This meditation is for the excessive warrior in you-the part that pushes too hard, overcommits, or believes success only comes through relentless effort. If you’ve ever found yourself trying to conquer life instead of live it, this is your moment to pause, breathe, and reconnect to balance. Together, we’ll explore what’s driving that excess and invite in a more grounded, present kind of strength. True warrior energy isn’t about domination—it’s about clarity, resilience, and knowing when to let go. Let’s sit still and remember what real power feels like.

All right,

Welcome to the excessive warrior energy meditation.

So the excessive warrior in us might be the part of us that is overly focused,

Overly ambitious on one goal,

Perhaps overly competitive.

Maybe the ego takes over.

I'm the best.

I always need to win.

I will conquer you.

I'll defeat you.

Sounds like a little Napoleon complex there.

It's very likely that many physical warriors,

Athletes,

Suffer from excessive warrior energy.

And they find their personal identity through winning,

Through conquering,

And through being the best.

And they lose balance.

And maybe you don't feel like a mini dictator or a pro athlete necessarily,

But each of us can,

From time to time,

Kind of shift into that excessive warrior energy,

Maybe put in too much effort,

Become too ambitious,

And lose focus about what's really important.

So as we bring this energy back into balance,

We may have to let go of some old beliefs or ideas,

Some emotions,

Some energy that pushes us into excess.

And just like with every energy,

You can be deficient one moment and then excessive in another and then balanced in another.

So by no means are you always one.

It's a spectrum,

And we move on it based on the day,

The energy we're in,

The goals we're trying to accomplish.

And in this meditation,

We're going to find some more balance with our warrior.

And the warrior part of us is really the part that helps us focus and be committed and accomplish goals and to face our fears,

Perhaps even fear of death or fear of ego death,

And really gives us structure.

So this is a really important energy.

I think a lot of sensitive people try to get around this one or think they don't have a warrior in them,

But you do.

And if you have excessive warrior energy,

Let's start to shift that.

So eyes closed,

Take a deep breath,

Relax your shoulders,

And just draw your awareness behind your eyes.

See if you can let yourself be in this moment.

The warrior in us is the part of us that can be very present,

Perhaps in the face of danger,

In the face of apathy,

In the face of laziness,

Or a lack of commitment,

Or a fear of failure.

So say hello to that warrior in you,

The part of you that can sit and meditate.

Even if you get distracted,

Or there's pain,

Or you're annoyed,

The warrior in you makes a commitment to sit still anyway.

And the excessive warrior in you may think you're going to conquer meditation.

I'll be the best meditator.

I'll sit still longer than anyone.

I'll hold my body hostage until I find enlightenment.

See if you could bring yourself into more of a neutral state.

You can't win in meditation.

And I'd like you to take a moment here and just find one area of your life where perhaps you've been exerting too much warrior energy.

Somewhere in your life,

You're trying to win or complete a goal with excessive amounts of effort,

Perhaps where you can't just let things be.

For example,

If I exercise harder,

If I work more,

If I focus and overcommit,

I could avoid these feelings or these energies.

I could become who I want people to see me as.

Somewhere,

You're exerting too much effort.

Allow that place in your life to arise into your awareness.

And just to orient yourself to the energy,

Maybe you put it in a bubble out in front of you in your mind's eye so you can almost see the energy or see the scenario.

And from here,

Let's ask an important question.

Why am I putting so much effort into this?

Is it out of fear?

Is it out of a belief that more effort equals success?

Do I need other people's approval?

Get a sense of what puts oxygen into this excessive warrior,

What the true motivation behind it is.

And we're not judging it or trying to control it.

Let yourself just be aware of it.

Maybe even feel it.

Can you allow yourself to almost surrender some of this excessive effort back to life and have a bit more trust?

As you recognize the true motivation behind this energy,

Even if it's kind of fuzzy,

Maybe you just get a feeling or a sense.

Just notice the energy.

And a true warrior,

A healthy warrior,

Faces their fears,

Faces resistance,

Obstacles,

In a grounded,

Healthy way.

So call on your inner warrior now to face whatever this energy is.

Perhaps you've been avoiding it,

Trying to override it with effort.

See what happens as you really face it.

You may even feel some energy melting off of you or coming off of the bubble.

You may experience an old belief kind of falling away or popping out.

What does it begin to feel like when your real warrior rises to the occasion here?

When you step out of excess,

Perhaps out of inflating,

The warrior in you can handle anything,

Any energy.

Allow yourself to call on that inner power.

The warrior in you could be grounded,

Present,

And neutral.

It may even become a presence for others and make them feel secure.

Allow any last energies to melt off.

Bring that warrior energy back into balance.

You don't have to fight life or be in too much effort to accomplish goals or to win by cutting off the heads of others.

Be a true,

Grounded,

Present warrior who's focused,

Committed,

And can face fears and accomplish goals without losing themselves.

Take a nice,

Big,

Deep breath in.

Easy sigh out.

Great work.

When you're ready,

You can slowly come out of meditation.

Open your eyes,

Stretch.

Go enjoy yourself,

And I will see you in the next one.

Be well.
