Hey there,
Grab a seat,
Get nice and still.
We're about to step into our potential and balance with the warrior energy.
So the warrior in us is the part of us that's decisive,
Confident,
Can overcome fear with courage.
It's the part of us,
Perhaps,
That likes to create security for ourselves and for others.
The part of us that can be really disciplined and grounded when we have a goal.
Often the warrior in modern times may look like an athlete,
A soldier,
Maybe a fitness instructor,
But that's just how it might manifest in a career.
We each have warriors inside of us,
Usually sensitive people who meditate a lot.
They may shy away from their warrior energy,
But it's really important as meditators.
It's important as somebody who wants to look inside,
Heal yourself,
Grow,
And find your potential that you do it with a warrior spirit.
Because if we're too soft all the time,
Then we always may find an excuse to avoid something we don't like.
Like,
Oh,
My intuition says I just don't need to go out today to go to work,
To exercise,
To get this done.
We may get too feely,
Too soft,
And we need that warrior in us to really keep us on point and on our path.
So in this meditation,
We're going to take a look at that potential and really start to find balance with our warrior energy.
So grab a seat,
Eyes closed.
The warrior can be nice and still.
And when we meditate,
The warrior in us may be the part of us that's good at sitting still through distraction,
Frustration,
Pain.
When I started meditating a lot,
I would meditate for hours,
And I share this in the book.
I wasn't great at meditating,
But I was very determined.
And so I would sit and sit and sit until eventually I would have breakthroughs.
So you need that warrior part of you to sit still in meditation in the face of energy that might want to pull you away.
So with your eyes closed,
Take a deep breath.
Relax your body.
The warrior can be on point,
But can also be relaxed.
Drop your shoulders away from your ears.
Allow yourself,
Allow your warrior energy to be focused and calm.
What I'd like you to do is imagine yourself sitting in front of a calm lake.
You're looking down at the water.
And as you peer into the lake,
You notice a bubble from down below slowly begin to rise to the surface.
You put your hand in the water and you scoop it up.
And with an open palm,
You take a look at this bubble.
You peer inside of it.
And you find a clear image of what you look like when you're tapping into your potential as a warrior.
And when we tap into our potential as a warrior,
Usually we're overcoming some kind of fear or resistance.
And we're achieving a goal.
So as you peer into this bubble and see an image of yourself,
What is the resistance or fear you're overcoming?
And what goal is it that you're achieving with a level of discernment,
Of discipline,
And confidence?
See that for yourself for a moment.
And sit with it.
The warrior in us is the part of us that puts the energy and focus into whatever goals we want to achieve.
So even right now,
If there's any distraction or lack of clarity,
Allow yourself to really sit still and focus.
Let yourself sharpen the image that you're looking at by being really present.
Let this image show you one energy that you overcome.
And in overcoming a goal that you achieve.
And to achieve this goal,
You may have to shed a layer of fear or resistance,
Maybe some apathy,
Perhaps an inflated or deflated sense of self,
And be a true,
Humble warrior.
Recognize that this goal isn't an option.
It's not something you achieve on the weekend when you have a moment.
But it's a deep calling within your being.
Something you're really here to step into.
The warrior in us is able to face any fear we have that arises and look at it directly.
The warrior in you also may recognize that essentially you have two choices.
You can follow the path of fear and resistance and see how that works out.
Or you can move through it by facing it calmly in this moment,
Just by seeing it and not running away.
And stepping into the direction of achieving a goal.
You may feel energy melt off of you.
You may feel energy release.
You may see it.
The warrior is able to sit in meditation with fear or resistance or apathy and be present.
Be nonjudgmental.
Really own the experience.
The warrior even embraces these energies.
These energies fuel the warrior in us.
They help us recognize we're on to something.
It's like,
Ah,
If there's fear or resistance here,
There must be something of value I'm growing into,
Something of value I'm here to achieve by overcoming this challenge.
Really allow yourself to take a look at this life goal that you're moving towards and perhaps notice that whatever this energy in the way is,
This is not actually in the way.
It is the way.
Your warrior can only develop by passing through these gates of initiation.
One of them might be fear.
One may be apathy.
One may be distraction.
Allow yourself to step into your potential by facing these energies one by one.
The warrior may face the fear of death,
Of ego death,
The fear of criticism,
The fear of failure.
Recognize what this challenge is for you and just look at it compassionately and directly and allow yourself to have a level of commitment,
Almost like an energetic commitment that you will work through it.
Some things in life take an enormous amount of effort,
And the warrior knows how much effort to put in at the right moment,
When to press on the gas and when to let go.
See if you can take one more look at this life goal.
Find more clarity and be almost laser focused on it.
Ground this goal right in front of you in your mind's eye.
Let any distractions melt off of it,
Any fear melt off of it.
The warrior in us doesn't wait until perfection happens.
The warrior in us makes progress step by step with the right amount of effort and focus.
Feel yourself achieving this goal.
Start to feel it in your body.
Allow yourself to really have it and recognize that the warrior in you,
As it steps into its potential,
It always shows up.
The warrior shows up.
Amazing work.
When you're ready,
For now,
You can let this image go.
Take a deep breath.
Own your warrior.
You're here to get things done in life,
To take action,
To overcome fear and to achieve your goals on a human level.
Great work.
Take a deep breath in.
Easy sigh out.
And when you're ready,
You can slowly open your eyes and stretch.
Go be that warrior.
Go accomplish whatever you're here to accomplish.
And I'll see you in the next meditation.
