Hello,
I'm Jess and welcome to this guided meditation for relaxation and accompaniment to your long distance Reiki session.
We'll begin by either lying down or sitting in a comfortable position.
Just notice how good it feels to take a moment to sit down or lie down and let your eyes close and bring your attention to your breath.
No need to change your breath or judge it,
Just notice as the air is coming in through your nostrils on your inhale and leaving out your nostrils on your exhale.
We will now take a deep breath into your belly,
Filling your belly with air up like a balloon and letting that air fill up to your lungs all the way to your collarbones and release all of the air out through your nostrils and as you do this just let the tension relax from your body and let your body feel heavy and supported by what you're sitting or lying on.
Our next deep breath again into your belly expanding like a balloon and filling up with air all the way up your lungs into your collarbone and once again exhaling all the air out and letting your body relax about 10% more.
We'll take one more deep breath just like that filling up the belly full like a balloon all the way up to your collarbone and exhaling all of the air out and as you do so bring your attention to the spot in between your eyebrows and just release any tension that you might be holding there.
Release your forehead tension and your cheeks,
Your mouth,
Tongue and throat and just keep noticing scanning down your body and as you notice these body parts let the tension just melt away and feel heavy like a melting sensation flowing down your body going through your chest,
Shoulders,
Biceps,
Forearms,
Hands and fingers through your abdomen and your hips,
Thighs,
Knees,
Calves,
Ankles,
Feet and toes.
And just again bring your attention back to your breath just noticing just noticing how your body feels now as you release some of that tension and let yourself be fully supported by the couch or the bed or the chair that you're lying on.
And we'll just continue noticing as you inhale and exhale entering the rest of this track.
And if you notice that your attention is drifting thoughts are creeping in no need to judge these thoughts it's perfectly natural just notice them and then bring your attention back to your breath.
Continue just to lay here and relax as you're either receiving Reiki or just finding a moment in the day for yourself to release tension and just give yourself a break.
Once again bring your attention back to your breath noticing the air entering your nostrils as you inhale and the air exiting your nostrils as you exhale.
As you continue to lie here bring your attention back to your body noticing how you feel now that you've released some tension and taken some time to relax.
Bring your attention to your toes and your fingers wiggling them a little and just coming back into your body with any movements that feel comfortable and natural.
Continue relaxing and we'll end this session with the Reiki precepts.
Just for today I will do no anger.
Just for today I will not worry.
Just for today I will be humble and grateful for my many blessings.
Just for today I will do my work honestly.
Just for today I will be kind to myself and to all living things.
Take a moment to thank yourself for taking this time to care for yourself and to give yourself relaxation and if you're receiving Reiki or giving yourself Reiki remember to thank Reiki and just ask it continues to flow through you as long as needed for the highest good.
And to give you only that which serves you.
