Welcome to your wild and wise ritual track.

I'm Danae Jensen,

Plant medicine and healing guide.

How you are and how you feel in the world matters deeply to me.

If you enjoy this ritual and feel called to journey more deeply into healing and self-actualization,

I would be so honored to walk beside you.

If you haven't already,

Steep yourself a cup of wild and wise tea.

Pause here until your tea is ready,

Then return when the cup is warm in your hands.

And when you're ready with your cup in hand,

Close your eyes and lift the cup towards you to take a nice long slow inhale through your nose.

Breathe in the minty floral citrusy aroma and exhale.

Take your first slow sip.

Your plant allies today are white pine,

The elder of breath and presence,

Lavender,

The gentle keeper of calm,

And peppermint,

The fresh clarity of awakening.

Together,

They remind you how to move with nature's rhythm,

Rooted,

Open,

And aware.

Hold your tea and sip it as you feel called throughout the ritual.

Inhaling the warm aromatics is beautiful medicine for your lungs.

Take a deep breath in through your nose and exhale through your mouth.

And with each exhale,

Feel your body soften into the surface beneath you.

Mind slow and your breath lengthen.

There is nothing to do,

Nowhere to go,

Only this moment right here,

Right now.

Only your breath.

Notice the freshness in the air around you,

A trace of mint clearing your senses.

Feel lavender's quiet confidence settle over you like a shawl of calm.

And far beneath that calm,

Pine's deep heartbeat steadies your own.

Now I invite you to imagine with me.

Imagine yourself standing on a rocky shore at dawn.

Behind you,

The ocean moves in long,

Slow breaths in and out,

A wise,

Unrushed rhythm.

And before you,

The edge of a coastal forest awaits,

Mist curling between the trunks of trees.

The air is cool and fragrant with pine resin and salt.

Now begin to walk toward the trees.

Pebbles shift under your feet,

A sea breeze plays with your hair,

And each step slows your thoughts a little more.

The world sits in stillness and quiet as you cross into the forest.

All around you,

Rise the wise elders,

Pines,

Spruce,

Cedar,

Their branches swaying to the stories older than memory.

You notice the softness of the moss,

The scent of damp earth and the hush that fills the air between the waves of the ocean behind you.

As you scan the tree line,

One grand pine tree stands out to you,

Inviting you to come close,

Inviting you to remember a wisdom almost forgotten,

Almost lost,

But now you get to remember.

Make your way over to your special tree.

And once you're close enough,

Begin to acquaint yourself with the tree.

Notice the details of the tree's trunk,

The texture,

Thickness,

And color of the bark.

This is your tree,

And it is however you would like it to be.

Is it sticky with resin?

Are there other life forms being nourished by the tree,

Like moss or lichens,

Mushrooms or insects?

Be curious and open as you visually explore your chosen tree.

Now place your hand on the trunk and feel the contrast of the rough bark and soft moss on the skin of your palm.

You are so close you can smell the deep woody aroma,

The freshness and the earthiness.

Breathe deeply to fully open your lungs,

Invoking the medicine and protection of the conifer's pungent volatile oils.

Breathe with the tree as you take in all of its fresh oxygen and exhale,

Giving your breath back to the tree.

Just have a sip of your tea now.

Understand that you are within yourself.

The rocky shore is you.

The ocean is you.

The trees are you.

You are the trees.

Be one.

Everything you gain here is a gift of wisdom you already hold deep within your wild bones.

Take a deep breath and inhale stillness.

Inhale slowness.

Breathe in harmony.

Can you embody the tree's wisdom?

Can you be still and slow and harmonic?

Yes,

You can.

Can you trust in divine timing the way the tree trusts the earth to turn?

These are the easy bits of wisdom that trees offer us willingly.

Take another sip of your tea now and delight in the beauty of your oneness with this tree.

I invite you to be greatly curious now.

Let's explore the idea with childlike wonder.

What is it like to live a tree's existence?

You are already so very much like a tree.

You are grounded.

You are strong.

You are growing.

And you have everything you need.

Continue imagining with me now.

Imagine that you are your special tree.

Your sap is circulating slowly within you,

As is the natural way of things.

Very slowly use your inhale now to draw your sap up from your roots into the top of your head.

Feel the sap rising up through your body as you breathe it up very,

Very slowly.

And with your very slow out-breath,

Your sap moves back down from the top of your head all the way down.

Slower this time.

Inhale your sap up.

Feel it move with your breath,

Slow and steady,

Carrying life force up through your center.

Pause at the crown of your head,

The canopy of your being,

And exhale slowly,

Letting the sap flow back down through you.

Can you flow a microsecond slower?

You are a very slow and very wise tree.

Each breath becomes a slow circulation of wisdom and rest.

Slower and slower.

Good.

Keep breathing slower and slower.

Find how easy it is,

Easily slowing down.

Now your breath is slow.

Your heart is steady.

Your body is strong.

And your thoughts are still.

In this state of peace and stillness,

You can easily absorb all the love that surrounds you.

When we rush from thing to thing,

We miss the moments of true presence with the ones we love.

And we miss the full experience of our precious life.

Wild is free because it knows how to be what it is.

Wild is wise because it flows with the rhythms,

Resting and doing in natural harmony.

This peaceful energy that you are experiencing right now is running through you in absolute abundance,

And it is always available to you anytime you need it.

Just take a moment to breathe and recall your very special tree to find yourself back to the state of peaceful being.

And you can always steep yourself a cup of tea to be in the moment in an act of slowing down.

Stay here now with your special tree for just a moment,

Simply being.

And notice the quiet gratitude that hums between you.

The tree stands in its truth,

Neither rushing nor resisting.

And you remember that you too can live this way.

Before you leave and say goodbye,

Offer thanks to the tree,

To the forest,

To the breath that connects you.

Then imagine yourself stepping back toward the edge of the woods.

The sound of the ocean grows louder again.

You pause at the meeting place between forest and sea,

Between stillness and motion,

And take one final breath of coastal air.

And now it's time to return back to your room with your cup of tea in hand.

So when you're ready,

Bring your awareness back to your body.

Feel the surface beneath you,

The weight of gravity,

And the steady rhythm of your breath.

If your eyes are closed,

Let them open softly.

Take a sip of your tea if any remains.

Having the rest as you please.

It's the forest in liquid form.

You return calm and clear and at peace,

The wisdom of the trees alive within you.

Thank you for allowing me and these sacred plant allies to guide you today.

And may their magic and medicine continue to ground you and lift you with every cup.
