In the quiet,

You will hear the voice of your true self.

Welcome back dear one.

Tonight,

We journey into stillness,

A place that can feel unfamiliar or even uncomfortable.

But it's one that holds the quiet wisdom we so often overlook.

Our world is filled with noise,

The hum of responsibilities,

The chatter of our minds,

The endless chorus of shoulds and musts.

But beneath that noise,

There is something softer,

Something steady,

And something calm.

The voice of your true self.

So let us listen for it tonight.

Take a moment to settle.

Feel the surface beneath you supporting your body.

Take a breath that is unhurried,

Gentle,

Like the first soft light of dawn.

And then another,

Even slower this time.

Notice how the world begins to fade with each exhale.

The distractions,

The noise,

The rush.

What remains is silence.

Silence is not empty.

It is full of answers,

Full of peace.

Full of your very own wisdom,

Just waiting to be heard.

But silence can also feel unfamiliar,

Even intimidating.

We've been taught to fill it,

To drown it out,

As though it were something to fear.

But tonight,

We will embrace it,

Because it is in this stillness that we meet ourselves most clearly.

Close your eyes now,

And feel the gentle rhythm of your breath,

The rise and fall of your chest.

Now,

Imagine a still lake at twilight.

The water is calm,

Smooth like glass,

Reflecting the soft colors of the fading sky.

This lake is your inner self,

Quiet,

Reflective,

And endlessly deep.

It doesn't demand your attention.

It simply waits patiently for you to notice.

What do you see in this stillness?

Do thoughts rise up like ripples on the water?

That's okay.

Just watch them come and go,

Without reaching for them.

Do you feel a restlessness,

An urge to fill the silence with something,

With anything?

You see,

That's okay too.

Breathe into it,

And let it settle,

Like a leaf drifting to the bottom of the lake.

In this stillness,

There is no right or wrong.

There is only you.

And now I invite you to ask this stillness a question.

What is it I need to hear tonight?

Listen,

Not with expectation or force,

But with the quiet curiosity of a child watching the stars.

The answer may not come as a word,

A feeling or perhaps just the soft reassurance of silence itself.

Trust that whatever arises is exactly what you need.

This is the gift of stillness.

It doesn't push or pull.

It doesn't demand or judge.

It simply offers you the space to be.

As you rest in this quiet,

Feel the ease of letting go.

The peace of not needing to perform or prove.

Whisper softly to yourself,

In stillness I find myself.

In stillness I am enough.

As you prepare for sleep tonight,

Let this stillness hold you.

Let it cradle you like the calm water of that twilight lake.

And as you drift off,

Know that in this quiet,

Your true self is speaking to you.

Not in words,

But in the soft language of peace.

Good night,

Dear one.

Rest in the beauty of this silence and wake with the clarity it leaves behind.
