form it in your body and to start the shift in your subconscious you know it's all about just starting the shift because once the shift has started everybody's journey is different it's gonna take everybody a different amount of time for the affirmations to do what they need to do everybody has different blocks in their system everybody's healing work is unique to their own life journey so no two people are gonna have the same reaction to one affirmation but that affirmation may have a similar effect of bringing love and bringing joy and diminishing the fear and diminishing limiting beliefs within that person so you know the shifts aren't gonna happen overnight but bringing in affirmations is something that can genuinely shift your world into being in alignment with your dreams and your wants and your desires and I've seen this in my life over the last two years and I'll share some affirmations from a couple years ago that I had written down that I still use to this day and I change after like the affirmations I say on a day-to-day basis they change and sometimes I'll say the same affirmation for three months in a row and sometimes I'll forget about it or I'll feel called to say a different affirmation and I usually with every new moon and full moon and they happen every two weeks I like to channel affirmations and with the new moon I usually bring in I am statements and with the full moon I usually have I release statements and both of these are affirmations in my eyes there are some affirmations that I have been saying for years and years and years and so this is one of my first like spiritual journals it's from like a simply grateful journal book that I've had for years but I only really started journaling in 2020 and this and on this page it is from August 18th 2020 and on the top of the page it says today I am grateful and I wrote the new moon I said I trust the universe I am at the right place at the right time under the right circumstances this moment is as it should be that's what I have at the top of the page and the affirmations I have written down on the bottom are I am happy I am healthy I am strong I am powerful I am wealthy I am loved I am caring I spread positivity to the world I am independent I am intelligent I am wanted I am safe I am beautiful and these affirmations when I was writing this down I did not believe in all of these things you don't have to believe in the affirmations that you're saying and that's part of the magic is the more you start saying them the more your subconscious starts to believe them and I am still saying I am happy I am healthy I am loved I am caring I am safe like those five I still say to this day like those are part of my in the morning I'll go through some of the affirmations that I typically say in the morning but these I just want to give an example like these affirmations I still take them with me and I still say them to this day and I had this page bookmarked but now I'm curious to see if there are some more affirmations that I can find that I like still use from a couple years ago so I'm gonna do some flipping and see what I can find like towards the end of the book so this is from May 16 2021 said I am worthy of love I can't let me see if I can even read my own handwriting I trust my intuition I love myself unconditionally I move forward forward with unconditional love for others and unconditional love and respect for others and I am supported with unconditional love and respect from all of my close relationships so that was something last year that I was really like hankering down on is releasing people from my life that weren't serving me and I was using this affirmation I am supported and and loved unconditionally and respected from all of my close relationships and now I can tell you a year later if there is somebody that is not loving me unconditionally that is not supportive of me that is bringing me down I release them from my life I'm saying you know you don't deserve to be around me I know my worth I I only surround myself with people that lift me up you know and that's not something that I could say a year ago it's really hard to to release people like that but I and this is honestly this this is a synchronicity for me finding this affirmation because just for this last new moon I also wrote down an affirmation just like that saying I'm so the relationships around me support and love me unconditionally and you know and that's a good example of how affirmations can shift over time but they still have the similar meaning and how important it is to I like to write them down too but you can just say them out loud and and continue to to say them for months and months and months and they will reign true you know even if you don't believe it at the beginning I when I started affirmations every day when I started speaking into my water I was like this is so dumb like is this ever gonna work and then two months later I found myself not having as much anxiety finding myself more happy finding myself more confident and I was saying affirmations like you know I'm worthy I am confident I'm beautiful I love myself I am safe I'm supported and all of these affirmations you know you start to feel them and you start to believe them after a while and you know some people it may take just one month of doing it and you know some people it may take a whole year and you know for me some of these affirmations it's been two years since I've been saying them and and sometimes they don't feel true and there's a saying fake it till you make it you know and that's kind of how I feel it is with affirmations especially if you're starting out at the beginning and you're not used to doing them sometimes you just have to fake it till you make it and if you say it like you're pretending like I love myself unconditionally with that kind of energy rather than yeah I love myself unconditionally you know just pretending can bring in that energy and make it even more vibrant and make it even more believable for your subconscious mind because your subconscious doesn't know whether or not you're joking so anything you say ironically like with a negative self-talk it's going to manifest that into your subconscious and that's why affirmations work because even if you're not genuinely thinking it's true your subconscious will take it in as a fact