Hello and welcome to this guided somatic movement practice.

Start by finding a comfortable standing position,

Allowing your feet to rest gently on the ground if you can,

And then allowing your hands to rest gently on your body,

Maybe on your heart or your belly,

And take a moment to just close your eyes if that feels okay.

Take a soft breath in through your nose,

Filling up,

And sigh it out.

We'll do that a few more times.

Inhaling,

And exhaling.

Inhaling,

And exhaling.

Let it go.

Wow.

And begin to gently shift your weight from side to side,

Maybe swaying gently,

And feeling how the earth holds you,

Supports you.

Lean into this support now,

And begin to invite that gentle movement up through your legs,

Bending your knees,

And feeling how your body may want to move right now in this moment.

Maybe you invite some circles up through your hips and spine.

There's no wrong way to do this.

Really feeling into you and what feels good in your body today.

Inviting that movement up through your chest and your arms.

Maybe moving your arms up and down,

Side to side,

Circling,

Allowing yourself to move from the inside out.

Following your flow.

And again,

Feeling into that support of the ground below you.

Knowing that you are supported,

And you are held by the earth beneath you.

And for the next few moments,

Inviting that intuitive movement to flow through your entire body,

Allowing it to unfold from your center,

And allowing your movement to soften and slow,

Allowing your gestures to become smaller,

And returning to your breath.

Maybe place one hand on your heart and one on your belly,

And take a few breaths before opening your eyes,

And returning to your day.
