Just finished a deep learning or skill practice? This post-learning protocol helps lock in that progress. Backed by neuroscience, it uses intense breathwork and visualization to boost adrenaline and norepinephrine—key neurochemicals that enhance memory and learning. Use after studying, practicing an instrument, or learning any information/skill.

Welcome to this post-learning and skill protocol.

This protocol is designed to boost memory and skill retention.

Use this after studying,

Playing a musical instrument,

Sport training,

Or any other skill you want to improve.

The goal is to raise your adrenaline and norepinephrine.

Studies show that when boosting these chemicals,

Learning and skill retention is significantly increased.

This protocol requires a lot of intense breathing,

So feel free to stop at any time if it gets too much for you.

Grab a seat,

And let's get started.

Beginning with two rounds of Tumo breathing.

Big intense inhale through the nose,

And a shorter exhale out the mouth.

It goes something like this.

After one minute,

You will end with a breath hold after your last exhale.

Starting in 3,

2,

1,

Go.

Breath hold after your last exhale,

And hold for 30 seconds.

Now visualize what you have just learned.

Let this information and skill embed itself into your nervous system.

Know that this information and skill is now part of you.

Big inhale,

Hold for 5 seconds.

Breathe normally.

Let's do the last round.

This time you'll go for 90 seconds and end with a 30 second breath hold on the last exhale.

Starting in 3,

2,

1,

Go.

Halfway there.

Breath hold in 3,

2,

1,

Hold.

Taking everything you've just learned.

See yourself using this new skill and knowledge.

Know that it's part of you now.

Big inhale,

Hold for 5 seconds.

Breathe normally.

Moving on to 20 seconds of fire breathing.

This is a rapid inhale through the nose,

And rapid exhale up the nose or mouth.

Goes like this.

Take a normal breath in,

Exhale,

And go.

Halfway there.

Now end on an exhale and hold for 10 seconds.

Inhale and hold for 10.

Breathe normally.

We've come to the end.

Make sure when getting up you do so slowly.

This was quite intense.

If you want to boost your memory or skill retention even more,

You can go take a cold shower or cold plunge.

Or you can have some caffeine like coffee or tea.

These also boost adrenaline and norepinephrine.

Happy learning and see you next time.