so I am safe I am loved I am worthy your subconscious is going to take these in and start to believe them and you're going to start to feel more worthy and feel more loved as you keep saying these and keep bringing them into your life and then the last bit of my notes I just want to say while I say that I like to do affirmations on a daily basis it's totally okay to not do it and I have days where I forget and I don't say my affirmations and sometimes it's like a whole week where I'm not saying my affirmation and I'll be like feeling it a little bit and I'll be like why do I feel not good and it's like oh because I haven't been saying my affirmations you know and I'll notice that and myself if I'm not saying them that I'll feel a little bit more dampened in the day and that's why I like to do it first thing in the morning just because it helps me and lift me up but you can say them at any point at any time in the day and sometimes I only say them in my head and sometimes I say them out loud and sometimes I write them down and again it's it's really your own journey and it takes a different amount of time for everybody and there is no right way to implement affirmations into your life it's all about your own unique journey and what feels right to you and your body and your mind and your spirit nobody if somebody is telling you you're doing it wrong they're wrong because there is no right and there is no wrong when it comes to this type of practice you know whatever words you're using whatever statements whatever ideas you want to bring in it is totally up to you and you can use affirmations from anything to you know feeling beautiful and feeling confident to like taking pain away from your body like if you're hurt you know say like I am and if you're feeling sick or something you say I am in perfect health and visualize this and feel this and it you know you're not going to heal overnight with just saying an affirmation it's going to take a lot more than that but it's not going to hurt you and you may feel a little bit better and you may feel a little bit more at ease and the dis-ease and the the pain and the fear or the anxiety it will dissipate little by little day by day what I want to do now is I want you to grab a glass of water wherever it is you are it doesn't need to be a clear glass just grab a glass of water or any it can be anything it can be food it can be any type of liquid you know anything you're putting in your body you can speak affirmations to it because you know there are liquids and water in most things that we consume you know what I mean I don't know much of things that don't have any water in them I mean there there definitely are but you know like things that you're going to put in your body and eat like ready ready made to eat most things have some sort of molecular structure that will the energy will help change it to be more crystallized when you add these positive affirmations to them so I hope everybody has their water together or food or you don't even need to be drinking water you can just say these or think these to yourself but I'm going to say them in I am but this is applying to all of you so it's also you are if you have a glass of water if you don't it's all good we're going to start some affirmations together I am enough I am grounded I am loved I am free I am fearless I am intelligent I am talented I am kind I am safe I am worthy I am magic I love that one I am light I am compassionate I am peace I am divinely protected and guided I am patient I am graceful I am balanced I am healthy I am inspirational I am happy and those are what I have written down but some other ones that I'm thinking of is you know I always like to say I love myself unconditionally I accept myself unconditionally I love and accept others unconditionally even if they don't accept me all I need is already within me now I have everything I need already within me now those two I sometimes will say something around the lines of that but that's one I love is all I need all my dreams all of my wants all my wishes they already belong to me divine gifts and miracles flow easily into my life for the greatest and highest good of all with harm to none and at the end of my affirmations I whenever I'm drinking my water I always like to say with harm to none for the greatest and highest good of all thank you thank you thank you I love you thank I love to tell my water thank you I love you and then I say yes so it is and I drink my water so I'm gonna drink some sips of water and as I drink the water I like to feel gratitude and and like say in my mind like thank you I love you and thank you I love you and you know just like that little prayer of gratitude in itself as an affirmation and so I hope you join me in that today and I always feel lighter after I do this in the morning you know sometimes waking up if I haven't protected my energy in throughout the night and I wake up and I'm feeling kind of dull sometimes before I even protect my energy in the morning I'll start I'll drink my water and I'll hydrate myself with these affirmations and then it feels so much better thank you so much for listening today I hope you learned something new and I hope you have a beautiful and magical rest of your day and I hope you take some affirmations for yourself and I hope you start to implement affirmations in your daily life or just try once a week you know you know you never know what it's what it's gonna do but I'm sending you so so much love and light thank you so much have a great day.

Thank you for this. I plan to be more mindful of my self-talk and incorporate affirmations I want to manifest or continue to manifest in my life. I love the idea of using affirmations with food and water. I feel like it can help instill loving healing power into it. Hadn't considered this option before and excited to be mindful of this!

I listened to this live & am so grateful that I could listen again to this recording, as I definitely got a lot more meaning & insight 2nd time round. I haven’t always favoured ir committed to affirmations. After hearing you explain not only the science behind it (💡moment!), but the far-reaching benefits of affirmations in such a relatable way, I will approach them differently. Thanks so very much, El. This is an important talk with easy & motivating instruction. 🙏🏻💗💝
